Great place with lots of room for fun!
Only 1/4 mile from Oglebay and 2/10 mile from Whg. Country Club. There are 5 bedrooms w/7 total beds & a large rec room with a pullout couch bed. Each bedroom has a smart tv with the Xfinity Stream app to watch cable tv and sports package. The kitchen is large & open to the dining room. The rec room has a large smart tv, bar, card table & video arcade with 60 throwback games. Garage has pool table & foosball table for extra fun! Plenty room for parking.

We had a wonderful three day stay at this beautiful property while celebrating our mother’s 80th birthday. The place was clean, spacious, and very comfortable for our family. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked, which made preparing meals so easy. We also loved the game room it was a great space for everyone to gather and have fun together.We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property to others. It was the perfect place for our special family celebration!

Overall, our stay was very enjoyable. The place was clean. The kitchen was well organized, except that one oven didn't really work because the control labels were unreadable. The bedrooms and bathrooms were excellent. They were all 5 steps up from the main area of kitchen, dining area, and living room. That was no problem except for one member of our party who is partially handicapped. The sidewalks and steps into one outside door are irregular. The dining area is rather small. Seven or eight people is all that can be accomodated at once, and there's not much room for expansion. It rained most of our stay so I can't say much about the outside. Despite the above negative comments, we definitely enjoyed out stay.

Thank you for your stay and for the suggestions. We do have a table leaf in the kitchen closet that leads to the bedroom with the half bath. When we have family dinners there, we utilize the bay window as well as the three stools along the countertop. There is also the table in the kitchen with two chairs and another chair in the area with the double glass doors. Two folding tables along with 8 folding chairs are located in the laundry room. I may need to update our page with the extra seating information, I apologize. We will be placing a rail leading to the home. I am sad the weather did not cooperate Thanks again.

A very nice spot in wheeling. Near Oglebay Park and very easy to get to town, the grove, or other nearby places. Plus fun activities to do at the house after a day of visiting extended family :)

Property was perfect for our family. So very convenient to Oglebay park and their facilities. Very clean witg about everything you could need/want for a relaxing time. We would book again if/when we return. The outside side space was perfect for children and adults to get fresh air and sunshine. The family area downstairs was great for gathering.

Wheeling was wonderful!

The house is perfect for a house full of people. Lots of bedrooms/beds (will need to share bathrooms). Basement is a HUGE selling point as folks can entertain themselves downstairs or just hang out. Close to the zoo and other points of interest!

This place has it all!

We had so much room with multiple outdoor porches, bathrooms, and indoor living space. The basement offers a great place to end the day with various games for our family to have friendly competition. We enjoyed Wheeling and were surprised by a fantastic zoo, friendly people, the dog track, suspension bridge and Center Market. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great house for famillies

Wheeling Feeling was a great house for a big group. It had a lot of sleeping areas and lots of fun things to do. It was well equipped with everything we needed and everything was labeled to make it easy to find. We were there for a wedding and didn't have much time to enjoy the amenities of the house or the location, but both are perfect. We would definitely stay here again if we get back to explore Oglebay and the surrounding area.

Great place to stay for Festival of Lights

Perfect amount of space and bedrooms for our family gathering to see the lights at Oglebay. Just a short drive down the road to get there. Kids loved the arcade game. Great Location

The house is very conveniently located in Oglebay! The bedrooms were comfortable, and there was plenty of space to spread out to play cards or billiards for at least three couples. Please note one of the full baths is in the basement/lower level, not connected with a bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped, but the bathrooms were not supplied with any soap, shampoo, conditioner, or other basic toiletries. Overall, a nice simple home, with a beautiful view out the back and very close proximity to all the Oglebay amenities.

The house was clean and that is important. However, the pictures were misleading as far as I am concerned. The cement work in the front of the house needs totaled replaced for safety reasons. Where there were 3 steps, there should have been a railing for safety reasons. There was no back yard because it was simply a cliff going downwards.As to my bedrooms in the center of the house. One bedroom had a bed that was extremely high. My bathroom on the second floor was a 1/2 bath and had no electrical outlet. I had to go down 2 flights to the bottom floor to take a shower; very strange and that bathroom also had no electrical outlet! This may not be up to code! The bottom floor had a smell such that my one son would not use it, so the family basically did not. However, my other son and I played pool for a few minutes. The pool table actually was large, but cheaply made such that it slantly a bit! The pool table was actually in a converted garage.As to the doors in the rooms, I could not help but notice how the hardware did not match and so it looked funny.Perhaps for 400 plus a night this was a deal; but I have been to Olgebay about 25 times in the last 25 years and this was the first time not staying in the lodge. While certainly not a terribly bad place at all ....... I am expressing my opinion as a landlord of 48 years who owns houses ........ just be advised that the photos can certainly be misleading. Overall, I give it a 4 on a 1-10 scale. Very clean!

Wheeling Feeling is an amazing house! The bedrooms are a nice size and the kitchen is well stocked. The game room really puts this house at the top of the list.
