Overall this was a wonderful place to stay. It was clean, easy to get to with the instructions that we're sent. The shower pressure was exceptional.

This was a return visit in 2025. Good parking available. Close to the Metro, so we parked and walked and rode public transport around town. We had breakfast foods in-house but ate other meals out. Very comfortable and enjoyable.

My husband and I took our children to Washington, DC for a few days and the apartment was a great option for our stay. We had a nice parking spot at the property, easily walked to the metro to travel the city, and had all the basic necessities for our visit. Everything was clean, quiet, and private. We would definitely stay here again if we visit the area in the future!

Nice place

The accommodations were clean and had everything we needed. The shower was roomy and had great water pressure. We were a five minute walk to the metro and there were several restaurants in the vicinity of the metro station. Was easy to navigate the metro and get to the capital area within about 30 minutes.

Absolutely beautiful property

Good location in proximity to public transportation, private, easy to find. Quiet street and easy car sharing pick up. Unit is exactly as described and very clean.

We really liked the property. Clean, good bed. Easy to Uber to the Capital area. Only one thing more...whatever the upstairs family is cooking you get a really good smell of it. We had garlic air freshener for 2 nights and fish aroma on the 3rd but we would still stay there again.

Great place, great location

My husband and I stayed here for three nights. The apartment is well air conditioned and ventilated. There are plenty of pots and pans and also a couple cookie sheets if you want to cook. We did not do any cooking.. We would definitely come again.

Reasonably priced. Location worked well for our needs. Two rugs had edges that had rolled up and were serious trip hazards. Bathroom could have been cleaned better.

First Trip to DC, Would stay here again

Our party of three enjoyed staying at this basement apartment. It is walking distance to the Brookland (5 min) train station. Very quiet neighborhood.We could hear the footsteps of the upstairs tennants some (it wasn't a problem for us). Rental is clean and has good ammenities. Kitchen had adequate dishes and utensiles, but is not set up for cooking much more than soup or frozen pizza. Overall we liked it and would stay here again if we came back to DC.

Perfect!

Perfect for a long weekend in DC. We did not have a car but rode public transportation and walked everywhere. Everything we needed was easily accessible: coffee shops, grocery stores, restaurants, entertainment. Christopher was very communicative. The apartment was perfect! Clean, comfortable, well-appointed. Nice neighborhood (and had space for a car). We were less than 30 minutes from the Smithsonian museums and enjoyed our days there touring Arlington Cemetery, the Holocaust Museum, taking a ghost walk, eating out, and enjoying a couple of musical concerts. The Metro system was very easy.

Nice space with parking near metro

This space was a good place to stay while I worked on the Hill for a week. It is only a few stops on the metro away. It's bright for a basement.The rug in the living room is curled really bad and a tripping hazard. The bathroom and floors could have been cleaner. Unfortunately after a long week of work, our last night the long term tennant upstairs had a party. The party was in the advertised backyard and the unit right above us so it was quite loud. We had an early travel day the next day so not only were we not able to come back and rest peacefully after a long week but we also couldn't sleep due to the noise level. I hope host will consider coordinating future parties with tennant to avoid nights guests may need some rest.
