Séjour et villa parfait

Un grand merci à Eduardo pour son accompagnement dans l’organisation de notre séjour, course et organisation des dîners et petits déjeuner, transferts et besoins ponctuels…Le personnel et tout particulièrement la cuisinière Jean a été à la hauteur avec de magnifiques petits déjeuner et dîner.La villa, les chambres tout était parfait.Le resort est magnifique, plages somptueuses et golfs top.C’était notre troisième séjour, le premier dans cette villa.N’hésitez pas vous serez enthousiasmé

Superbe villa pour famille ou groupe d'amis : calme et confortable.

Villa calme au sein du magnifique golf de Punta Cana. 3 chambres "In suite". Belles parties commune. Petite piscine très agréable en fin de journée. Personnel attentif et discret. Prendre l'option Pt Dej et Diner avec Rosa et Chiquitito qui seront là pour vous. Accès au club house du golf avec piscine. Belles plages avec un peu de Sargasses en juillet / aout mais nettoyage permanent. 5 restaurants sur le golf et accès au village nécessitant un véhicule. Visite de la réserve naturelle à prévoir mais peu d'autres activités dans les environ. Ideal pour la farniente et le calme dans un cadre privilégié magnifique. Organisation très professionnelle et efficace. Je recommande vivement.

The house was in excellent condition—very clean and well-maintained. It was perfect for our family, with each of us having our own bedroom and full bathroom, which made the stay even more comfortable.From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Chej Jenna and Suleica, who truly went above and beyond to make our trip special. We were celebrating my daughter’s Sweet 16, and they surprised us with a beautiful display of balloons and a cake, along with a delicious breakfast on her special day. It was such a thoughtful and memorable touch.Eduardo, the host, was incredibly helpful—he arranged our airport transfers and booked all our excursions, making everything seamless. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return to this home again. Nothing was overlooked—it was a perfect experience from start to finish.

My family and I had a wonderful time in Punta Cana. This villa is beautiful. The host made us feel at home and the staff was so helpful and friendly. Jefrey cooked delicious meals and was always available if we had questions or needed something. Everything went smoothly and we were able to relax and enjoy our family vacation. I can’t say enough good things about our stay at this Villa. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Everything was wonderful. Jean and Yudi were so sweet. They made everyone feel comfortable and we really enjoyed ourselves. All in all it was a pleasant experience. We experienced some trouble with a language barrier with the staff. Also, since we were there for two weeks, the expenses of getting bottled water was not made clear ahead of time, since the water in the house was not treated. Jean and Judy were helpful and Jeans meals were delicious.

Perfect stay

It was our first time staying in Eduardo’s property and it was amazing! This house is exactly as it is picture. It is a quiet property, perfectly clean, with an amazing pool and bedrooms. The check in process was very easy, Eduardo gave us excellent recommendations and was very easy to communicate with. We recommend to lease the golf carts to go around La Cana and also Yan the chef, that prepares you delicious meals!

Great house and perfect location

Very nice house and perfectly located. Clean, spacious and well maintained. We did not take advantage of the in-house staff since we wanted to cook our own meals. Made some of the planning a little more complicated for us. Host provided 5 gal of drinking water. Host was very responsive.

Golf Outing

Me and three friends just returned from a 4 night stay at this villa. I have nothing but great things to say about the property. It is convenient to everything we needed during the stay. The golf course was a 3minute golf cart away. The private beach was within walking distance. The club house at the golf course was nice to grab lunch or a beverage following golf. The villa itself was as advertised. The grounds and pool were very well kept. The villa was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was plenty of common room for when we wanted to be together and large enough to have some space to grab some down time. Our favorite part of the stay was the food prepared by the chef. Breakfast was good and the dinners were great. Each was freshly prepared and the service was flexible to meet our changing schedules. If the opportunity arises to visit Punta Cana again we will definitely be scheduling this villa again.

Dominican Republic Oasis

We were welcomed by a delicious charcuterie board after a long day of travel by the house staff. Our host gave us a quick tour of the house and the resort and then we settled into the luxurious welcoming home. We had the staff cook a few meals during our stay that were very tasty. Our host arranged a few tours (Eco park, and a Catamaran boating trip) that we requested. He also completed some grocery shopping based on our requests prior to our arrival. We rented a few golf carts which allowed us to explore the vast resort which I believe was a must. All in all, Eduardo and his staff did all they could to help us enjoy his home and our stay in the Dominican Republic.

Pure Relaxation!

We had an amazing experience! The house was exactly as described and even better in person. Everyone in my party had plenty of space, felt safe, and slept soundly. The golf cart was fantastic to explore the neighborhood and get us to the beach and resort pool. Rosa and her helper kept us well fed for breakfast and dinner! The pool was cleaned every day and was a perfect size for us 4. All in all, we had a great trip and would highly recommend staying here!

Fantastic week

Eduardo was amazing and easy to communicate with, made the booking experience simple and straightforward. From the early arrival to the late checkout, we were very well taken care of and pampered. Incredible meals by Rosa and Suleyka. Breakfast ready every morning. 5 min golf cart ride to the beach! Best vacation any of us have ever had. Thank you Eduardo! I look forward to going back next year with the family and new baby!

NO PRIVACY

BE AWARE that the owner lives in an adjacent room attached to this house & the house maids live in a room off the kitchen where they do entertain their guests so you will HAVE NO PRIVACY! Homeowner has a key to the front door & comes in as he pleases even if he rings the doorbell & if you don’t hear it, he lets himself in! The day of arrival we walked in to see an empty pool being filled with 1 hose & caution tape around the pool! The pool was unusable for 4 days. Be advised the pool looks nothing like the listing it is a very small kidney shaped pool not heated and there is NO HOT TUB! The charcuterie/fruit plate and champagne that the owner leaves you which I did not ask for & claims is complimentary per the Review on January 9 2021by Alfred F. 1/5 TERRIBLE is NOT COMPLIMENTARY! When I checked over the receipt for the food that was purchased to cook us a few dinners not only were all the charcuterie/fruit items on it along with a $30 bottle of champagne & MANY cleaning products and MANY paper products along with other food items I never asked for and when I confronted him and told him this is unethical he became extremely belligerent! This house & the furnishings have not been updated since the photos were taken 12 years ago This was the worst vacation I’ve ever had, cried every day! I have filed a formal complaint with VRBO calling every few days for over a month talked to 6 people and still no resolve. I FEEL A REPRESENTATIVE NEEDS TO FORMALLY CHECK ON THIS HOUSE !

Overall stay was enjoyable. Rosa was delightful and the meals she provided were well done. There was a mix up communicating menu items. Requested desserts with meals and didn’t get any. Asked for bacon and sausage for one breakfast and received neither. The one item I believe needs improvement would be the golf cart. The cart really needs a windshield. This is your main mode of transportation in the resort and rain is likely to catch you driving. Without a windshield you get absolutely soaked. Considering the price of rental a little protection from the weather should be included and should be easy to remedy. Back patio and pool area are definitely the home’s best feature.

Awesome Beach Holiday with Family

We loved how close we were to the beach. We swam in the ocean every day. Rosa cooked a delicious breakfast every morning and made us 5 of our 7 dinners; we all loved her food. Lunch at the beach club was easy. Swimming in the natural swimming holes in the Eco Park was a delight. Our daughters in their 20s loved zooting around in golf carts. Truly relaxing and comforable house, and local on the resort. Felt very safe.

Great first trip to the Dominican

Our family had an amazing trip to Punta Cana! The house was perfect for our family of 5. The location was ideal since our son was in a golf tournament at La Cana golf course. Having the ability to rent a golf cart was so helpful. We used it multiple times a day. Rosa was wonderful. We would definitely stay again!

College friends 60th bday celebration

Our 60th birthday girls trip to Punta Cana was perfect thanks to Eduardo & the wonderful Rosa. The home was comfortable, clean and well appointed, exactly as advertised. We could walk or golf cart to most locations and if we needed a ride, it could be arranged. Rosa made a delicious breakfast every day at a time of our choosing & we chose 2 dinners at home that were also wonderful thanks to Rosa’s culinary skills. Eduardo responded quickly to all questions before, during and after our trip. We utilized the spa on the property which was top notch and exceeded all of our expectations. If you are looking for a tropical get away with family or friends, we would highly recommend this property.

Hello! I’m Eduardo, the owner of Villa Tatagua in beautiful and tropical Punta Cana Resort and Club.

I am a retired US civil engineer and general contractor and know what it is like to live a stress-filled life in the hustle and bustle of a large city. I had vacationed in the Dominican Republic many times in the past and always found the beautiful beaches, friendly people and tropical scenery so relaxing and inviting. I always found it hard to leave when the vacation was over and couldn’t wait until I could once again return. When I retired, I decided to make a change: I turned one of my favorite vacation spots into my retirement home and am so happy I did!

I bought this Villa 10 years ago and spent several months remodeling it to what it is today…a beautiful 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath, spacious, sun-filled Villa facing hole 2 of La Cana Golf Course and a short walk to Playa Serena, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. I named the home Villa Tatagua in honor of a beautiful beachfront property my parents owned in Cuba.

I have loved every minute of this new life! It is a pleasure getting to know our guests and helping them turn their dream vacation into a reality. Many of our wonderful guests have returned year after year and we have a spotless 5-star review from 50 guests and counting!
