Underwhelming and not clean
This house is located in the North Beach Resort which was very nice and close to everything. The house unfortunately was not. It was decorated nice but was not sanitary. We had animal droppings on the outdoor patio and there were roaches in the home. We had to be moved to another unit which was much better. The resort is nice but I would never stay in this home again. The resort staff was very accommodating and we had no issues with the 2nd home.

Thank you for your feedback, Theresa. the animal droppings on the patio are from the geese who frequent the marshes. We can not control where the geese roam or use the restroom. We do have a regular exterminator for the property and it is sprayed regularly. In the south, we do have palmetto bugs, and they get into all homes. The house was inspected for any infestation and it passed the inspection. We were happy to hear you enjoyed the rest of your stay in the second unit and the resort compensated you with an additional night. We hope to see you on your next Myrtle Beach Vacation!
