INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens & towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Our first vacation since 1972. A belated 50th anniversary getaway

The unit (1902) was very clean & comfortable. The beds were so comfortable especially a long drive ( West Jefferson, Oh). The view was incredible and the beach was great.

This condo was perfect for our family! The number of beds in the second bedroom was exactly what we needed. The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. The owner was great to deal with. Would definitely book here again!

The property is located on the less crowded, west end of the beach. The keyless entry was so convenient. The views were spectacular. Everyone was kind and helpful. We plan to return to Emerald Isle soon.

Awesome place

Everything was great. We have stayed in Panama for the last 11 years. We have always stayed at the Calypso because it’s across the street from Pier Park. Glad we switched to Emerald Isle mainly for hot tub and heated pool. Parking spot is amazing although small. We would for sure book another vacation here.

Awesome condo on the west end of front beach road! Totally quite and easy to get in and out of traffic flow! Love booking with Helen she is prompt and trust worthy, quick with response and makes sure your stay is wonderful! We book with her twice yearly and have always been 100% HAPPY with our stay!! Tastefully decorated

Not your typical beach decor. Very tasteful decor. Very clean and comfortable. Great place to stay. Only complaint was there was something unidentifiable and smelly in the kitchen disposal and bathroom sinks drained very slow. Small issues and would stay here again! Owner very responsive!

Ocean View Condo

This property has a magnificent view of the ocean. The place was spotless and very clean. My only suggestion is that they upgrade the mattress on the pull out couch. It wasn't very comfortable. That being said, I would definitely recommend this place and I would certainly book it again.

Wonderful!

The view from the balcony was amazing. I did stress a bit having 2 small children and worrying about them accidently dropping things over. The kitchen had everything we needed. The decor was nice and beachy and had enough seating for all of us. It would have been nice to have a smart TV so that we could watch Disney+ and Netflix. Nice to have laundry right there! Thanks for a great stay!

EXCELLENT

This is an excellent condo. Great location (close to all the hot spots in PCB), great condo (amazing view, very clean and easy check in) and working with Helen was wonderful! I have a special needs son and the walk in shower (with a handrail) was a Godsend. Also, kudos to Helen for working with me on a special request for my son. JUST AWESOME about everything with this condo. Highly recommended!

Perfect getaway!

We wanted a place to stay where we didn’t have to get out and fight crowds. The unit is spacious, clean and comfortable. We had beach chairs with an umbrella available every day and vigilant attendants that checked on us occasionally. I was able to cook in a well stocked kitchen and also eat out or get delivery super easy. I wish I never had to leave! The covered parking was nice although the space was pretty tight to get in and out of. The beach is gorgeous and we had perfect weatger and water. I will return!

Spring Break Trip

This place is great! The views are spectacular! The beach was clean and beautiful! The 2 beach chairs are a perk and you can rent more if you need more! It’s a quiet area of PCB but close enough to action if you want to be part of that. And definitely in walking distance to conveniences; shopping (tourist shops), restaurants (Coconuts is great), and a couple convenience stores. Pier Park is about 2 miles away and there’s lots of parking. We saw dolphins from the balcony! The pools are clean, one freezing, and one heated. And the hot tub is also clean and really hot and big! Lots of seating around all! I definitely recommend this place. It was very spacious for our family of 4.

Great stay for 4

Everything about this unit was great! We had no problems checking in, finding parking or accessing the beach and pool. The building was quiet and location was ideal. Upon arrival, there were 2 light bulbs that needed replaced, and it was taken care of quickly. Only issue was the sleeper sofa. It smelled bad .. like dead fish. I didn’t say anything because I didn’t think it would be a quick fix. Fortunately, we had brought an air mattress. Even if we had used the sofa bed, the unit was a little small for the 5 of us. Otherwise, everything was great!
