Thankyou for your hospitality it was a pleasant stay overall. the upstairs was a bit noisy but the accommodations were cozy and adequate. My adult sons were amused by your nostalgic gaming system and i was glad u brought us the crock pot and plenty of electric gadgets to do our cooking.

The place was exactly what we wanted. A cozy place for a family of four to sleep for a night. We enjoyed playing with the Atari, brought back childhood memories and was able to share some of those memories with the kids.

Very nice accommodation, my only issues were a slight sewer smell in the bathroom and very steep stairs going to the back yard. Mostly an enjoy stay.

Hi Cindy, I'm so sorry about the odor in the bathroom. It has been a bit of a problem lately, but I think we have solved the problem. We have a tank under the bathroom sink that pumps into the sewer line. Our trusty plumber told us about a product that our cleaners dump into that tank each time they clean, and it has taken care of the problem. The stairs are what they are. We do have a large sign posted at the top of the stairs to remind people that the steps are a bit steep, and mention the steep stairs in our listing information. Thankfully you don't have to use those stairs if you don't want to, because we have 2 doors leading to the outside and so guests can simply choose to use the other door. (:

The place is in good shape. Plenty of towels and blankets. However, the sheets smelled of old sweat in the beds. The couch was hard and uncomfortable to sit on. As we sat it was not great back support. I suppose this was not our favorite because it was missing a laundry, stove, oven, and the fridge was too small for our leftovers. There were not enough cooking amenities in the kitchen we have come to expect when we stay in a Verbo. Only salt pepper and meet tenderizer.The ceilings were low and stairs steep on one side and too shallow on the other. I would not describe this place as Gorgeous. However, the host was helpful and friendly and answered our questions. She was very kind.

Hello Lauri, we do clearly list in our booking that our place only has a kitchenette. No stove or oven. We not only list all of these things that you complained about, but the pictures clearly show that there is no stove or oven and shows the small refrigerator. As well as listing that there is no washing machine or dryer. It seems unfair to rate us poorly because of these things when they are clearly explained. Even the low ceilings and steep stairs are clearly explained in our listing. With these things in mind we have priced our place accordingly. Our sheets are washed with laundry soap and bleach after every stay so this seems strange to say that the sheets smelled. So sorry that you found our couch uncomfortable, but it is brand new. Nice and clean and in good shape. Perhaps you should read the listing details and look at the pictures before you book a place.

We had some trouble getting in, but once that was sorted out all of our communication with the renter was very nice! Overall it was a very comfortable space that had everything we needed. Definitely a good value.We were in a basement unit, which there's no problem with, though the upstairs unit had children that ran around for hours and it was definitely loud and disruptive. So your experience may vary dependent on the group renting the upstairs. Also the ceilings are rather low, so if you're tall you'll have to do some ducking. As long as you're chill this is a great place to stay.

Beautiful home away from home! From the colors in the rooms to the motivational messages on the walls to the very comfortable beds, I would say this is a place of comfort and a wonderful stay! We only used this facility for sleep and rest. We spent all our time visiting family in the area. Wished the coffee maker worked but we got coffee on our way to my Uncle's home. The upstairs vistors also smoked on the stairs so that all drifted downstairs to our entrance doorway. But other than that, we appreciated the stay. My mom and sister felt cold when upstairs got to control the temperature while we had to deal with it.

So sorry that the coffee maker wasn't working properly. The only way we know about problems like this is when we hear from our guests. I have ordered a new one. We do not allow smoking on the front porch for reasons such as this. We could have helped out if you would have notified us. We could have reminded the upstairs guests of our rules, and I'm sure the problem could have been resolved. We do have some nice heaters in each bedroom and a larger fireplace heater in the great room that when used heat the entire basement quite nicely. Maybe you didn't notice them. It's always a good idea to contact us hosts when you have concerns. We love to help out our guests! Thanks for staying at our place! (:

Quiet neighborhood near Weber State

We came into town for a football camp for my son and found this perfect place near Weber State. For some reason I never got the email from VRBO about check in, but reached out to Dennise and she was kind a very quick to respond with check in info. While we didn’t bring any fur babies with us on this trip, this is a lovely pet friendly property. The lowered ceilings might be an issue for people over 6’, but was perfect for us. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this property! Thank you Dennise!

Location, Location, Location! Very near Weber State University and McKay-Dee Hospital. Minutes away from amazing mountain hiking & biking trails. Only 30-45 minutes from some of the best skiing anywhere at Snow Basin, Powder Mountain, & Nordic Valley. Easy freeway access to Park City, Hill AFB, Salt Lake City, and everywhere in between. Close to shopping & dining in every direction. Just five minutes from downtown Ogden. Also, easy access to public transportation, if needed.

Great Gathering Place! Large Open Concept Great Room Area. Larger kitchen table with seating for 6. All mattresses are newer and of very high quality, so you'll sleep extremely well here. Safe, family-friendly neighborhood.
