Tucked between Carbondale and Basalt, this 3BR, 2BA retreat offers private fly-fishing access, 360 acres of open space, a fenced yard, gas fireplace, and a fully stocked kitchen. With two fishing badges included and just 30 minutes to Aspen, it's a cozy, family-friendly haven designed for slow mornings, fireside evenings, and days well spent on the water.

Nestled on a third of an acre in the Ranch at Roaring Fork, this three-bedroom, two-bath home invites you into a rhythm that's slower, simpler, and rich with outdoor charm. With cathedral ceilings and an open-concept layout, the heart of the home flows easily from kitchen to dining to living room—perfect for gathering around the gas fireplace after a day on the river or trails.

The fully equipped kitchen is designed for ease and connection, with a breakfast bar, extendable dining table, and sliding glass doors that lead out to your private deck. There, an outdoor dining set offers the perfect perch for alfresco meals as the sun sinks behind the mountains. Inside, a smart TV, relaxed furniture, and soft lighting make it easy to settle in and linger. For the little travelers, enjoy a high chair and toys.

The fenced backyard is spacious and quiet—ideal for kids or up to two dogs to roam or for slow mornings with coffee in hand. Two fly-fishing (Fly only, no spinner rods) badges are yours to use, with access to over 360 acres of open space, miles of river and stream fishing, and eight stocked ponds teeming with trout.

Please note:
- The HOA of the building requires each guest to sign a rental agreement and be registered with the HOA during their stay. You will receive the lease link immediately after booking and are required to sign it within 24 hours, or your booking will be cancelled.
- The HOA is very strict about fly fishing rules and regulations and badges are at risk for the homeowner if any guest uses a spinner rod. Fishing in Ranch of Roaring Fork is for FLY FISHING only. Please abide by all rules posted in the home when fishing!

Perfect For: Families, travelers with up to two dogs, fishing enthusiasts, and mountain travelers seeking a blend of outdoor adventure and cozy comfort. Ideal for those who want private access to Gold Medal fly-fishing, peaceful surroundings, and proximity to Aspen's world-class slopes—all while enjoying a warm, family-ready home base.

Pet Friendly: This home is pet friendly for up to two dogs. There is a $25 per dog, per night which is automatically added to your reservation when you select the number of pets you are bringing.

Sleeping Arrangements: Primary Bedroom: King bed with ensuite bathroom; Guest Bedroom 1: Queen bed; Guest Bedroom 2: Twin bunk bed + additional twin bed (sleeps 3); Extras: Pack 'n play available for little travelers. Sleeps up to 7.

Parking & Transportation: Driveway parking for up to 2 vehicles plus additional guest parking available nearby. Located just 5 minutes from downtown Carbondale and 30 minutes to Aspen and Snowmass. A car is recommended for full access to the valley and nearby towns, but the Ranch at Roaring Fork has a RFTA bus stop for travel across the entire Valley. The RFTA VelociRFTA BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) offers a quick and affordable ride from Carbondale to Aspen, Glenwood Springs, and towns in between. Local stops make it easy to explore downtown on foot or bike.

The Location: Set in the Ranch at Roaring Fork between Carbondale and Basalt, this home offers direct access to 360 acres of open space, private fishing (fly only, no spinner rods), and trails. Enjoy high country quiet with easy access to four ski resorts, local dining, and vibrant valley life—all within reach, yet tucked away in tranquil nature.

This is a lovely property situated in a fabulous location. The Ranch is absolutely beautiful and the fishing is amazing with braided streams throughout the ranch as well as the Roaring Fork river. I really enjoy riding my bike on all the roads throughout the ranch. It's a very comfortable house with a great back yard. Nice sheets and a comfortable bed. It was great to be able to bring our dog Annie. I do wish lighting had been better for reading. Overall a very good stay.

Wonderful location, breathtaking views. The beds were super comfy, house was very clean and the kitchen well stocked. The golf course was a nice addition for our family. Couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more.

Angler's Paradise is what this is!!

This is a nicely updated older house, with lovely trees, birds and a nice setting. Everything worked well which made our stay worry free. The fishing possibilities are wonderful, with nice small streams, large open ponds, and of course the Roaring Fork River. The access points for fishing are well maintained which is nice. I don't fish but still enjoyed walking the many paths and enjoying the beauty of the area, as well as watching my husband fish. There is also gold near by. We would go back.

This house is located middle of Aspen , Snowmass and Glenwood spring . Location is the best, close to "everything ". Neighborhoods is quiet so is easy to relax.

Home is in a beautiful location.

We always enjoy staying by the Roaring Fork River Ranch with all the trails to walk our dog. The home on Stagecoach was quiet and peaceful. We had plenty of space to read, sit in the backyard, and cook. The location is just two miles from Carbondale where we could get groceries. When we visit again, I would recommend staying at this home.

Comfortable Stay

Comfortable furnishings (main bedroom was fantastic), fixtures, appliances and kitchen items. They did provide numerous fans, linens, towels, etc. There were some issues that came up during our stay. The lawn was not mowed (until mid way through our stay) with several piles of old dog waste, dishwasher leaked, sockets in both bathrooms did not work, facet handles were loose and spinning (easily fixed on our own). They were incredibly responsive and offered numerous times to have someone out to fix these items. These issues were not that big a deal for us so we opted not to have our stay disrupted. These types of things happen with rentals and it just was the perfect storm. Again, the communication and service options were excellent. They also provided great detail out restaurants, things to do, etc. The check in and check out process was very easy. The surrounding ponds, rivers and groomed trails are amazing. Beautiful views and a great housing community. Overall, the price and location are well worth the stay.

Quiet location convenient to nearby Towns

I stayed at the property solo but it would be a great location for a family as well with the three bedrooms. Quiet, clean, and roomy. This was a perfect launch point for me to get to El Jebel, Carbondale, and Aspen for my series of meetings. Check in and out was simple and the instructions were clear.
