A cozy retreat in the heart of the Lake Erie Wine Trail that comes with a complimentary wine tasting at 21 Brix Winery.

This newly renovated 1950's fishing cabin boasts modern amenities to ensure your comfort while retaining hints of it's former purpose. Wake up each morning to take in the panoramic view of Lake Erie from the back deck. Enjoy sunset from the screened in porch while you listen to the waves below. The Fisherman's Cottage can sleep up to 6 making it perfect for a girl's weekend at the wineries or a romantic getaway.

The cottage is just a few miles from Lake Erie State Park and Barcelona Harbor's public beach and marina. All Chautauqua Lake has to offer is just 15 minute to 20 minutes away including the Chautauqua Institute and Bemus Point. Spend your time boating in the summer, skiing in the winter, or touring wineries all year long.

Girls trip

Beautiful place! Rained all weekend but the Fisherman’s cottage was cozy and comfortable for the four of us.It is a little bit of a drive to nicer restaurants. But that would not deter me from going back again. Thoroughly enjoyed the space.

The property was exactly as it is listed. Loved the views, warm homey feeling and ease of use. Our daughter will be attending Fredonia in the fall. Can't wait to book our next stay!

Winter Getaway

It was a great place to stay. There were no surprises. Everything was as I expected. It had a beautiful view of Lake Erie and was just right for a couples getaway.

Amazing Place

We had a fantastic time staying here. Everything was great and I cannot say enough good things about this place. The coffee provided was a nice touch AND the record selection was excellent . Comfortable sleeping arrangements and had a great view of the lake. Would definitely stay here again.

What a lovely place with a niece view of the lake. The cottage was cozy and so comfortable. We had a great reunion. I hope we are able to do this visit again very soon.

The host was great to communicate with in advance of our one-night stay and we loved that the cleaning products (soaps etc) were no or low fragrance. Great sunset view over the lake too!

Sweet little spot overlooking the lake

We loved our time at this cozy cottage. It was clean and modern with lots of snuggly spots to enjoy the views of Lake Erie. It was the perfect location for exploring Chautauqua county’s many picturesque towns and villages, both along Lake Erie and into Lake Chautauqua.

What a find!!

After reading the other reviews, we booked this cottage and boy did it deliver! Amazing views, a hammock, firepit, and a perfect sun porch for reading, that we will return to enjoy in warmer weather. Inside, everything has been thought of and we wanted for nothing. We enjoyed being able to bring our dog, as well. Julie was attentive and quick to respond to any inquiries we had. You will not be disappointed so book it already!pup

Cozy Weekend Getaway

Very comfortable cottage with a great view of the lake. Cold weather prevented full enjoyment of the outside deck, but enclosed porch and well-thought out interior still made this an excellent choice without being weather-dependent. Perfect spot to rest and recharge - I look forward to returning!

The property was as amazing as the photos depicted! Our late November stay was ugly weather in New York State so we did not get to enjoy all that this amazing property offers on the banks of Lake Erie.

Bridesmaids stay

There were 5 ladies and we loved the stay. We didn’t see a larger skillet for breakfast. We ran the washer and dryer before leaving and loaded the dishwasher but did not see the dish pods under sink. Also there were spiders in door ways. Oh and be ware if you pull the flat screen tv out, or is left out as when you turn the fan on, it will catch it.

Weekend Erie Trip

We liked the house, it fit our needs for our plans in Erie. The sunset views over the lake were spectacular. Very clean, Julie was a fast with email replies and communication. The gas fireplace on Friday night was nice while overlooking the lake in the evening. Breakfast was easy in the kitchen both mornings, it had everything we needed for the 3 of us. Well thought out layout and a lot of attention to details. My daughter loved soaking in the huge bathtub Saturday night. Sitting on the front porch looking out over the lake with coffee in the morning is a treat. We spent Saturday on the Isle, paddleboarding, kayaking, local Meadery was great. For us, just sitting on the beach and talking, catching up is important. We used the firepit to cook our Saturday night meal, we brought our own cast iron cookware and then sat around it afterwards. Checkout was easy with very clear instructions.

Nice getaway

We enjoy quick getaways, this was just what we needed to unwind and just hangout, for end of May it was rainy and cold but we had a great time despite the weather. Comfy & inviting cottage.
