Nostalgic Mountain Getaway, Only a Short Walk to Lifts or River Run!

This family-friendly, 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo sleeps 8 with a king bed, a twin-over-twin bunk bed, a full bed and a queen sleeper sofa. Beautiful river and lake views from the private balcony. Easily walk to shops and restaurants. Both River Run Village and the Mountain House Base Area lifts are an 8 to 10-minute walk away, or a few minutes via the free shuttle. Frostfire features shared amenities, including two outdoor hot tubs.

This second floor walk-up has an entryway closet for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. The living area features a flat screen TV, a beautiful gas fireplace and a sleeper sofa. The private balcony can be accessed through the living area and offers beautiful views and overlooks the nearby wetlands and mountains.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home and features granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The dining area comfortably seats six and there are three additional seats at the breakfast bar. The first of two full bathrooms is located just off of the living area and has a single sink vanity and a shower/tub combination. Bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries. There is also a private washer and dryer, with laundry detergent provided for your convenience.

The spacious primary bedroom features a king-sized bed and a flat screen TV. The en suite bathroom has a single sink vanity and an updated walk-in shower. The guest bedroom features a stand alone full bed and a twin over twin bunk bed.

We had an amazing stay. The host was super responsive and helpful. The place is perfect for us!! The location is ideal (walk to both ski base areas. The condo is gorgeous and it had all the amenities we needed (that is not always the case with VRBOs). Maybe the biggest bonus... 2 parking spots (that is an issue in Keystone now). We give this an A/5-star/10 out of 10 rating!

"Excellent stay! We have been renting condos in Summit County for over forty years, and this property ranks among the best. It was spotless, well-stocked, and perfectly located. While it's a short walk to the Peru lift, we found a great hack: we parked our car at the East Mountain House lot at 7:30 AM with our boots inside, then walked back to the condo. This allowed everyone to get ready at their own pace, head to the car to swap shoes for boots, and avoid walking in ski boots entirely. It also allowed everyone to quit at their own pace and walk back to the condo. It made our trip so much more comfortable!"

Great location to walk to Mountain House at Keystone. Steam shower wasn’t working during our stay but they did send maintenance to try and remedy it. The primary bed was super comfortable and plenty of room for all our ski gear. Hot tub and ski lockers are nearby and great perks!!

Perfect location for all a interests

Wonderful up to date and clean condo unit. The location is perfect for everyone in our family. Close enough to easily walk to the Peru lift. Close to ski rental and dining options. Easy enjoyable walk to River run area as well. We enjoyed it all!

Great stay!

We only stayed here for one night, but wished we had more time. Loved the layout of this spacious rental. Well-appointed and very comfortable for 4 adults and 2 children. There are some stairs to climb with luggage.

Right at the base of keystone and easy to get to. Perfect for a quick getaway. Property was clean and matched the description. Communication about how to access the unit was great and the check-in and check-out instructions were clear and easy to follow. Highly recommend!

New Years Ski Trip

We loved everything about this property. Location, cleanliness, sidewalks shoveled regularly, gas fireplace, humidifiers provided. You can walk to the ski lift but in ski boots it seems like quite the stretch. Kitchen could use a few more things to make cooking meals a little easier (more kitchen towels, pans). Also we only found one extra pillow for the hide-a-bed couch.

Great location for Keystone skiing

This was a great little 2 BR & 2 bath condo. Close to Keystone resort and walkable to ski lifts. It was quiet a nice setting with a beautiful view on the lake and the mountains. The property management company was great to work with and responsive. One issue with this condo was that the blinds to the picture window did not work. I spoke with the PM comp and they did send someone out to look at it but they couldn’t replace them in a weekend, so we had to prop them up to enjoy the view. Other than that it was as advertised and a wonderful place.

The cleaning crew seemed to miss some things; in the master bath there was a blood spot on the white rug. There was dried vomit on the bed skirt in the master bedroom as well.

We are guest oriented, and we offer the following when you rent with us: hassle-free check-in and keycard pick-up, a generous supply of towels and an initial supply of consumables for your stay. We are also in the resort and have the longest business hours of any management company.

VACATION RENTALS VS. HOTELS
Booking a vacation rental is like staying at the house of a friend. In this vacation rental you will experience significantly more space, privacy, or comforts that feel like home, including a kitchen and a location that is beyond what most hotels can offer. All this at a significantly lower cost than a hotel with comparable features. These benefits bring different considerations than a hotel. More privacy means that most guests do not want daily housekeeping. We offer a check-out clean and, for an added fee, mid-stay cleans. We also offer a starter supply of some consumables, including coffee, paper towels, toilet paper and more, but these items are not restocked during a stay. A kitchen allows you to make home-cooked meals. Guests will likely visit the store to purchase groceries. Self-sufficiency is key to a happy stay in a vacation rental. We do provide housekeeping and 24/7 maintenance, but this is primarily for properties in between stays. Our staff services vacation rentals across several square miles, unlike a hotel that manages a single building. We have to strike a balance between cost and service, and have found that our current system has struck this balance. Our hope is that our guests understand the difference between booking a hotel and a vacation rental. Together we can provide affordable vacation rentals and happy stays for everyone!
