Welcome to our stylish and spacious 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom, 2-story shotgun-style home nestled in the heart of New Orleans! Our charming duplex offers a unique blend of historic charm and modern convenience. With a loft-style third bedroom, a private fenced yard, and a prime location, this is the perfect home base for your New Orleans adventure.
Step into our thoughtfully designed home and be greeted by a cozy living area on the first floor. The open-concept layout seamlessly connects the living room to the fully equipped kitchen, creating a welcoming space for you to relax and entertain. Original hardwood floors and stylish decor add a touch of New Orleans flair to your stay.
The kitchen is a chef's delight, complete with modern appliances and all the essentials for preparing delicious meals. Whether you're dining in or exploring the city's renowned culinary scene, this kitchen has you covered.
Through the living and kitchen area you'll find two well-appointed bedrooms with comfortable beds and ample storage space. The bathroom is conveniently located on this floor, offering both style and functionality.
Ascend the staircase to the second floor to the third loft-style bedroom on the upper level, providing a unique and private retreat. Enjoy the charm of exposed beams and a cozy atmosphere in this distinctive bedroom.
Step outside to discover a small private fenced yardâa perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or unwind with a glass of wine in the evening. The outdoor space provides a tranquil escape within the vibrant city.

Immerse yourself in the rich culture of the city, with easy access to popular attractions, renowned restaurants, and vibrant entertainment. Whether you're here for the music, the food, or the lively atmosphere, you'll find it all just steps away from our doorstep.
From beautiful sights, taste bud tingling foods, and vibrant live music, who wouldnât want to visit?! We recommend using public transportation, including streetcars, buses, Uber or Lyft during your stay. For another fun way to explore the area, try Blue Bikes, a ride sharing bike rental all around the city. If you do end up driving in, there is plenty of street parking available near the home.
Street parking is available on a first come first serve basis.
**There is a $200 security/damage deposit collected 3 days prior to arrival, and returned shortly after your stay. This is done as a $200 hold on your method of payment, not a full charge. Please see the rental agreement (required to be read and signed before booking) for more details. ***
1. The booking guest must have their ID uploaded to their airbnb profile.
2. Please be mindful of the neighbors sleeping. We recommend being quiet after 8:30pm (weekdays including Sundays) and 9:00pm (weekends).
3. While early check-in / late checkout may be available, this must be arranged ahead of time for an extra fee. Unauthorized Late checkouts are a $50 charge for each hour after 11am - a 15 minute grace period is given. Late checkouts MUST be requested before 9PM the day before your departure.
4. Clean towels are a provided amenity. Each guest listed through your reservation will receive 1 bath towel and 1 face towel. We are unable to fulfill requests for additional towels during the duration of your stay. Plan ahead while packing, please bring extra towels if you or any of your guests anticipate needing more.
5. Smoking & vaping in the unit will result in a $500 deodorization fee. Please smoke outside of the property.
6. Unregistered guests and parties are prohibited by local laws and ILLEGAL. Our occupancy limits are set by local ordinance. Any guest found to have had a party or over-occupancy will be charged a $1,000 fee for non-compliance with local laws. Exterior cameras present at the property to verify these laws/house rules are not broken. As of May 2022, Airbnb has specifically banned parties from their units. Violation of this rule will result in a ban from Airbnb.
7. Please do not hang or attach anything to the walls with push pins, tape, etc. or other painted surfaces.
8. Please do not use face towels to remove makeup.
9. If the space is left excessively dirty $50 will be charged for each additional hour of cleaning required. Removal of bodily fluids will result in a charge of $150. Glitter cleanup will result in a charge of $100.
10. Unauthorized pets will result in an additional $250 deep cleaning cleaning fee and immediate request to leave. Pet Boarding recommendations available upon request. Both the owner and staff have pet allergies. If traveling with pets please inquire about our pet friendly units.
11. After youâve read these rules, please send me a message with the words âyellow kangarooâ it will let me know that you have read the rules thoroughly.
12. Unfortunately, we cannot accept bookings from âLocalsâ at this time. Locals is meant to include anyone residing within 60 miles of New Orleans.
13. While we cannot receive any mail or packages to the space we will assist with getting packages shipped to New Orleans if needed.
14. Commercial video and photo shoots are strictly forbidden without prior and authorized consent. Associated day-rate fees, liability waivers and copyright contracts will apply if consent is given.
15. Message us for long term stays.
16. Trash day is Thursday. Please bring trash can to the curb, thank you!
17. All of our TV's are streaming, we do not provide any account information, you will have to log into your own. Please remember to log out at check out. We do not have cable TV.
18. RVs / Campers / Trailers are not allowed on the premises.
19. External power outlets can not be hooked up to the property under any circumstance.
20. Should you wish to receive an early check-in or late check-out, please let us know the day before and we will determine if it's possible. We require time to prepare the unit for your stay or after your stay for the next guest and sometimes we are unable to accommodate. If we can accommodate, we will charge $25/hour for the additional booking time. This will also be in place for dropping luggage off or leaving your luggage after checkout time has passed. Payment will be requested through Airbnb after your additional time has been approved.
21. Lost Items: We return lost items for a $75 flat fee. This is to cover shipping costs, along with the time spent to retrieve & mail your item. If you leave anything at the unit, please let us know immediately.
