The place was perfect for a fall weekend getaway. We hung out at the house and enjoyed the use of the fire pit, hot tub and game room for a majority of the stay. There was plenty of fridge space and cooking utensils to cook meals in. The beds were comfy. The overall area was relatively quiet from what we noticed, and it feels like you are in your own little world on the property.While there we visited Blue Ridge Winery, which I would encourage all wine lovers to visit.

We loved staying at this place over the long, holiday weekend. It was a great place for several families (one with a baby, and two others with pets) could all get together and have a good time, whether it was relaxing in the hot tub and sauna, having a family meal on the BBQ, playing in the game rooms, or enjoying the fire pit, it was a great stay. The host was also easily accessible for any questions, and provided a really useful guestbook with information and recommendations in the area. Would highly recommend.

We had a group of 10 guys and felt completely comfortable in the house. The location was perfect for our golf trip and we absolutely enjoyed the house. The communication with the host was outstanding. There is nothing I would change about the experience! Kudos to your team!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was exactly as described—clean, spacious, and very comfortable. It was centrally located, making it easy to get everywhere we wanted to go, and the amenities made our stay even more enjoyable. Everything was well maintained and thoughtfully equipped. We enjoyed our stay. It rained mostly every day, but we were able to do most of the activities we wanted to. House was lovely but pictures on website were misleading.Noise from interstate left enjoying the deck hard.

The house is beautiful. While there are other homes close by its location makes you feel isolated and you have the mountain to yourself. I have used other properties with VRBO and I can honestly say the host would respond to any questions I had almost immediately. You won't be disappointed with your stay

Well equipped. Reasonably clean. Very comfortable. TVs kept flashing black, which matters if you're playing games or using the TVs a lot.

The house was wonderful. We had no complaints with the house. However, the house is within the Split Rock area and listed the Split Rock amenities as options. Much of Spilt Rick seems to be shut down and we were not able to enjoy those amenities. The roads within the Split Rock community are not well maintained and the pot holes made navigating back to the house in the dark tricky. The house itself is a wonderful getaway for a family with young kids.

Great house for a long weekend getaway. Was perfect for 2 separate families with kids ranging from 10 to 17. Home was stocked with everything needed and the host was extremely responsive. Great location to get to Big Boulder and area restaurants. The golf clubhouse in the neighborhood had great food too. Would def stay here again!
