In Shadyside, you can enjoy walking the beautiful tree lined streets to dozens of restaurants, coffee shops, shops, fitness studios, galleries, and much more! UPMC Shadyside & AHN West Penn hospitals are both a 5 minute walk away as well!
The apartment is perfectly located in the middle of both main shopping & dining centers in Shadyside: Walnut St & Ellsworth Ave. Both are just a two block walk away!
You’ll find the apartment fully stocked, with brand new cooking supplies, a premium Nespresso coffee and espresso machine, and 3 big screen 4K Roku TVs. Kick back and enjoy yourself in the living space, outdoor balcony sectional, or Nectar memory foam mattress, where you can enjoy all streaming services pre-installed as well as NFL Sunday Ticket, all streaming on the fastest available 1GB Verizon Fios fiber optic internet available in the area!

All pets are welcome! We only ask for a 1 time $30 additional cleaning fee, for the duration of your stay.

Room Descriptions:

The Balcony:
Walk up the stairs on the right side of the building (detailed directions & check in instructions to be shared when you make your reservation) to your private entry on the second floor balcony. There you will find the door is equipped with a smart lock for self check-in, as well as a Ring camera – your safety is our utmost top priority!

Kick back on the balcony in our spacious, 4 seater sectional. Enjoy the fresh air in a fully covered balcony, with a ceiling fan & light, perfect for movie nights and coffee in the mornings. You can enjoy relaxing and watching the big screen 4K Roku TV mounted on the exterior wall, with all streaming services pre installed and top of the line WiFi.

The Living Room:
The living room is stocked to be the perfect place for you to relax and enjoy your time. The 55 inch Roku smart TV has all of the streaming services pre-installed, as well as NFL Sunday Ticket! Enjoy streaming whatever you like, with room for up to 6 to find a seat. Enjoy the natural light from the huge windows, in a comfortable love seat with ample pillows and a throw blanket that centers the room, with a bench and high top dining table as well. Enjoy flipping through a book on Pittsburgh native pop artist Andy Warhol, or checking out one of the several books available in the unit. Playing cards are available for you to enjoy your company.
In the Living Room, you will also find a closet door that leads to a new stacked laundry machine, with enough detergent and dryer sheets provided for short or long term stays!

The Kitchen:
The entire unit is brand new construction, with the top of the line kitchen being the star of the show. The brand new appliances and gorgeous black and white granite countertop provide the perfect space for prepping anything and everything you’d like to cook. We’ve provided the locally famous Three Rivers Cookbook to inspire your culinary creations!
The kitchen is fully stocked, with brand new pots and pans, cookie sheets, plates and bowls, glasses, wine glasses, espresso & coffee mugs, mixing bowls and measuring cups, cooking utensils, a knife set, a can opener, cutting boards, a toaster, and more! We’ve also provided olive oil & nonstick cooking spray, as well as Stevia & Sugar packets for your morning coffee / espressos. Enjoy filling the space with the warm rich smells from your Nespresso machine. A range of coffee & espresso pod choices are available, with plenty for a short or long term stay! Enjoy your morning coffees and meals at the high top dining table, the perfect place to share a meal with your company.

The Bedroom:
The spacious bedroom has a queen sized Nectar memory foam cooling mattress that’s incredibly comfortable! In addition to Nectar’s memory foam pillows, additional pillows and blankets have been provided to ensure you get the best sleep possible. Kick back and watch a movie before bed on the 50” Roku TV mounted in the bedroom, or enjoy reading some of the books provided in the desk & dedicated workspace.
The bedroom also has a dresser, a shoe rack, and a huge 8 foot closet with plenty of room for all of your belongings, as well as a vacuum and broom/dustpan for your convenience. Extra linens and bedding are available in the closet as well.

The Bathroom:
This huge bathroom features beautiful ceramic finishes throughout, and has been stocked with all of the following essentials in personal sized bottles, just to make sure you are as comfortable as possible throughout your stay: Cera Ve Face Wash, Cera Ve Facial Lotion, Dove Body Wash, TRESemme Shampoo, TRESemme Conditioner, Neutrogena Makeup Remover, cotton swabs, Crest Mouthwash, Crest toothpaste, individually wrapped toothbrushes, feminine products, and a First Aid Kit! Plenty of fresh towels, toilet paper, and a blow dryer are also available for your convenience.
Guest access
With the Yale Smart Lock installed on the back balcony door, you can feel free to come and go from the building whenever you please, all with your own private entry!

In case of emergency, you can also exit the unit from a door that leads to a shared hallway, and taking the steps down to the front door. For your privacy & security, we have installed the Yale Smart Lock & Ring security system on the second floor balcony door, allowing for a private entry and exit. Detailed entry instructions with photo directions will be available at the time of check in.
Other things to note
This unit as explained above is on the second floor of the property, so please note that you must be able to go up one flight of stairs to access the unit. Photos of the staircase will be included in the listing.
