Within walking distance to everything Savannah has to offer, this three-story freestanding home, exudes a timeless appeal with a touch of history. With three full bedrooms, all featuring ensuite bathrooms, this charming home is perfect for couples or families. Harris House offers an open and airy ambiance, thoughtfully adorned with mid-century furnishings that radiate warmth and invite you to relax.

Upon entering, you'll be greeted by an open floor plan, perfect for hosting gatherings with friends and family. The living room is an ideal space to unwind, catch up on your favorite shows after a day of exploring the town, or engage in a lively game night with your fellow travelers. Adjacent to the living room, a formal dining room beckons, conveniently situated next to a well-appointed wet bar, making it an excellent spot for intimate dinners or even a productive workspace. Just beyond, the fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, ensuring you have all you need to prepare delicious home-cooked meals. A convenient powder room is also located on this floor to accommodate visitors.

Venture up to the second floor, where the primary suite awaits with a sumptuous king-sized bed, plenty of storage for your belongings, a smart television, and a spacious ensuite bathroom complete with a beautiful vanity. Harris House is a wonderful old house that has been beautifully redone. It has a good traffic flow, the kitchen is very well equipped and the whole house was meticulously clean! Beds and linens were very nice. 2 parking spots was a real bonus. Some of us had mobility issues, but for most, the house would be quite walkable in the historic district.

Terrible Management at Lucky Savannah

First let me say the property is great , clean and beautiful home. The Lucky Savannah property management is unprofessional . I reached out and asked if we could book an additional night and could I bring my family dog . They promptly responded with the couldn’t extend the stay but might be willing to allow the pet once I answered a few questions concerning the dog. So I responded with the answers to the questions and asked if we could get a late check out on Sunday being as we couldn’t extend the stay. They agreed in writing to both. I drove over 5 hrs to get to Savannah Friday afternoon . On Saturday as we are exploring Savannah I get a text message from the property manager to call her . I reach out and she says we see you have a dog on the ring camera and you need to remove the dog asap. I explained to the property manager that I asked and received permission to bring the dog and was approved for a late checkout Sunday. She said well I will allow the dog but I will not approve a late checkout. We I had booked a river cruise for all 6 in my party for 1 pm Sunday for 292.74 . Thinking we would pack up everything in the cars and leave before 1. She was very unprofessional and stated that they had new staff that wasn’t trained properly. Not surprising after speaking with her ( “the supervisor”). And he “must” be out. By 11am . I told her I would call to see if I could get the river cruise refunded and call back. Couldn’t get refunded and she wouldn’t return any of my calls.

The owners have thought of every detail you could possibly need. The home is comfy, cozy efficient and well located to historic areas.. it is furnished with functionality and comfort. We especially loved all the books, games provided and tvs in every room. The umbrellas for the rainy days were a bonus. Bedding was like in a 5 star hotel. Loved the back porch for morning coffee. Courtyard area was charming!

Perfect vacation in Savannah

We all had a wonderful 3 nights in Savannah. The house was in a great location- we walked everywhere, and the house itself was so comfortable and nicely decorated. Communication with property management was fantastic- easy and always helpful.

Great location!

Four of us stayed at the house for a weekend getaway. The house was clean, welcoming and in a great location. It was incredibly easy to walk to our destinations, wherever they were. We joked that everything is 6/10 of a mile from the house. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great property

We have no complaints about the property. Plenty of towels, pots and pans , pretty much anything you could need. Might consider providing a Keurig coffee maker.The two off street parking spaces was a huge bonus!With the unusually cold weather, walking to Riverwalk was not for us. We used Uber and the charge was only 7, so not bad. Would definitely stay there again.

Harris House

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First and foremost the property was beautiful, the homeowner has done a fabulous job with the decor. We were pleased with the home and the location, although it is quite a bit further from tourist areas than advertised. The property management office staff were rude and unprofessional. We were expecting Hurricane Helene to cause a disruption with our stay as we were traveling from Florida. We had to pay for one night ($400.00) that we could not use. We requested to move our dates forward for one day as the property was available. The management company would not even listen to my request and cut me off repeatedly. They were the rudest people I have ever dealt with. Customer service with this company is lacking, unprofessional, and not acceptable. We had travel insurance with the company that turned out to be useless in a hurricane. The second level air-conditioning quit working during our visit, we contacted the secondary number (Not the primary) for rental issues and the person on the other line was professional. A maintenance worker did arrive in a timely manner and fixed the air.The front door code lock did not work and the outside garbage had not been picked up in quite a while as it was overflowing and the recycle bin was full of yard trash. This was in the back of the house where we had to enter and smelled awful. I reported this to Lucky Savannah Management via text message on the first day we were there. They never replied to my text, which was NOT surprising.I would recommend this house to a friend only if they booked using another rental company. Do not use Lucky Savannah!!!!! I felt bad for the home's owner due to him having such a horrible company managing his home. There are too many other ethical companies to use in Savannah.

Reviewer Comments: From the minute the five of us walked into the Harris House we felt at home. Each bedroom is en-suite, entire house is tastefully decorated in mid-century modern, well maintained, and clean. As described the house is in the historic district making it easy to walk to many attractions and restaurants. The only time we used the car was to drive to Tybee Island. We enjoyed a hop-on-hop-off trolley tour, ghost tour at night, and a Savannah Riverboat Cruise, as well as the Savannah Visitor Center. Many terrific restaurants, bars, and book stores. So much to see and do in Savannah. We’ll definitely visit again and won’t hesitate to stay at the Harris House.

Beautiful Home Close to Historic Savannah

The property was exactly as advertised, perhaps better. Within walking distance of all of historic Savannah and the river front. Home was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated with mid-century modern furnishings and decor. Plenty of space for six adults including three large bedrooms all with attached bathrooms and a 4th guest bath on the main floor. Nice outdoor space as well although we were too busy to take advantage of it. Neighborhood was quiet and we had no trouble finding parking on the street in front of the home, although there are also parking spots behind the house.
