It was a lovely, clean and cozy home to stay in. Parking is tight but there are several options. Lots of information provided for food and activities around SLC. We would stay there again.
The home is cozy and cute, well decorated and functional. Plenty of room for us and close to downtown activities. Quiet street made for great nights. Would stay here again!
Great location! This house is minutes from some awesome restaurants and Liberty Park. We had plenty of space with the 2 bedrooms. Put a pack-n-play in one room with our young one. We brought our small dog so the crate and water/food bowls were a nice addition that we don't often see at vacation rentals. We went to Clark Planetarium and Tracy Aviary with the kids. Had no problems leaving our pup in the nice cool A/C cottage while we were away. Host was very responsive and cleanup/checkout was easy.
This was such a quaint cottage and we absolutely loved staying here. It was super conveniently located to a lot of popular spots in the city, but was still tucked away enough that it was quiet at night. I felt safe traveling with my 4 year old daughter. Camille was also very sweet and communicative throughout the entire trip. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed our stay in Salt Lake Cottage. The home was clean, well maintained and updated. We were very comfortable during our stay and our dog was happy too!The location was good with restaurants and coffee shops nearby.
This was an awesome little cottage and it worked great for us, our two adult/teen daughters and our pup. We have a daughter starting at the U of U in the fall and we needed somewhere to stay while we attended her orientation. The house was centrally located to so many great spots in downtown, was close to the university and was super comfortable. It was a hot weekend and the AC worked amazing which was surprising because itâs an older home. The place has been redone beautifully and I would highly recommend for anyone coming to downtown. The driveway is super tight so that was a little difficult but there is a lot one house down which worked great for us. 5 stars for sure!!
We had a lovely time. Nice and quiet and had more than enough creature comforts to make for a pleasant stay. Camille was also very friendly and responded promptly when we had questions. Thank you so much!
Camilleâs home was the perfect place to stay for our trip to SLC. It had everything we needed and was decorated beautifully. It was clean, comfy, and was in a great location to tour around. We would definitely stay here again if back in the area.
This property was clean, pleasant and perfect for our needs as an older couple. We stayed four nights and loved having a beautifully decorated spot with room for family visits. The fenced back yard made traveling with our pets easier. Would definitely stay again.
The place is immaculate on the inside. On the other side of the front of the property is a big electrical sub-station. Not a big deal, but worth knowing about. Also the driveway is very tight to get into and you might need to park a little walk away down the street. Not a big deal either. The host is super communicative and the home is so quiet and peaceful. I would definitely stay again.
This property is so beautiful and cozy! I had such a wonderful stay, I felt so at home. I loved that it was so pet friendly and clean. The neighborhood is quiet but close to everything you could possibly need. The owner is so helpful and friendly even though she's on the other side of the world. This is by far my favorite vrbo stay. I love the SLC area, I can't wait to stay here again!
Great for a shorter stay but not a working vacation
Camilleâs rental was overall good, but not quite a 5 star experience. On the plus side, the location was walkable to downtown and to Liberty Park and Harvey Milk Street. The bed was comfy and the back bedroom was dark and quiet at night. The backyard is tiny but good for potty breaks for the dog. And the kitchen was decently equipped with a full spice cabinet and enough pots and pans.
In terms of drawbacks, I cook a lot while on vacation due to food allergies, and I found the kitchen didnât really have any food storage because the pantry was locked as were a few large cabinets. So it was hard to have any room to store my own items.
The house is advertised as dog friendly, but my dog had a difficult time because she wasnât allowed on the furniture, and the living room rug was small and slipped a lot.
There isnât any work space but the dining room table, so if you intend to work, bear that in mind. That was my fault for not looking at the pictures sufficiently.
Camilleâs car was at the end of the driveway, which made accessing the backyard from outside impossible. Because we couldnât store a stroller in the backyard we made the mistake of putting it on the front porch and it was stolen overnight.
Finally, there was definitely some mold in the bathroom around the grout and ceiling above the shower.
Living this beautiful life as a travel ICU / ER nurse & sharing my home with you all! I love all things outdoors and want you to enjoy visiting my favorite city, Salt Lake!
