Cozy, artsy home is located in the heart of the city of Lockport, where there's many historic landmarks, restaurants, coffee shops, and local bars within few miles of each other. The home is close to Niagara falls, Lewiston, Youngstown, Wilson, Olcott, Pendleton, Newfane, Gasport and less than one hour from Buffalo, NY.
It was amazingly welcoming and clean place to stay. Bed was super comfortable and I slept like a baby. The location was perfect for the activities that I did.
Great way to experience Lockport and Erie Canal History
My cousin and I spent four nights in this cozy comfortable home. Everything you need is there. Nice restaurants nearby, and central Lockport is only a few minutes away. This year marks the 200th anniversary of the completion of the Erie Canal. Experience the history with a canal boat ride, cycling canal trails, and visiting museums! Host is friendly, helpful, and responds rapidly to any communications :)
In town for a hockey camp and tired of hotels. Loved having a house to call home for the week. Host was organized and communicated well. Cozy home, beautiful art and plants/garden.
The home is very cozy, clean, comfortable. We love the live plants and the artwork all around the home. We ate out every meal, but coffee and creamer supplied was spot on. Necessary amenities are well supplied. Location is center to all sight seeing, dining and shopping. We will come again. Thank you!!!!
Nice property, clean and well kept. We love the artistic theme and the Tudor style home with original restored architectural details. We did not enjoy the lack of air conditioning in the majority of the home. It was miserable most of the day-time and early evening hours with the main floor at 84 degrees, which isn't comfortable at all.
Everything was very nice. Had to kill a few (6-7) large black ants. That was very concerning.LOVE the artwork throughout the house. Thanks,Tom & Stacey
The location is superb. The house has an art feeling which personally I love.We stayed there as a family of 4 and visited Niagara and nearby areas.Lots of food places, grocery stores for any meal you want to cook. Lovely stay
Stayed two nights. Arrived, adorable cottage, clean and furnished with charm. Driveway is tricky, turn around in driveway so you donât have to back into street. Would recommend!
Property was comfortable and full of thoughtful details. The host communicated on a timely basis and was exceptionally courteous. Keypad worked well and was easy to understand.
Missing basics: no soap, shampoo, waste basket in bath. Cant believe i have ever stayed anywhere where these things we not provided. Seriously, for the money...com' on. Also no complimentary coffee? Yet there were two tokens to get a free drink at local pubs.
The house was nice, but located on a busy street. That becomes an issue if you have a house with no air conditioning and bedrooms are upstairs. Gets warm. Fan in one bedroom. But opening windows results in a lot of street noise. Too much noise for me.
Downstairs the floors are coveref in area rugs. Talk about trip hazards especially the one in hallway from dining area to kitchen . Watch out for the hump. We stumbled over it numerous times.
The driveway while adequate was narrow and was juxtaposed to the neighbor's with a good drop off between the two. Certainly not a game stopper but made me unwilling to back out of the drive. Turning around was tight maneuver.
I'll be back to area but wont stay there again.
