A Modern Apartment on the Farm

Welcome to our private apartment on the farm. We are conveniently located approx. 14 miles from Zanesville, 17 miles from Newark, 20 miles from Lancaster and less than 7 miles off I-70. Port Columbus Int. Airport is only 36 miles away. A 35 mile drive will take you to the heart of the beautiful Hocking Hills. A day on Buckeye Lake is 15 miles away. Or you have all you need to never leave our property. Bring your own fishing gear for catch and release fishing from our pond. Sit on the porch and watch the sun rise or set. Take a walk along the fence row and enjoy the cattle grazing or scratch a pony on the nose. In the spring and fall, watch baby calves try out their legs. Our friendly farm dog will win your heart. End your day with a soak in the hot tub. You can order quality beef or fresh brown eggs grown on the farm to enjoy during your stay or take when you go. We have a furnished kitchen, free WiFi and a smart TV for your convenience. Although we will try to respect quiet hours, it is on the end of a working farm shop, and there may be times you hear the noise of farm equipment.

The cow paddy is sooo cute! The place was clean and homey. It provided the place to unwind, unplugg and relax. The hot tub was perfect, the home made bread was very tasty and add the perfect touch to our mornings. The hosts were very kind and easy to communicate with! Quick responses and very professional!We will recommend with this location to our friends and family back in Ohio!

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Cow Paddy. Dorcas provide for all of our needs. We were very comfortable in the well appointed apartment and greatly enjoyed the quietness and the scenery that the farm offers. No room for improvement in my opinion. If we're ever in the area again we will return!

Peaceful Farm Retreat with Modern Comforts

We stayed for just one night but absolutely loved it! The home was spotless and had a clean, modern feel while still capturing the charm of the countryside. Watching the cows from the hot tub was such a unique and relaxing experience, and waking up to the sound of them mooing in the morning really made it feel like a true farm stay. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful escape with a bit of personality!

Beautiful and peaceful Farm

The Cow Paddy is very clean, neat and well organized. The owners have it well supplied with everything one could need. She even left us homemade sourdough bread with butter and honey which was delicious. The view is relaxing and beautiful. Definitely recommend this place to stay to relax and unwind.

Country life

Cow Paddy is very adorable ! Loved watching the cows and relaxing. Cute little apartment that meet all of our needs! Fresh sourdough bread was on the counter upon our arrival which was delicious. Cinnamon rolls for our departure were top notch! If you like the country life worth a stay!

Relaxation on the Farm

The Cow Paddy was everything it advertised it to be. So clean and fresh. Sitting outside was so peaceful and relaxing. Fresh cut flowers on table and fresh bread on counter. I would recommend and also return.

Perfect Relaxing Place to Get Away!!!

This is such a beautiful and peaceful place! My wife and I were looking for a place to just get away from the hustle and bustle for a few days for our anniversary, and The Cow Paddy was the perfect place for that! The host family is so nice, and so was their dog, Dixie! We enjoyed our time in the hot tub, watching the cows and ponies, and I got to bottle feed a calf! D made this unbelievable loaf of sourdough bread too! I am already looking forward to going back again! Thank you for a wonderful few days!!

Relaxing Getaway

This property is awesome! It’s the best mix of feeling off grid but also not being too far away from things to do. On arrival the place was extremely clean and welcoming and gave my partner and I an immediate feeling of peace. Not to mention the communication with the host is top notch! We stayed 4th of July weekend and they let us know where we could go to see fireworks. Before we left for the park they informed us that their neighbor was putting on a firework show as well so there was no need to leave if we didn’t want to which was perfect since my my boyfriend and I both dislike crowds. We enjoyed fireworks from the hot tub and had a great weekend escape! Highly recommend!

Very nice

Came here for a night away in order to relax. The apartment itself was super nice and clean. Only complaint was the noise during the morning hours. You can hear everything in the shop connected. Overall though, super nice place to stay and the hosts were very accommodating.
