The most safe and convenient place in Livermore great for a family gathering or a group hangout. 4 bedroom and 2 full bath ranch house with a small patio and large backyard (access from the side yard). 800 Mbps wifi. Arroyo Trail nearby great for hiking and biking, or walking the dog. Walking distance to Downtown and Farmer' Market, Shops like Nob Hill grocery, Trader Joe's etc. Mins to famous wineries. There is a studio attached to the house but it has its private entrance, and share the laundry with the main house in the garage attaches to the main house. Across from the house is a church, and several houses down the street is the best High School in Livermore.
The property is advertised as great for families, but the host asked us multiple times over to assure her our kids would be quiet beginning the week of the trip, which made the trip stressful. There was no time to rebook. There were some unresolved issues with the smoke detector.
The home itself appears clean, but my feet were dirty from walking around barefoot (shoes are not allowed in the house which we did not know until arrival). The bathrooms had several hairs from the previous tenant- it was clear the mats were not changed and the bathrooms overall are not super clean (lots of pink goop in the showers, dust in the corners). There were also some dishes that were put away dirty. Nothing overly horrible, but just enough to be uncomfortable.
The decor is pretty and the blankets are soft. Just not the best experience if looking for a super clean and easy place to stay.
Couldn't use oven because door was broken. Sink in bathroom wouldn't drain. For 8 people only 4 wash cloths 4 hand towels 6 bath towels. 6 dinner plates. 2 flying pans.1 spaghetti pot. I was never told someone else lived in the house and had a dog in the back yard. I was sent a long list of "rules" 12 hours before check in and told I would be fined $500 if we broke any. I have a lot more complaints but those are the major ones.
