Chalet de trois chambres situé sur un terrain surdimensionné, parfait pour les enfants et les jeux de plein air. À quelques minutes en voiture ou à pied de la plage de Scarborough State. Apportez vos planches de bodyboard pour profiter des vagues sur cette plage surveillée avec un stand de concession, des salles de bains et des douches. Cinq minutes en voiture de la plage de Roger Wheeler State. Cette plage d'État propose également des sauveteurs, des douches, un stand de concession, une aire de jeux et des tables de pique-nique. La plage de Narragansett Town est à seulement cinq miles sur la route. Faites une belle descente sur la jetée de Narragansett. Regardez ou rejoignez le surf alors que beaucoup tentent de surfer sur les vagues. Vous trouverez également de nombreux excellents restaurants, notamment des cafés, des glaces et des sandwicheries. Il y a des magasins vendant des arts locaux dans ce domaine ainsi qu'une grande histoire dans les tours Narragansett. À seulement une demi-heure de route de Providence, où vous pourrez visiter le zoo de Roger Williams, faire l'expérience du feu d'eau de Providence ou profiter d'une journée au centre commercial Providence Place et au théâtre Imax. Quiet neighborhood, close to gorgeous beach!

My children and I loved this property! Super clean, well stocked, comfortable and convenient to everything. Big backyard with comfortable seating and an amazing outdoor shower. Property owner was very easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend this property.

Lovely cottage!

This house was the best rental we have stayed at in years, and we hope to return. The house was extremely clean, beautifully decorated and very spacious for our family with 3 children. The indoor space was so comfortable and we enjoyed the outdoor spaces -- the side porch, large yard and back patio -- very much. The house has everything a family could need, from cooking to cleaning to entertainment/tv needs, and was a nice walking distance to Scarborough Beach. The owners have done an excellent job of accommodating their guests!

Very Nice Beach Cottage

My family enjoyed our week in this cottage. Sized just right (Not too Big). Loved the Outside Shower!!! Nice back yard with morning sun to have coffee and shade later in day to grill for dinner. Convenient to Scarborough Beach and Point Judith. Recommend The Coast Guard House in Narragansett for happy hour music and drinks right on the water.

Excellent property, we've stayed on three other rentals on the same dead end street (we really like the area) and this is one of the best. Looking forward to rebooking next year.

We loved this house. It was clean, clean, clean and very well stocked. We walked back and forth to the beach each day and really enjoyed ourselves. Cute, quiet neighborhood. Thank you!

Our first impression of the cottage we felt was very nice. We have vacationed in the area for over 30 years and have rented from Durkin Cottages for 15-20 years. Unfortunately they had nothing available for that time frame with 3 bedrooms so we rented this cottage from VRBO. When we arrived there was a note on the kitchen table stating that sliding glass door was in need of repair, that it was functional but had to be lifted a bit to close and apologizing for the inconvenience. During our stay our hand/fingers would get pinched in the door when closing it from the porch side. The door had major damage to the bottom track, it was very much an inconvenience. We apparently were the only renters that had to be inconvenienced by the damaged door. The owner stated they dealt with the door the day we arrived and was fixed when we had left. The property listing states central air conditioning. That's not the case, the A/C unit was on the living wall which is also opened to the kitchen. The bedroom doors had to be left opened.with a fan to get the cool air into the back bedrooms. We had to clean and unclog the vacuum that was there to get it to work. We did enjoy the outdoor shower, that was very nice! Overall we made the best of it and enjoyed our vacation. Than a few weeks later we find out that the owners felt it necessary not to refund us our cleaning deposit, stating it took them over 2 HOURS to clean. That's the threshold for them (2 hours) to determine if they will give back the deposit. I asked for pictures and of course never received any. I stated before we have rented in that area for many years and never once had my deposits held or had to deal with major damage done to the property. The owners are very fortunate that we're not unscrupulous and filed a lawsuit for wrenched backs lifting that sliding glass door constantly. It definitely could have happened. On that note I feel the owners are extremely selfish and would never recommend them. I'm still waiting for pictures that required 2 HOURS of cleaning.

Great little house, convenient location

The house fit our needs perfectly. It's a beautiful home well appointed on a nice quiet street. It's a 5 minute walk to beautiful Scarborough beach. The owners are terrific to deal with. Quick response and easy communications made the trip a breeze. If you want to stay close to the beach in a great house, this is it! Thank you for a great vacation.

Very pretty and looks just like the picture.

On a whole very comfortable home to stay in.. Like the set-up of the home.As in all rentals couch was a little uncomfortable for us to sit and get out of but we both have trouble me with my knees and my husband with his hip.. All in all great little house to stay in and we liked that end of the beach. Only problem no hangers at all in the house and some pans not clean as they could be. We will recommend it and will probably rent again next year

Wonderful Rental!

What a lovely house! It was adorable, clean, and tastefully decorated. It is on a quiet dead end street, yet close enough to walk to Scarborough Beach. Alene was very responsive and wonderful to work with. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. There was even an extra set of batteries for the TV remote (which we wound up needing!), and takeout menus when we didn't want to cook. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you, Alene!

Great Beach House

The photos and details provided in the rental post were all right on. The house was very clean, super cute, and was an easy 5-10 min walk to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back next summer. The owners were very easy to work with and I could tell they really took the time to think of what they could do to make life easy on their renters. I would definitely recommend this house to a friend!

Beach Rental Perfection

We never wanted to leave! This house is cute, clean, and comfortable. We stayed here for a week and made the short walk to Scarborough State Beach every day. A quick drive to good dining, Narragansett Pier, Galilee, and Newport, but undoubtedly cozy enough to stay in and relax for the evening. Great porch and huge backyard with convenient large outdoor shower and clothesline. Overall this house is lovely and the owners are an absolute pleasure to do business with. This was truly a (beach) home away from home, and we will certainly be returning to this charming rental.

Perfect Beach Stay

The house was clean and neat upon arrival. Adorably decorated, unlike a lot of rentals we have stayed in where the furniture looks like trash, this house was curated with care. It was also stocked with everything you could need (except the linens - as stated in description), from ziplock bags to laundry detergent, all we had to buy was food! Overall everything worked out great for us and the walk to the beach was a short easy one. Highly recommend this house!
