A hikers delight! Exclusive access to hike 192 acres in the Ozark Mountains.
You have exclusive access to 192 acres in the heart of the Ozark Mountains. You can hike to the top of the Needle Eye Mountain and see the beautiful panoramic views, explore caves and walk a beautiful trail. All sort of things to see from rock structures, the âChevy Ravineâ where you can see an old Chevy truck laid to rest. You can look for 4 Ponds and 2 natural springs. There is wild life from deers and armadillos to coyotes and black bear. Snakes ( Timber Rattlesnakes) are in area as well. Some have found arrowheads and other treasures.
The terrains is rugged. No marked paths just a trail cut around the property. Youâll have to go off trail to hike up the mountain. The hike to needle eye is challenging but going slow you can make it just fine. You will climb about 200 feet up to the top. There are caves and lovely vistas to view. There is an old goat shed with all sorts of treasures in it. Come back to the shed and there is a chiminea to enjoy, corn home or darts game.
You are free to hike the property. We will provide a map. We have ~25 chickens and you are welcome to collect the eggs and pet the birds.
The Needle Eye Mountain property was such a nice place for us to stay. Jennifer was very quick and easy to communicate with. The place was clean inviting. She was so nice to let us stay a little past normal checkout so we could explore and hike the mountain. The views and hike were excellent. Canât say enough good things about Jennifer as a host or the quality of our stay. Thanks so much!
I wanted somewhere out of town, like not in the center of branson more scenic. It was beautiful there and quiet. The host house is right next door. Overall its a nice rental for a weekend. Hikers or hunters would especially live this place. I was after more private and relaxing. I did not see them though so it was still kinda private . It even had washer and dryer exc. Host was very nice when messaging her about the property.
My husband and I moved here to Northwest Arkansas in 2022 . We have been on an adventure ever since. We have captured our experience on a blog- Tamingneedleeyemountain.com.
This will give you a look at how the property looked when we bought it and how we are slowly taming the mountain đ
