THIS IS THE PLACE TO COME - THE PLACE IS VERY KID FRIENDLY - WITH PLENTY FOR THE ADULTS TO DO. !!- Hot tub to die for? Enjoy a TASTY steak on grill, chill out on the 70ft deck overlooking the beautiful lake. Or maybe the blackout curtains are perfect for a peaceful nap or a good night’s sleep. Kids can enjoy their own private clubhouse that has a lot of things to keep them busy., rock wall, a loft to lay around or camp out - - big screen TV with WIFI to play video games or watch a scary movie with their BFF- comes with smoke alarms, security locks & cameras so mom can eaves drop if wanted. Fill your self with laughter on the tire swing, be swept off feet. Adults can enjoy a private hot tub- overlooking the lake -Enjoy the music with the WIFI speakers on deck. Or go down to the dock, relax & stretch out in the plenty of sunshine. The fish are pretty large - biggest so far was about 40 pounds, throw in a line and grab a monster.
We have canoes and kayaks for those who love to explore the water - Plenty of life jackets and paddles
if you really feel energetic, rent the motorboat and go tubing or water skiing.. lots of fun for the whole family..
After a long day of activities, relax around the firepit and roast some marshmallows or read your favorite book..
The mornings are my favorite, If your a bird lover, all the different species of birds fill the bird feeders and we also have corn to feed the ducks that flood the waterfront.. it's so peaceful... the children will love the wildlife here..
If the weather is nice, enjoy a movie in the yard - we have a projector and screen available ( WIFI) . Lots of fun to watch a Disney movie outside , with a tub of popcorn, just like the good old days.
Come and relax - Our lake house has everything you need.. cabinets are stocked with pots pans silverware, dishes and some food and spices. and all appliances needed.
Every kid that comes gets a choice of there favorite NEW beanie baby to bring back to their home to remind them of the GREAT time they had here in North Vernon Indiana..

Loved everything about the place the lake was great. Wish the play house was air conditioned cause it get hot even with the fan but was amazing will stay again

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The host is extremely kind and attentive. The accommodations and everything the property has to offer is remarkable. We will definitely be staying here again!

Awesome tucked away gem!

What a great place! We are a group of wrestling referees and were in town for a tournament. This was a fantastic place to hang our hats. Hoping to return some day to take advantage of the area.

Perfect Getaway

After a long school year we were ready to get away for some quality family time without the hustle and bustle. This location is super family friendly! We were able to go fishing, watch the birds, make s'mores, soak in the hot tub, play games, use the tire-swing, and emjoy the simple joys in life. We are so happy with our experience there and would recommend it to others.

Baseball Tourney Weekend

This place is a hidden gem. The host, Bobbi, provided all the essentials and even non essentials that made our stay outstanding. The view is beautiful, the activities endless, and just relaxing at the fire pit or hot tub at the end of a busy day with a glass of wine was perfect. We will definitely return, and soon!!

Perfect family getaway

Hostess Bobbi was very responsive. We felt very welcome with a bouquet of flowers and a gift basket. The kids had a lot of fun with board games and activities (like fishing, tire swing, clubhouse). Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and fire ring. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed; plus there was plenty of storage capacity for our stuff. It was nice to have extra towels for showering and hot tubbing. We would definitely stay again.

Absolutely Refreshing!

In this day and age of hidden fees and exorbitant cleaning costs Bobbi’s Cozy lakehouse was an absolute gem. First of all it has everything, lake hot tub ducks bonfire streaming, games, I could go on. Bobbi is very thoughtful and not only does she communicate well but she leaves little surprises like food to cook and gifts for those staying! This is an A+ property and I can’t wait to figure out a way to get back and book it again. Thanks for a great time!

Short Birthday Trip

We wanted a place to stay that was kid friendly and close to our softball tournament, well this was beyond what I was expecting! This house had so many activities and options for my kids and their friend! We didn’t have to leave the house except for food! Fishing, swimming, playhouse, fire pit, duck encounters, relaxing, this place has it all! We all loved it and the host was so helpful with all my questions. I’d recommend this to any and all families. What a wonderful space! .

Overall, we had a great time. There were a few inconveniences that we weren’t aware of before arriving, but we made the most of it. The lake recently did a fish kill, so there were dead carp everywhere. We did have the max amount of people staying and could really use the second bathroom that is currently under construction. However, the playhouse was a big hit with our 4 year old and the host left a goodie basket of stuffies and smore making supplies. Thank you for having us.

HI Shayla, Im sorry about the 3/4 bath that is undergoing an up grade.. however i believe that is mentioned in the details on site..you must of missed it and handful of fish that were ¹ the shore , was due to the change of water temps.. not a fish kill..they were a special type of bass that are tempermental to water temps White bass.. ...the lake is stocked with all sorts of fish, before you arrived i caught 2 huge bluegills and a massive catfish..the fishing here is great.. im sorry you had tp see the handful of fish on shore...
