Hi Jim, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Throughout our communication from the beginning, I understood from you that you were upset with the cost of your stay. I explained that this particular weekend Gainesville was very in-demand and the prices from the pricing software I use to allow me to efficiently run my small business reflect that demand. My home and homes listed are always amongst the nicest but value-oriented homes available and I strive to always give the best value possible. I gave you many opportunities to even voluntarily cancel which is against my typical policy to try to work with you so you would have an outcome you would be happy with, but you chose to keep the reservation because it was still budget-oriented in comparison to the hotels listed and a wonderful solution (of what was available due to a last-minute cancellation) for you and your foster daughter. I am sorry, my cleaners charge me set-rate fees, it is not based on the level of cleaning they must conduct for a turn as we had discussed. So though I tried to convey my sympathy and understanding, and offering to help you if you preferred another outcome, you still wanted to proceed with the stay. I'm glad you enjoyed the home and its interior and had a very comfortable place to stay (albeit a shorter stay in your situation). I do appreciate your business, and even tried to make up for the extra value with early check in you had initially requested, but were unfortunately not able to ultimately utilize.
