The Lookout is nestled in the serene Dorcas Bay community, a stone's throw from the pristine sands of Singing Sands Provincial Parkâa locale celebrated for its inviting warmer waters, perfect for swimming and a plethora of recreational activities. Yet, what sets The Lookout apart is its proximity to the marvels of Bruce Peninsula National Park and the enchanting Grotto, offering an escape closer to these natural wonders than the quaint harbor village of Tobermory itself.
Tobermory, a gem on the Bruce Peninsula, is renowned for its vibrant harbor, Bruce Trail footpaths along the rugged Niagara Escarpment, and the mesmerizing Grotto in Georgian Bay. Adjacent to this is the Fathom Five National Marine Park, famed for its historic lighthouses, Flowerpot Island's iconic sea stacks, and a treasure trove of shipwreck dive sites.
In honoring the land on which we gather and explore, we recognize the traditional Territory of the Anishinabek Nation: The People of the Three Fires known as Ojibway, Odawa, and Pottawatomie Nations. We extend our gratitude to the Chippewas of Saugeen, and the Chippewas of Nawash, now known as the Saugeen Ojibway Nation, as the traditional custodians of this land.
The Lookout offers not just a retreat but a doorway to discoveryâwhere the wonders of the Bruce Peninsula are within easy reach, inviting guests to immerse themselves in the area's rich natural beauty and the vibrant community life of Tobermory.
