Charmed @CherryHideaway - 1970s Vintage Modern - Mountain A-Frame - Dog Friendly
Welcome to our casual-luxe, dog friendly, mountain cabin in the heart of Appalachia. Part of the Hound Ears Club community, it is a great location to enjoy everything the High Country has to offer. Take the boulder garden stairs through whimsically arched rhododendrons to our charming 1970s vintage A-Frame. Artfully designed modern interior, functional, private, and peacefully immersed in nature. Put on a record, relax on the deck, sketchbook, explore, play games by the fire. High speed internet, Smart TVs.
Gated community with lush well kept grounds, 24 hour security and winter road maintenance. Unique property with towering 15ft boulders supporting and surrounding the cabin. Grandfather Mountain view’s throughout the neighborhood and a peek from the property. Diversely forested private lot with hemlock, black walnut, dogwood, pine. Bird watchers will enjoy downy woodpeckers, hummingbirds, chickadee, cardinals, owls, titmouse, jays and others!
Downstairs bedroom has vintage shutters and a king sized sleep number bed, down alt. cloud comforter and cotton sheets. Full bathroom with charming blue vintage tiles. Towels and bathrobes provided. Modern renovated kitchen including oven, disposal, toaster oven, coffee maker, dishwasher, microwave and a fun new vintage style fridge. Stocked with anything you’d need to host. Cabinet space for pantry items. Stone counter with peninsula seating. Dining space features local photography over the large wooden dining table that seats 8+. Living space centers a black leather couch and floor cushions by the gas fire. Turn on a record, play a game together, curl up and watch a movie. Velvet chair window lounge/plant solarium for bird and weather watching. Upstairs to the right holds the largest bedroom with 2 queens, reading nook with vintage lamp, smart tv, and vanity space.
