A great cabin with an incredible view. We loved the morning sunrises and "river of clouds' moving through the valley below, then clouds gently coming up through the trees near the deck. One evening, enjoyed watching a doe and her baby graze in the area just behind the cabin for an hour or so into dark. The bedroom layout was great, though we stayed in the lower main bedroom suite. Kitchen had everything we needed and was well furnished. The drive up is challenging in some switchbacks but was certainly feasible (being paved was big benefit) and we were blessed to encounter little other traffic as we made our way up an down. Bryson City is just 5-10 minutes away. Would definitely consider staying here again if in the area.

Our family of five loved this home. The three bedrooms (one of which is a loft) gave everyone a proper bed. And all beds were comfortable. The views from the two decks were so beautiful and peaceful. The pictures were very accurate you do see all those peaks when you sit in the deck or stare out the large windows. Kitchen had everything we needed, including some spices too. And the grocery store was nearby making it easy to grab things when needed. We even enjoyed playing some of their board games. The cabin is not isolated, there is a cabin right next door. But we still felt like we had complete privacy, including when we used the hot tub.Highly recommend this cabin to others. Serene. Cozy. Clean. With nice decor. All around great.

Beautiful views! Master bed was so comfortable. Our main complaint is that the listing didn’t show a neighboring cabin so we were surprised to see one so close. Second complaint was that although the listing did say the road was winding and narrow, it didn’t say how bad it was. There really needs to be mirrors placed in the curves because you can’t see if anything is coming until it’s almost too late. Other than that we absolutely loved the cabin!

We had a great stay. Drive up was great and easy to get used to. Nice that we were close to a couple small towns for groceries and exploration! Very relaxing vacation.

The cabin is adorable. The kitchen is very well stocked and the entire cabin is very clean. The view of the mountains is beautiful.

Family Thanksgiving Getaway

The cabin worked great for our group of four adults and two children. It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pots and pans we needed to cook a good Thanksgiving meal.

The view was good, check in was good, and gas fireplace operated smoothly. Property was surfaced cleaned but not really clean. Dirty socks on a dirty shelf, door frames had what looked like chocolate on it, and lots of dust that was not main traffic areas. I spent 2 hours cleaning the cabin and could have spent more, and we replaced the light under the microwave that we were told the bulb was no longer available. Poorly lit for reading unless you wanted overhead lights. Worse was the urgent care visit for pseudomonus folliculitis from the hot tub that covered most of my body. I cannot understand why so many people gave this cabin a 10. Rental company is not resp for hot tub issues. I don't believe the water is checked between guests. Not sure what happened between the last guest and us, but here is where we are . Also, laundry room has water standing under the air handler and floor is buckled. If issues are resolved, this is truly a great lay out in a cabin. Maybe prior guests contributed to the hot tub issue. Unsure. The drive up is steep, but it is not that crazy if you just take your time and leave it in low gear.

The accommodation was great. We had fun exploring and looking at waterfalls. Rode the train and went to Gatlinburg.

Great getaway

Beautiful cabin with amazing views! The porch was wonderful for drinking coffee or reading a book. The hot tub was relaxing after a long day of exploring. WiFi was great, cooking was easy. Check in and out process was simple. We’ve stayed in many cabins and this is definitely one of the best!

The cabin was beautiful and the view was amazing!!! The road was very scary, especially at night. I was not aware of the road until after I reserved and paid for the cabin. It should be mentioned in the advertisement in case people don't have the vehicle for it especially in the winter. I almost stayed on the mountain and called for a rescue. Lol Just kidding. My family enjoyed the cabin and downtown Bryson City very much, and researching our family history.

Luxury Cabin

Our family can’t say enough about this property. The location was so peaceful and the views were amazing! The cabin was perfect for reconnecting yet spacious enough to allow for individual down time. The cabin was very clean, updated and overall gorgeous. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

The driveway was a bit daunting with a motorcycle but doable. Lovely cottage, very clean, amazing view. We are already talking about returning next year.

Beautiful home, elegant yet comfortable. This cabin is truly the best of all worlds.

Home is in a beautiful setting. There is a cabin right next to it which at first I thought objectionable but in realty never bothered me in the least. The cabin was very clean and well furnished and stocked with all necessities with the exception of food. Located in a convenient spot. Close to town yet secluded. Bryson City offers many attractions and the smokey mountain national forest with all the hiking and water fun right there Rental agent was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this cabin and area

OUTSTANDING PROPERTY AND VIEWS TO MATCH

THIS MOUNTAIN HOME IS OUTSTANDING! THE ROAD UP TO THE HOUSE IS WINDING , NARROW AND A BIT DAUNTUNG THE FIRST TIME UP BUT THE VIEWS FROM THE OUTSIDE DECKS ARE AMAZING. THE INSDE IS DECORATED FOR COMFORT AND RELAXATION AND THE BEDROOMS ALL HAVE GREAT BEDS AND BATHROOMS AND FLAT SCREENS IN EACH BEDROOM AS WELL AS IN THE GREAT ROOM AND THE TWO GAS FIREPLACES JUST MAKE IT PERFECT! WE ARRIVED WITH SMILES AND LEFT WITH SMILES AND WILL BE BACK AGAIN!

Stunning views

We really loved this place. The views were stunning. We could sit in that hot tub for hours and just look out at the stars. The sunrise over the mountains is breathtaking. Cozy bedrooms, nice bathrooms, a fun little firepit and BBQ for hanging out in the evening. Some folks complain in reviews about neighbors. The adjacent house was occupied, and we never heard a peep. YMMV Bryson is close, the NOC is close. Lots to do in the area. A well stocked kitchen (dishes, etc) if you want to stay in. Very recommend this rental.

Clean, Cozy and Comfortable Cabin

By far the best cabin I’ve stayed in. Extremely clean, no drafts or bugs. Perfectly laid out, spacious yet cozy. The downstairs has its own little private master bedroom oasis! With private hot tub access. Once kids are tucked away and asleep upstairs, time to make a drink and go downstairs to master bedroom with own private fireplace and private access to the hot tub. The kids loved making a fire outside and sitting around the fire pit! We only stayed a weekend but I feel like I was able unwind and relax enough!! I can’t say enough how much I love this place. This will be our forever cabin vacation spot. We can’t wait to come babk

This place was amazing! The views!!! Watching the mountains fade away at sunset from the hot tub or the sunrise from bed. The town and its people were amazing. The train ride was so fun! The hiking in the area was beautiful. The cabin has everything you could possibly need. Steve communicated almost instantly. So helpful. Additionally, I left some items in the bathroom, he called and we actually got to meet him. The drive to the cabin was curvy but not as bad as it sounded. Bryson Cabin

Cabin was filthy. Mice were getting on the counter and in our food. Hot tub and dirt at the bottom and water was cloudy/dirty. Someone with long blonde hair obviously had stayed there prior because it was everywhere. I don’t understand how the previous reviews state the cabin was very clean. It certainly didn’t get that filthy overnight.

Hello Kimberly, The horrible conditions you mentioned are beyond unacceptable! Your group stayed at Smoky Mountain Dawn over a month ago. I really wish you had brought this to our attention during your time there (or even filled in the online survey we emailed to you upon check out). We have a Pest Control Contract in place, and they inspect and treat the cabin quarterly. No one has ever seen/reported any mice problems. Additionally, the rest of the reviews rave about how Immaculate the cabin is because our Housekeepers do outstanding work. Prior to each check in, the cabin is cleaned and scrubbed from top to bottom, every square inch! We cannot do anything to correct an issue we are unaware of. It feels like we are not discussing the same property, but the Guest and Property names do match up.

Peace and Quiet - Relaxation

This cabin was perfect. We booked a week to get away from the city and hustle and bustle of our busy life. The house was very clean. The layout was great. The downstairs master was a perfect place for my husband and I to completely unwind. We had honemade spa nights, soaked un the hot tub and relaxed by the fire. The view is breathtaking, we watched the sunrise abd sunset. Cabin is just minutes away from all that you need in Bryson City. We will be back. This cabin has the peace and quiet and mountain views and plenty of wildlife to see....this is how we recharge and unplug from all electronics. We didnt want to leace.
