The Birdhouse. Studio apartment. Pets welcome, close to downtown and airport.
The Birdhouse is a comfy studio apartment in with a compact but full kitchen and a full bathroom. Enjoy the blackout curtains and turn on the (fake) fireplace.
It's just been remodeled so everything is new.
Just right for two lovebirds and your pets and an infant are welcome. Or it can be booked with the Treehouse that sleeps seven in the same building.
It's close to downtown, the airport, the Riverwalk, and the LDS temple. And a great stopping place on the way to Yellowstone Park.
The neighborhood and outside of the building look rundown, which was offputting at first. The driveway is a bit hard to get into without bottoming out. The stairway to the room could also use some work. The cameras in the stairway and driveway was a nice touch to make it seem safer. The room itself was nice. We enjoyed the stay, and it was relatively clean.
We didnât realize that this property was a multi-unit dwelling, and that the entrance would be shared with other occupants. The Birdhouse studio apartment was cozy, clean, and was just what we needed for our (1) night stay in Idaho Falls. We were very thankful for the washer and dryer in the unit to be able to pack light and do laundry halfway through our roadtrip.
Carol was so kind. The price seemed good on paper. On arrival, it was a real disappointment to say the least. It was clean and the reviews did state that the neighborhood was poor. We just didnât expect it to be so run down. The renters above us were up all night and it was a very noisy neighborhood. We would not stay there again.
Suite is above garage in a run down looking house. First impression was sketchy, but apartment was impeccably clean and quiet. About 12 blocks from downtown.
