Mountain Fork River Cabin on 34 Acres 1 hr to Broken Bow and near UTV/ATV trails
At the end of a peaceful gravel road, behind a gated entrance, this Appalachian style log home sets on the bank of the beautiful Mountain Fork River. The 34 +/- parklike timbered acres give privacy and seclusion with no neighbors in sight. Located just 20 minutes from historical Mena, Arkansas and west of the town of Hatfield, you will love to call this place home for a weekend or longer. Sleeps 9 people. UTV/ATV trails close by.
Fully stocked kitchen, gas fireplace with outside firepit and swing. Access the river with 2 kayaks and canoe. Bring your fishing rods and catch some dinner. Walking paths on the property as well as hiking trails in the surrounding area. There is an open area close to the cabin to park a trailer and UTV/ATV but no UTV/ATV trails are on the property.
We really enjoyed our stay. The house is absolutely beautiful! The property is too. We were very pleased with the accomodations. We would not hesitate to recommend this place.
We very much enjoyed our stay, wish it could have lasted longer. House was spotless. Everything we wanted was provided. Recommending to friends going to western Arkansas.
This adorable cabin was fairly easy to find and felt totally secluded once there. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. Seven of us were comfortable, enjoyed the trails and the fire pit, and we all slept well. The water is much closer than it appears in the pictures. We will definitely return.
This year we split our Spring Break in half. We decided to find a remote location for the first half and then do some fly fishing in Beaverâs Bend for the second half. Beaverâs Bend has gotten so crowded that we wished weâd stayed here a bit longer. This was the first time we booked a VRBO that had no reviews but it looked nice so we took a chance. I found out after our trip that we were their first Vrbo inhabitants. Weâre glad we took the chance. The cabin and property were great. Very clean and a lot of very cool design details. Our Verizon service was awful there but their WiFi worked well. We spent a lot of time canoeing on the Mountain Fork River and our teenage boys had a blast roaming around the woods on the property and getting the fire pit going each night. Overall this was a great experience and Aimee was a great host and quick to respond if we had any questions.
This cabin was super easy to find and so pretty! We went the end of May with our family to kayak the Mountain Fork River! Even tho Iâm sure at one point it was doable to launch at the cabin we just felt it was easier and safer to find a spot up the road to put in due to the launch area at cabin was steep and narrow. Overall we had a wonderful time!! The beds slept amazing!!
