The location of this property was fantastic and the house was quite comfortable for my family of 4 (2 teenage sons) plus one visiting girlfriend. We enjoyed endless walks on the ever changing tidal flats and the sunsets (at the beach,) sunrises (from the deck,) and clear starry nights were breathtaking. It's a birder's paradise right on the salt marsh, but I even watched a coyote wander through early one morning. It was easy to visit any other part of the Cape and to catch a ferry to the islands. There are bike/kayak rentals nearby for the rail trail & to explore Paine's Creek. The dirt road adds to the off-the-beaten path feel. Only negative were the evening sand fleas on the beach. Recommended restaurants: Fin in Dennis for a more elegant meal, Stone l'oven for pizza, Picos Tacos, and The Island Blue Crab.
Tucked between sunrise marsh view from the back deck and sunset at the bay this is a very sweet spot with expected beach cottage quirks. The Brewster flats off season with a dog are a real treat - with nearby hiking trails and star gazing views for full nature immersion!
We had a wonderful time, the weather was amazing! The location was perfect! This is a perfect place if you are into birding! We cooked in every night, the kitchen is well equipped! We had leisurely dinners and enjoyed the views and the company.
This cottage is amazing - everything about our stay was wonderful. Beautiful view; beautiful neighborhood. The cottage was perfect. It was just the two of us, but there is plenty of room for a few more guests. We had a lovely time. Highly, highly recommended!!!
Beautiful views of the marsh and ocean. A three minute walk to Paineâs creek, our favorite beach. We took a few days during April school vacation to come down and get our fix.
Beautiful view from the living room and back deck.
The neighborhood was so pretty and Paines Creek just amazing.
We hit a rainy week but still enjoyed walking down to Paines Creek and up to Lower Rd and exploring locally.
Would definitely comeback.
We really enjoy staying at this house during April vacation. Paineâs Creek beach is the best. Beautiful views of the marsh and sunrise from the new deck. There were 4 of us and we were very comfortable. Itâs our 4th or 5th time staying here.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect and the house had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the large deck looking out over the marsh. The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had. We cannot wait to rent here again! Thank you!
We had a another wonderful stay in this
quintessential Cape cottage in the best location.
Such beautiful and peaceful views of the marsh.
We spent hours walking the flats with our grandson and dog. Thank you, Daneen!
We stayed here our young family. The house was perfect: in a quiet neighborhood, easy walk to the beach, and great location to local attractions. The kids loved exploring the creek during low tide looking for sea creatures. The bay side beach at high tide is perfect for young ones who do not like waves.
We had an amazing time in Cape Cod and this house was perfect for our needs. It sits in a nice, quiet neighborhood in a quaint town. The beach was so close it was easy for our 5 year old and 2.5 year old grandchildren to walk on their own. The view from the deck was beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed.
Loved our stay especially the deck and the view. The kitchen faucet leaked and needs to be fixed so as not to waste water. Also the screen door needs to be replaced because hard to slide it open and closed. But otherwise couldnât have been a better stay. We loved it!!!
We really enjoyed our stay in your sweet Cape cottage! Great location and the view from the deck was lovely at all times of day. The deck was also great for bird watching especially in the morning. Paineâs Creek beach is never disappointing and it is the best place for sunsets!
We will definitely be back and highly recommend this lovely spot. Thanks Deneen!

Love this place!!! 2nd year visiting. Comfortable house with everything you need. The location is the real treat. Great view, proximity to water and neighborhood for dog walking. Wish there was nightstand with light on both sides of bed and washer and dryer just "okay." Small concessions for this gem. Will return!!@!!
you truly could not find a house with a better location than this cute cottage. daneen made the whole process easy and seamless, from booking to check in / check out. we called her about a few things and she was attentive and accommodating to all our needs. the house was a littlee small as we were 6 adults staying, but we knew it probably would be going into it, and the location truly makes it worth it. so much so that we would love to rent this house every year that we return! thanks for an unforgettable stay, daneen!!
We were only in Cape Cod for two nights and wanted to stay in an authentic Cape Cod house (california native here). The location was absolutely beautiful- marshy area behind the house that entertained us with all the birds and a very short walk down the street to the beach.
Daneen was available via text when we had questions and was very responsive even though she was on her own vacation at the time. It rained the one full day we were there, and she offered a late check out to us so we could try and see some sights before leaving.
The house is very comfortable, more than enough seating for the four of us in the living area and at the dining table.
If we ever find ourselves in Cape Cod again, I would love to stay here again.
Overall the property was in a great location, beautiful views and laid out nicely.
We were staying in Brewster to be with family during the Thanksgiving holiday. Very cute little bungalow, the colors are light and bright. I was able to host a cocktail party for the family which was lovely (all the items that were in kitchen accommodated our needs).
There are a few things that need some attention, in the half bath in master BR there needs to be a towel bar - no place to hang a hand towel or face cloth. It rained during our stay and the car was surrounded by water and very muddy. Because we were on a 3 week trip I needed to wash our cloths, which going down the basement is no big deal except the light was burned out and the area around washer and dryer needed to be cleaned.
Jim and Daneen Law live in Orleans where they raised their four, college aged, children. Daneen is a native of Cape Cod, grew up in Truro and works as a Realtor for Gibson Sotheby's International Realty. Jim grew up in CT, summered all of his life on Cape Cod in this beach cottage which has been in his family for over fifty years. Jim is an entrepreneur who has business offices in Dennis. They are fortunate to call Cape Cod their year round home and love what each season has to offer. They, like many, are particularly fond of the summer months as most of their family time is spent boating out of Pleasant Bay in Orleans.
This property has been in the Law Family since 1968. In 2014 it underwent a large renovation including new windows, central air, updated baths, furnishings and decor.
