Perfect get away

House was as advertised. Very clean, updated, and easy check-in/out process. To make it even more special, there were treats and delicious homemade cookies waiting for you at check-in. I highly recommend this. We will be back next fall!!

Quaint Happiness

Overall, quaint and cute place to stay. Was super close to my family who lives in Hicksville so that made it all the better. Easy check-in and check-out plus there weren't 1000 things that had to be done before check-out; just common sense ones like taking trash out and removing bedding/towels to a central location. I'd give an extra plus just for that! Overall, very nice stay and definitely would book again.

Very nice!

The house was close to town but still out in the country. It was very quiet. We enjoyed watching the deer from the front porch. The house was VERY clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. The whole property was very well maintained. Owner was quick to get back with you. A really nice place.

Wonderful stay

Our family enjoyed the stay at Sonrise Cottage. The house was very clean and well appointed. We’ve come away with some wonderful decoration ideas to even use at home. The warm cookies upon arrival were a special treat after our 4 hour drive. Has the weather been drier and warmer we would have enjoyed being outside for a walk, grilling, and an evening bonfire. We will definitely consider staying here again. Sincerely, A very happy family

Sunrise Cottage is a gem - it is cozy and beautifully decorated. You will find everything you need for a great stay with a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer are an added bonus as well as books, games and movies to keep you entertained. I grew up in the area and the list of things to see and do included a few things I didn’t know about! We have stayed in many rentals and this is the best one ever. You will enjoy your stay and the responsiveness of your hosts! We will be returning for sure.

Cozy and comfy little cottage!

This little cottage was so comfortable and convenient to my daughter and her family in Edgerton. I was nominated to take the top bunk in the 2nd bedroom. Wasn’t expecting to sleep that great but was so surprised. The mattress was fantastic!!! I slept wonderfully! All of us did. Beautifully decorated. Very clean. Fresh cupcakes to welcome us when we arrived. Lydia was excellent in her communication with us. Our only issues were things that couldn’t be helped. We are city people and are not used to well water so the slight sulphur smell bothered us a little. We were also there during some of the coldest days of the year. The rooms were warm but the floor was cold. Easily fixed with some nice comfy thick socks from the local DG Market. Overall it was a fantastic place to stay!

We are a happy family of 5. Some of our favorite pastimes are disc golfing, swimming, hiking, cookouts, traveling, and learning new things!

This area is peaceful and beautiful, with plenty of open space. You may see buggies, as it is Amish country. It's also home to wildlife, including white tailed deer, foxes, and bald eagles. It's in a central location with plenty to do within a short drive.

This lovely cottage used to be our home. We have poured lots of love and time into the place. We have many happy memories there, we hope you make some too!
