Villa Beachcliff

The house was amazing, with beautiful bedrooms each with a private bath, plenty of communal space inside and out, two lovely pools, and easy access to the rocky beach. You can view both the sunrise and sunset from the house. The hosts are very helpful, knowledgeable, and quick to respond to any communications. Don't hesitate to book this villa!

Wonderful week at Villa Beachcliff

Our extended family of 8 enjoyed a wonderful week at Villa Beachcliff. We range in age from 13 to 80 and there was something for everyone. The two pools, private beach and lots of places to curl up with a book, beautiful views and ocean breezes. The villa is located in a wonderful area of Grenada where we could walk/jog and always felt safe. Rick and Karen are great hosts and communication was wonderful. They gave us some great recommendations including lunch at the University Club which is right down the road, the BBC beach which is a truly beautiful spot with lots of shade as well as sun. Breakfast at the West Indies brewery, cocktails at the Umbrella Beach bar. We took an excursion to the 7 sisters waterfalls and hiked down and jumped in the falls which our teenage daughters loved. The list goes on.... Thank you Rick and Karen for having us! We'd love to come back someday!

Amazing Trip

This house is beautiful and is as advertised! Rick was a wonderful host. He met us at the house for check in and showed us around the property. He was very responsive during the entire booking process and was a huge help with setting up a catamaran charter and private chef at the house. I would recommend this property to everyone! Would love to make another trip in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at the Villa Beachcliff. The home is even more beautiful in person than it is in the pictures. Rick and Karen are such great people and they were so helpful with all of our needs during the week. You can't ask for better hosts. I miss Grenada already!

The property was great. Excellent views. A short walk down the street to the southernmost tip of the island was awesome. Rick and Karen were excellent hosts. Met us on day one and walked us through the property. Always quick to respond to questions. Overall just a great stay

What a home!!!

This house was amazing! 2 pools, 1 was 9 1/2 deep and the other was 3.5-6.5 feet. Beds were all very comfortable. The views of sunset each night were stunning! The owners were also very very helpful with arranging a person for transportation and very easy to work with. They arranged a dinner to be made for us on the night of arrival and that was amazing as well!!! 6 stars out of 5!!!! We will come back!!

Fantastic! We absolutely loved our stay!

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The pictures do not do the property justice. The house is much better in person. We felt right at home in this incredible, beautiful, and clean villa. It has everything we could possibly want and then some. Rick and Karen are such wonderful hosts. They are very welcoming and kind. Rick took our group on an intersting and enjoyable tour of the island. We would recommend staying here to anyone and everyone. We had a such lovely and relaxing stay. Thanks for making our vacation a memorable time.

Rick and Karen: In all my Caribbean travels we have not found a spot as nice as yours. From the beautiful views to the soothing sounds of the ocean and the incredible breeze one couldn't ask for better. We appreciated all your attention to our needs from per-stocking the refrigerator to all the great recommendations you truly enhance our vacation. If people are looking for a great get-away spot with family and/or friends this is the place to be. The Villa has great space, great views and great pools. Who could ask for anything more. The Villa Beachcliff is a great place to enjoy all that Grenada has to offer plus two great hosts! Thanks again, you can be sure we will tell all our friends about your place.

Absolutely Wonderful !!!

Villa Beachcliff is everything you see and read online and more. Our family of 8 was delighted with our stay at Villa Beachcliff. It is like being tucked away in a tropical paradise! The views are fantastic with a constant cooling breeze. The décor and rooms are lovely and every amenity you could want is provided. Karen and Rick were the most delightful hosts we have ever had in the 20 years we have been renting villas. Beachcliff is located on a beautiful, quiet road that was great for taking our morning walks and conveniently located near great restaurants and shopping. And we cant say enough about the friendly people of Grenada... warm, inviting and helpful. It was truly one of our favorite vacations!!

Perfect place to stay!

We had five couples staying at Villa Beachcliff and it was perfect for our group. The Villa is big enough that we all had our space and plenty of room to lounge around. I didn't think there was any way it could be as nice as advertised and it exceeded it! Rick and Karen are excellent hosts. Rick answered all my numerous questions promptly before the trip and arranged the rental car to come to the Villa for us to drive. The villa is incredibly clean and well maintained. We loved sitting our on the many decks to watch the ocean, as well as the sunset every night. The last night we were there we even saw the sailboat races right off of the coast. I can't say enough about how lovely this place is. We had a fabulous time in Grenada.

Absolute Paradise

It is hard to write this review because the greedy side of me wants to keep Villa Beachcliff a secret! A group of 9 of us stayed here for a girls trip and never wanted to leave - so much so that several of us even skipped out on excursions and tours just so we could enjoy the beauty of the villa. Rick and Karen were wonderful and welcoming hosts who were extremely helpful in ensuring our stay was perfect from start to finish. This was everyone's first trip to Grenada, and certainly will not be our last. Villa Beachcliff is clean, comfortable, offers UNPARALLELED views of both the Caribbean and Atlantic Oceans while offering more than enough space so that no one felt crowded. Rick & Karen: thank you for everything, we simply cannot wait to return!

You don't want to miss this place!

This place is basically a private resort with something for everyone! Rick arranged to have us picked up from the airport and had our rental cars waiting for us at the house. He greeted us at the house to show us around and welcome us with a cocktail! There were nine of us ranging in age from 12-50 there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have privacy when needed. The place itself was beautiful, we spent many mornings on the upper patio having coffee and watching rainbows form in the distance. Rick and Karen were the ultimate hosts arranging for everything we needed from a chef bringing in fresh fish and preparing it for us to cook to a tour of the local sites, a private catamaran tour and even a van to take us to dinner one night. They were always available and friendly when we interacted with them. So glad we got the opportunity to stay here, it's certainly a vacation that will last a lifetime!

Absolute Paradise.....

A small group of us decided to head to Grenada to celebrate a few Birthdays. When i saw Villa Beachcliff online I knew that is where we had to stay. Once we walked thru the front door I knew we made the right decision!! The villa is absolutely incredible with unbelievable views! Rick and Karen were such kind and gracious hosts. They were extremely helpful in the planning of our entire trip as well as daily excursions. Rick took us on an excellent tour of the island. There were several days that we never left the Villa and took advantage of our 2 pools and private beach access. Each night we enjoyed the sunset on the top lookout. Each bedroom was very clean and unique and stocked with the necessities. I would without a doubt recommend this property to anyone traveling to the beautiful country of Grenada. I have never been around such lush terrain and such friendly people. I am dying to go back soon!!

Perfect Dream House

This is a perfect and dreamy place to spend a Grenada vacation. It has everything you could ever ask for and is in an ideal setting. The property is immaculate and well stocked with everything that you need for an ideal stay. Rick is a fantastic and gracious host--he was incredibly communicative the entire time and perfectly prepared for pretty much everything. Rick helped take much of the stress out of planning a fairly large family vacation. I would absolutely return here without a second's hesitation. The only thing I would mention in terms of a disclosure, is that the property is not perfectly situated for older folks. My parents, who aren't super mobile, had some difficulty accessing some parts of the property given that there are a lot of stairs. That said, there are a lot of stairs because there is a lot to see and do on this property! This place has my highest recommendation.

A wonderful villa in a beautiful location of Grenada. The detail extraordinary and feels like home.

A very impressive property on all levels. The rooms were spacious, the views are breathtaking from the front and back of villa. Lots of breeze, especially at the front which helped minimise the mosquito bites. It's the very place to relax and unwind. Rick (owner) made us feel very welcome, and was accommodating towards our request and assistance. You may want to consider a vehicle to get around from Lance Aux Epines to St Georges (town) and around the island. Having said that, it's very easy to stay in the villa for days at a time, given the surroundings and comfortable features. I would definitely recommend this place. It's ideal for a group of people (maximum 10), There is enough space for the maximum group but also has the feel of privacy if one wanted to be on their own. I would definitely recommend this place. The images on the Homeaway and Villa Beachcliff websites are exactly what you see and discover in person. A true gem and certainly worth considering when choosing a place to stay.

Great Holiday In Grenada

What a wonderful holiday we had in Grenada and especially staying at Villa Beachcliff. My wife and I, two children and their spouses and three grandchildren (ages 20, 17 and 15), just spent 11 great days at Villa Beachcliff. The property is what is advertised, no doctored photos. It is great. We especially enjoyed the two pools and the great views. The facility was first rate and Rick and Karen were great hosts. If we had questions or issues they responded promptly, not only about the property but attractions and dining options. Though I never really got use to the stones on the shower floor (you have to rent the place to find out what I am referring to). As for Grenada, the people were wonderful, the food was great and we especially enjoyed the all day island tour and an all day snorkel tour. We also spent a lot of time just touring the island by ourselves and also a lot of beach time. If you have never been to Grenada....GO. It is safe, inviting and friendly. And if you want to stay in a great Villa with plenty of space, not a cramped hotel. You will not go wrong by staying at Villa Beachcliff.

Fabulous Caribbean Accommodations

We were so impressed with the accommodations at Villa Beachcliff. Enjoyed the many outdoor living/patio options with breathtaking views and sounds of the ocean waves hitting the beach below. The suites were unique in decor and comfortable, each having their own air conditioner and bathroom. The trade winds kept the rest of the house cooled down even in the middle of the day. Many in our group enjoyed the snorkeling in the cove below the villa while others of us lounged and swam in the two beautiful pools just off the patios. We watched the sunset multiple nights from various balconies, one evening walking the short distance to the tip of the island not even a block away from the house where the Atlantic and Caribbean Sea meet. Rick, the owner of the villa, was more than helpful with transportation, offering suggestions for eating and sightseeing, making our stay overall amazing! Missing the sunshine and breezes of Grenada now that we are back in the deep cold of Kansas. January was a perfect time to visit and upon return we will again stay at the Villa Beachcliff!

First Grenada trip…in Sept 2024

We traveled to Grenada to celebrate 31st wedding anniversary. My wife and I are usually accompanied by our sister and “aunt” for these trips to the Caribbean. We usually stay at a resort; this was our first time staying at a VRBO. There were pros and cons. The pros-Rick is an excellent host! He arranged a chef for a dip Ed our first joght-food was superb. He helped arrange excursions that were awesome and not offered through Viator. We was responsive when we found ourselves locked out of the unit. The villa is beautiful and in a great location. He arranged a car rental which came in quite handy which was brought to the Villa and picked up as welll which was quite convenient. He arranged out transfer to and from the airport. You could t ask more from a host! The cons-the group’s biggest gripe, not mine but I was the only male, was air conditioning. There is no central air and the individual units in the rooms did not always work well. You won’t have piping hot showers. That was less of an issue. The biggest complaint was the AC and for that reason I can’t say the group would return. I still would highly recommend staying at the Villa as I feel the pros outweighs the cons.

Villa Beachcliff -- Everything you could hope for and more

From the moment we stepped onto the property, we knew we were in for a fantastic week. Rick and Karen are incredibly gracious hosts and were responsive to our every question and need. Villa Beachcliff was the perfect retreat for our crew of 7, ranging in age from mid 40s to 80. It was so perfect that we were content to spend much of our time in one of the pools or curled up in a breezy corner of our own with a good book. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to create meals with local ingredients and there was a perfect-sized table on the porch for us to enjoy them together and engage in after dinner conversation or games. There is also plenty of space for a random dance party. I especially recommend the upper deck facing the Caribbean for all day breezes and gorgeous sunsets. Water shoes are necessary to fully enjoy the beautiful rocky beach at the base of the property. We took a ride to the Belmont Estate for the chocolate tour and buffet, had a fantastic lunch at the Aquarium Beach Bar, and took in some local beer and breakfast at the West Indies Beer Company. All were worth the trip. We rented cars through Rick and Karen from Parkey -- Ray was so great to work with and the cars were in excellent condition! In sum, Villa Beachcliff is a fantastic location with plenty of space to be together and apart and all the amenities you need. Thank you so much, Rick and Karen, for the obvious care you take to make stays at Villa Beachcliff so special!

Everry Thing we wanted it to be

Our family of seven adults and one child arrived at the St Georges airport around 9:30 pm tired and a little hungry from a long travel day. When we cleared customs, Rick was there to warmly welcome us to Grenada and to quickly transport us to his and Karen's Villa about 20 minutes away. Before departing, they provided a tour and orientation of the beautiful rooms and levels of the villa including the pathway through the palms and flowering plants to the beach below. Afterwards, we were left to enjoy the spectacular view, the surf sounds and the gentle evening breezes while partaking of some of the fresh provisions Rick and Karen kindly had waiting for us. Our visit to Grenada included activities, tours and lazy days at the beach all of which were even more enjoyable knowing we had the beautiful and relaxing Villa Beachcliff to return to. Extended family members, staying elsewhere, joined us on three occasions for cocktails and dinner in the Villa' beautiful dining room. Our superb farewell dinner was arranged by Rick at our request and prepared by Chef Kim and his wife Stacey and included the best calaloo soup our nephew and resident medical student had yet tasted. I would highly recommend Villa Beachcliff to anyone traveling to Grenada and hope we too can visit Rick and Karen's beautiful villa again some day.

Heaven!

The villa was absolutely amazing! From the moment we started planning our trip til the very end, we were so delighted we found the Villa Beachcliff. We loved the fact that Rick reached out to us on the phone to smooth out any questions we may have had. Rick was so helpful with guiding us along the way in regards to restaurant suggestions, tours etc. even though he was unable to be in Grenada while we were there he made sure That we had his contact information as well as having Shawne his assistant/helper there for anything we may have needed. The Pictures of the villa don't do it justice, this place was spectacular. From the views to the feeling of being secure, you are totally surrounded by serenity while here. We had a group of 3 couples and never once felt cramped, this place is huge. The only suggestion for future travelers is make sure to bring lots of bug spray. I think a few in our group were a delicacy for the Mosquitos every where we went, not just at the villa. Also, if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs because the tree frogs can be loud while sleeping. Words can't express how grateful we were to Rick for letting us stay in his beautiful villa. When we return to Grenada we hope to have the pleasure of staying here again and actually meeting Rick and his wife.

Family Vacation back to Grenada

We stayed at Villa Beach Cliff with our adult kids for a trip back to Grenada. We had gone to school and lived there 28 years ago. Rick and Kathy were gracious hosts and met us when we checked in. Their home was perfect for our family of 6. we enjoyed the pools in the afternoon after a day out around Grenada. Our favorite family hang out was the top deck. The breezes from the Atlantic were refreshing for morning coffee or evening wine. The sunset views were stunning. With the help of Rick and Kathy we brought Chef Kim and his wife Stacey in for 2 dinners. The meals were delicious and they were so professional. They cooked, served and cleaned which was much appreciated. The bedrooms have AC but the living area does not. They have fans but we spent most of our time on the top deck for the views and ocean breezes. The house has beach access to a more rocky beach. We went to the University Club and kayaked around the bay to more sandy beaches. We also liked the neighborhood feel and took lots of walks in the mornings. Rick and Kathy also help us secure a rental car which was convenient for trips to the beaches and diving around island. We also had a masseuse come to the house which we got the recommendation from Rick and Kathy. She was excellent and did a wonderful massage. All in all it was the most perfect backdrop to a family vacation and reunion back to Grenada.

Paradise Found! Villa Beachcliff was amazing!

Our stay at Villa Beachcliff was everything we could have wanted and more! I really doubted that it could be as beautiful as the photos, but it was actually more lovely in person! To have both the Atlantic ocean on one side and the Caribbean on the other was very special - it must be the best view on the island. Rick and Karen took great care of all our needs, from shuttling us to and from the airport, to arranging for car rentals, stocking the house with groceries and even securing a chef for a special at-home dinner... they could not have been more accommodating! The house was lovely, and slept our large crowd of ten very comfortably. Each room was unique, but equally well appointed, and it was nice that each had private baths. The numerous patios and verandas gave many choices to sit and enjoy the view. We all decided that this was our FIRST visit to Villa Beachcliff, because we certainly hope to be back! The only suggestion I have would be to have an outdoor dining area that can accommodate a larger crowd. The indoor dining room was very nice and easily seated 12-14, but I would love to see a table on the main floor veranda to enjoy the view of the Caribbean. Grenada is such a special island - beautiful beaches, lush interior with rainforest, waterfalls, and a volcanic lake, and friendly people. We especially loved our trip to Friday Fish-night in Gouyave and the Saturday Spice Market in St. George. The island is developed enough to have great tourist venues, but still retains a charm that is unique to Grenada. Truly one of the Caribbean's best kept secrets! The Perfect Villa!!!

Villa Beachcliff is located on the far southern tip of the island, taking Lance Aux Pines road from the main airport road. The Villa met all of our expectations; all pictures are accurate and reflected exactly how the Villa appears. The price is the same regardless of how many stay, from two to eight. The owner, Rick was proactive in his communication via email and when we made our final decision to stay coordinated a phone call to answer any and all questions, we sent a list of provisions, which was waiting for us the first night we got there. American Airlines only has one flight into the island that arrives around 9:00pm. He coordinated a rental Jeep (good price and well maintained vehicle) and met us at the airport upon arrival. Our wives went with him to the villa, while we went with the rental owner to the police station to get our temporary drivers license. (Remember driving is on the left and the driver in on the right) The villa accommodates 8 people, with two King Bed rooms on the main living level and two queen bedrooms off the lower pool. There is also another pool on the south side of the house, off the main level. All bedrooms have in-suite bathrooms, television, safes and mini fridges. The entire Villa has both 110 and 220, no need to bring adaptors. There were four of us and we stayed in the two king suites (nutmeg and cinnamon). We ate breakfast off the main living room and spent every evening on the pergola, enjoying the constant breeze from the Atlantic side while watching the sunset in the Caribbean. There is the constant sound of breaking waves, which really gives you the ocean feel. The villa is well appointed and had numerous nooks to view the Atlantic or Caribbean from the front or back of the house. Rick’s wife was out of the country, so he recommended Kim, a local chef, who came to the house and cooked two delicious meals. This trip, location and villa exceeded all of our expectations, would highly recommend this property anyone visiting the island!

Wonderful stay that may never be topped

4 sets of cousins, celebrating 10 year anniversaries stayed at Villa Beachcliff. The house is even better than the pictures. Each room was large and no one had to settle for a "guest room" as all were master suites. Spacious layout, numerous decks, porches and pools allowed everyone to find their own perfect and private spot to relax, yet ample dining and living space allowed us to all hang out. The house is located in a very private and quiet part of the island on a peninsula with no traffic. You have your own private retreat. Rick and Karen were the BEST hostess I have ever met. Throughout the planning process of our trip, the communication was quick and informative. Upon our arrival, they met us at the airport (for a 9PM arrival,) gave us a tour of the house and answered many questions. Rick also emailed us recommendations for scuba, snorkeling and arranged for a private chef to prepare us a dinner. We are an adventurous group and staying in a house with 2 car rentals allowed us to explore the entire island. The roads on the island are not for the weak, but taking the risk allowed us to see numerous private beaches, waterfalls, explore the rainforest, tour St. George and purchase local, fresh foods. At the house, there is small beach with a small, active, coral reef that you can snorkel at your leisure. Most days we ate out lunch and then cooked fresh fish for dinner. The kitchen is stocked (not food,), allowing you to prepare any dish you would like. An IGA grocery store is nearby and has all needs. We recommend Petite Bacaya for a wonderful meal in the treetops, the Acquarium and Umbrellas for great meals, drinks and spectacular views. We had an amazing time staying at Villa Beachcliff and not sure we will ever top this trip and especially this house. It exceeded every expectation we had.
