Trois chambres, 2 1/2 salles de bains, deux coin repas, deux salles de séjour, cheminée, deux grandes terrasses avec bain à remous surplombant la rivière, jacuzzi, blanchisserie, Charcoal Grill, Fire Pit, et River Beach.

La maison est très confortable et propre. Il est nouvellement meublé et équipé avec de nombreux extras pour profiter du grand air. Les cannes à pêche, frisbee, fer à cheval ciel, le football, et wiffle billes / chauves-souris.

La maison peut accueillir 9 personnes confortablement. 1- Chambre de la Reine,
plafonds voûtés, vue sur la rivière. Chambre 2- complet, meubles anciens.
Chambre 2- complets / lits jumeaux superposés et un lit de repos avec un lit gigogne &
Lit enfant.

Nous avons plusieurs membres de la famille qui sont allergiques aux chats et aux chiens, donc pas d'animaux admis, désolé.

Aucun permis de fumer dans la maison.

Exactly what we were looking for!

The place and location were great! Well stocked and fun for the kids. Fishing was awesome! Would like to come back in warmer weather too.

River retreat!

We had a great time at the house. There was plenty of hiking nearby. The house was very clean and well supplied. The beds were comfortable and the view was great! Our only disappointment was that we didn't realize there was no cell phone coverage. The wifi worked well!

Fun Winter Weekend with Friends

Our group was looking for a fun winter weekend in WV and found this great property just outside of Elkins! The house had plenty of room for our group of 7 and had a great, private location along the cheat river. We happened to be staying when a winter storm hit, which made the weekend much more interesting! Luckily, the host was very helpful and communicative to ensure we had a great weekend! We’d love to stay here again - though maybe in the summer next time!

The place was everything and then some. We have stayed at several places over the last 12 years and this was the best place for sure. We will hopefully be renting again for fall trip and next year spring trip

Perfect location to unwind and reset.

The Riverstar is such a beautiful home and property. The house and grounds are well maintained and very clean. The property owner is very polite and helpful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay!

Beautiful house, great location......overall excellent experience..enjoyed every minute...will definitely consider booking again in the future...would love to live there....the whole experience was perfect. The house was not clean. The entire house, along with the bed, had an unpleasant smell, especially the furniture, pillows, rooms, and bed sheets.

Great family getaway

Property was easy to find very accommodating and spacious. My family is on year 3 of a family trip in or new at Elkins area and we have decided this is the perfect fit. The hot tub was large the yard and fire pit super nice and plenty of games like Cornhole to play. Right by the water so if you want to fish/swim. We will be back next year for the annual trip!

Our family experienced the most wonderful weekend at this river house. Patti was an excellent host who answered all of our questions quickly. The house was clean and perfectly equipped for our weekend and we will definitely be back!

Another amazing stay

This place is amazing. The house is well stocked with cooking utensils and towels and even some firewood for a small fire. We love staying here for our annual girls trip. The hot tub is amazing with the views of the river. Unfortunately we didn’t get much fishing in because the river was high but we enjoyed our time anyway. The host is great with getting back to us. We had zero issues except we didn’t want to leave 😊.

Beautiful river retreat

Wish we had stayed longer. It is a clean and well organized home in the perfect location! The river was great for both the kids and adults. Only issue was some of the screens had small holes which we didn't realize until some bugs got it. It was an relaxing retreat where we could have fun and feel safe.

Absolutely perfect!

Love, love, love River Star! House was clean with nice layout, check-in was a breeze. Property was beautiful, private and peaceful. On a dead end road with a neighbor on each side but enough distance and foliage to feel like no one else is around. Access to river from back yard. Wish we could’ve stayed longer and can’t wait to go back! Perfect- everything I look for in a vacation spot!

Perfect Winter Getaway

Patty was a great communicator!! The house was exceptional! We used it as a place to stay while enjoying sledding and tubing. It was wonderful to relax in the hot tub and we really enjoyed the river view!! The house is huge with plenty of room. The fireplace was wonderful. Our biggest complaint is not having enough time to enjoy the house and use the firepit. We hope to visit during the warm months to take advantage of the river!

The perfect place for a relaxing weekend!

This house has everything you need to stay for a week or a weekend. It's clean, comfortable and well stocked with the necessities. The river in the backyard is perfect for swimming or fishing, and the whole outside area is great for unwinding on the hammock, soaking in the hot tub or sitting around the fire. We had a last minute cancelation on another rental out of state, and the owner of the house made quick arrangements for us to check in the next day. From check in to checkout we codlin't have asked for a better experience. If we return to Elkins I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Nice little weekend getaway

The house and property was amazing and just what my wife and I needed for our weekend getaway for our anniversary. We kayaked up and down the river which was easily accessible just several feet from the back deck. There was many fish visible as we floated down the river and plenty of swimming holes. We enjoyed cups of coffee by the fire pit in the evening as well as chilling and relaxing in the hottub. This is a place that my wife and I won't forget and have already told many family and friends about. Thanks for having us River Star!

Perfect Fall Weekend

This was a weekend getaway for my sisters and my mom. The house was way more than we expected. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us. The outside fire pit is where we spent most of our time. My one sister enjoyed reading a book snuggled in by the fireplace inside. Everything was super clean, kitchen had everything we needed plus the hot tub was perfect to sit in at night when it was chilly. We shared good memories and had a lot of laughs! Very peaceful place to be!

The rest we needed

I traveled with my family and parents for an extended weekend before school started. This house was the perfect set up. The house was very spacious and offered everything we needed (my daughter wanted faster wifi). We spent the days fishing, floating in the river, in the hot tub, playing corn hole and long sits by the fire. It was very quiet and although there are a couple houses around, you can't see them or hear them. For dinner one night we ate at Smoke on the Water and it was also amazing. It's a must if you're in the area. We would not hesitate to return and relax again.

Our family fell in love with The Shaver's Fork of The Cheat River. We live close by in Elkins, WV and love to get away to fish, float and relax at the river. I am originally from New York and my husband is a native West Virginian.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

River Star is a great location. It has one of the best locations to access the river. It is a gradual access (I call it my river beach) into a great swimming hole. The river has riffles above and below our swimming hole. The property also has a beautiful trickling creek that runs through the property. Kids love to play in the creek, as well as in the river. The property boasts three lots, with a lot of room to play yard games or pop up a tent.
