Downtown Fargo- Historical Building- Pet Friendly!
Welcome to Fargo's thriving Downtown Community! Located on Roberts Steet and Roberts Alley, this historical building is a cozy retreat in the heart of entertainment and fine dining! You'll love the original woodwork, exposed original brick walls, original wood ceilings mixed with the perfect amount of a modern kitchen and bath.
The studio apartment was great! However if you are looking for a quiet place this might not work for you! The alley seems to be an area where people tend to congregate and the windows overlook the area! Otherwise it was great!
My mom and I stayed here while in town for the Fargo Marathon. I wanted to do a VRBO vs a hotel so I could prep my own meals the day before the race. The kitchen had all of the pots, pans & utensils I needed. We had some trouble with the fridge but got it sorted out.Overall, we enjoyed this property. The space was cozy with exposed brick, high ceilings, and exposed beams. The location was conveniently situated to shops & really great restaurants downtown. Lisa was responsive and checkin/checkout was a breeze.Things to bring with you:- If you do plan to use the kitchen, nothing has been left behind by previous guests, so youâll need to bring everything you need (salt, pepper, etc). - Toiletries - Unlike other properties where weâve stayed, shower gel etc is not provided. - As other guests have mentioned, youâll need to bring earplugs unless youâre a very heavy sleeper. There is a keurig and plenty of k-cups, which was great!
Great location downtown. Within walking distance of great restaurants and shops. Very limited parking on the street but the parkade down the block is free during weekends and evenings.
The location of the apartment is convenient to all we wanted to do...dining, shopping, visiting our daughter. The apartment was clean and ready for us.
Charming and clean! Loved the brick and the exposed beams. Great location downtown. Just one block of farmers market on Saturday.
Everything I needed, comfortable bed, kitchen, bath and closet. Nice updates and cute decor.
Here for a wedding, we loved being within walking distance from all that Fargo has to offer. The area was a little bit loud late night so bring your earplugs. My only suggestion would be to stock the kitchen with at least a few basic supplies like salt and pepper, oil, etc.
The great: I absolutely loved this space! It was very well stocked with everything I needed. There were extra towels, tissues, dishwasher soap, kcups, and etc. I stayed for 9 nights and appreciated the extra supplies. The bed was extra comfy and so were the chairs. Parking is on the street or the garage a couple of blocks down is only 8/day and free on weekends. I got in quite the routine of parking there and walking to/from the building everyday. I didn't get to try it, but there is a very nice restaurant on the first floor. It's also within walking distance of a lot of nice places to eat, shop, or grab a drink. The so-so: Since it's in a downtown area, it does have the element of people looking for handouts. It's like anywhere, just be aware of your surroundings. People do tend to congregate in the alley under the window so if you stay over the weekend, you might get the chance to hear drunk singing, lol. The checkin was a bit of a snafu but the host was able to get things sorted. It's an older building and sound carries but it's to be expected in a place like that. The last couple of nights, a cat kept yowling loudly and frequently. I'm not sure if it lived in the building.Overall, a very lovely place to stay. I so want a silky soft blanket like the rose one on the bed and the coffee mugs!
Very spacious, clean and comfortable apartment in an historic building in downtown Fargo. Just a short stroll to many choices for food and shopping. Easy on-street parking and a parking garage close by that is free on weekends. We very much enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the property. There is some noise from the city outside and some noise at times from the apartment overhead. But itâs an apartment with character in the downtown, and a fun place to stay.
Lisa's loft/condo/apartment is absolutely amazing and the location couldn't be any better. The bed is comfortable and it is furnished nicely and has everything you need to have a home away from home and is - literally - a walk out the back door from amazing restaurants not to mention the one right in the lobby! I would give this property 6 stars if I could. I'll be back for sure.
Cute, clean, comfy, and centrally located in downtown
Great stay! We stayed a weekend in Nov 2023. Super clean, new furniture, great layout, and lightning quick responses from Lisa on the few questions we had.
The location couldnât be better. Directly in the heart of downtown Fargo, which has an amazing variety of shops. Our favorite stops were Atomic Coffee, Orange Vinyl Records, Vinyl Taco, BDS Books (literally shelves and mountains of books), Fargo Theater, Main Market, and 46 North.
Very accommodating and it felt like our own little Fargo home while we were there. Would stay again!
