À propos de cet hébergement

A partir de ce dernier étage condo front de mer redécoré, vous pouvez entendre les vagues déferlant sur les belles plages de sable blanc à quelques pieds de distance. Les écoles de dauphins et de troupeaux de pélicans sont parmi les écosystème dynamique, vous pouvez apprécier depuis le balcon ou sur la plage.

Notre confortable 3 chambres, 3 salles de bains appartement est meublé avec goût et équipées de toutes les commodités que vous attendez. Linge de lit, serviettes de bain, des ustensiles et d'autres éléments essentiels sont fournis afin que vous ne pouvez vous rendre à la maison dès votre arrivée.

Ce condo a été récemment rénové avec des planches de bois dans tout le condo, des comptoirs en granit, un nouveau lit king size dans la chambre principale et de nouveaux tentures et couvre-lits. Deux des salles de bains sont rénovées avec des douches en marbre.

Outre la plage, à seulement quelques pas de l'immeuble, vous pouvez profiter de la piscine ou faire du shopping à proximité, sports nautiques, ou le golf miniature. Être assez proche du centre de la ville permet un accès facile à certains des meilleurs restaurants sur la plage. Mais vous êtes assez loin de la ville de sorte que son bruit est jamais entendu parler.

Ceci est notre maison loin de chez soi, et nous espérons que vous trouverez autant de plaisir que nous faisons dans sa beauté et de détente.

Family getaway

The property was updated, freshly painted and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels and blankets. The view of the Gulf was perfect!

Amazing!! We loved the condo EVERYTHING!

Very easy to come and go, location, the condo was amazing for the 6 of us, my husband, my self, my 2 teenage daughters and parents, enough space having 3 bathrooms amazing, and having washer and dryer in the unit, and not to mention being right on the beautiful beach, we will be back!!

Great condo

This condo was spacious for a family of 8. The location was perfect! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Short walk to the beach and the pizza place across the street was amazing! The building was older but the unit was nicely updated. Very fast elevator and plenty of parking. The living room furniture was worn and sleeper sofa was very uncomfortable. Tv in every bedroom! The pool was small but luckily it wasn’t packed. I think there’s a hot tub listed under amenities but no hot tub. Overall a wonderful stay! This was our first time to Gulf Shores, we will definitely be back!

Great Stay - Gulf Shores Alabama

My family and I loved the accommodations as everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. The unit met all of our expectations by providing everything that we needed such as the kitchen being well stocked and plenty of towels. Having the washer and dryer provided an even extra comfort of home. The location was very close to resturants and shopping. It was awesome being able to walk directly out to the beach and always having a good spot to sit and look out at the gulf. Being on the top floor allowed us the ability to look up and down the beach and view way out in the gulf. I recommend anyone looking for a great stay to seriously consider staying here and just begin relaxing.

We had a blast! The condo was amazing and right on the beach. We originally had a group of 8 and at the time of the trip only 6 of us made it. Although 6 people fit just right there was a pull out that we didn't end up using, so definitely enough places to sleep 8!

Sweet week.

It was a crazy windy red and double red flag week. Since we couldn’t enjoy the ocean we enjoyed the pool a lot. Since the beach is so close we could hear and see the ocean almost like being on the beach. The kitchen is well stocked which was fabulous since we don’t like to waste much time eating out with a big group. We rented 2 condos here which was awesome. I wish I had know the beach was this close I would have brought my 84 year old mother. The short walk to the beach was amazing. The condo is newly remodeled and very clean as well. Love the showers. Also the water pressure is awesome as well. We made the best out of the week as you can tell and had a wonderful time with our grandkids.

The home was amazing. We came here for Spring Break. It was nice to sit on the balacony with a cup of coffee and just listen to the ocean. There are several attractions that are close. Our kids enjoyed fishing from the beach. There is a pizza place right across the street and they are amazing. Cant wait to come back

Pros and Cons

Pros first: Great location, quiet and near lots of restaurants and stores. Ample parking. View from the balcony was amazing. Kitchen well stocked for cooking any meal. Lots of plates and glassware. Nancy was easy to communicate with. Cons: Bathrooms are very small- little space to put toiletries. Some of the bed linens and towels were old, while others were new. We did not use many of the pillows on the beds, as they needed to be replaced.

I felt like an owner and not a guest with all codes for access to room, pool, and exercise room!! I did not need to contact owner during stay because everything was just as listed and there was an on location contact if needed, but was not needed! The view was amazing… I felt like I could walk out of the back master bedroom window right onto the beach…it is that close!!! And we have been traveling to this area yearly for 30 years and have stayed most everywhere… but we will definitely return here. Location, view, accessibility, cleanliness, affordability!! Beautiful condo, Breathtaking views

I spent a week at Tropical Winds 801 and it was like home for me. I was hosting a retreat for 20 women and this was homebase for me and my staff. I loved getting up each morning and having coffee on the deck. The walks on the beach are beautiful and awe-inspiring. communication was quick and so thoughtful. And the condo is well equipped. This is a GREAT deal -- book it now!

We love Tropical Winds

The previous guests had left the condo a huge mess, and there was a mixup on our arrival date. The owner was extremely cooperative and flexible. She offered several alternatives, and by noon of the second day all was well. We love the Tropical Winds, having stayed there 20+ times. This unit is wonderful. The owners love their property, and it shows. The beach was smaller than we have ever seen it, but the city has started a huge program to restore it.

The tub in the 2nd bath did not drain well. The refrigerator and stove both need to be replaced. The unit was great except fir the items above. Our stay was 18 days and we paid for a premium unit and it was wonderful except for the frudge

Useful Tips

The condo was very roomy & nice. We were disappointed with the beach somewhat, as there was terrible erosion to the point you could not have canopies, only umbrellas. This would have been nice to know, as we had to leave, go to Walmart & buy large umbrellas (to help with shade for toddlers). We were also under the impression beach chair rentals were available, but a bit expensive, if you didn’t want to bring your own. We however never found any rentals at this complex so we again had to go buy 2 chairs. There were only 3 carts for the entire condo building guests to share between when needing to check in/out. Overall we had a great time. These are just some things to be aware of if you are coming anytime soon 😊

We bought a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom condo at Tropical Winds in 2006. After fixing it up, we enjoyed about 9 years there. Then we decided that we wanted a condo big enough to host friends and our grandchildren. I wanted to stay on the top floor because the view is so magnificent. Luckily, we found out that our sweet neighbors were planning on selling. So, in October of 2015, we sold our smaller unit and bought our new condo. We love being a corner unit so we can see sunrises in the east, as well as the blue gulf to the south and the west.
This condo, just like our last one, is truly our "home away from home." We tastefully decorate it with custom-made curtains, furnish it with everything we need to make it a comfortable home. However, that means that we are looking for guests who will treat our condo as if it were their own. Someone who will be gentle with granite counters, marble showers, and new cabinet doors. Someone who loves it as much as I do.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We chose to buy our vacation home at Tropical Winds in Gulf Shores because this area has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, with incomparable white 'sugar' sands. The nearly constant gulf breeze makes a day at the beach pleasant even on the hottest days and the water is a perfect temperature for recreation throughout the summer and fall. The broad expanse of beachfront at this building assures that you will not be crowded.
Our 32-unit condo building is kept clean and well maintained by very caring, friendly and attentive owners, so we feel like we are part of a community.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We spend most of our time relaxing and playing on the gulf beach. If we have our grandchild, we go to the zoo, waterpark, putt-putt, state park, or toy stores. There are many activities that you can pay for (like golf, boating or scuba diving).
Evenings are great! We love the food down here. I eat fresh seafood everyday, but my husband is a vegetarian and finds great offerings at any of my favorite restaurants. On rare occasions, we drive over to Orange Beach, Point Clear or Fairhope for a different atmosphere.
Everyday, rain or shine, is relaxing yet renewing. I treasure my time at the beach!
