Sogsbakki est une nouvelle villa moderne de 3 chambres de luxe situé dans Grimsnes, à 45 min. voiture de Reykjavik et 30 min. conduire à Geysir, Gullfoss et Thingvellir. La propriété dispose d'un design moderne et est très bien équipée dans tous les sens; Il est entouré de terrasses, avec sauna, jacuzzi extérieur, un barbecue en plein air (de gaz), meubles de jardin et un terrain de basket. Il ya trois chambres, un salon spacieux, salle à manger pour la zone pour 12 personnes, cuisine, salle de bain et salle de lavage. Dans la région il ya nombre de terrains de golf, des piscines, des sentiers de randonnée, des rivières de pêche et d'autres choses passionnantes. Le restaurant le plus proche est à seulement 5 min. s'en aller. Pls. notez que dans des conditions météorologiques extrêmes, le jacuzzi extérieur ne peut pas être utilisé.

Beautiful home in great location

We really enjoyed staying at Elin's cozy and modern home. Very welcoming and homey. Sometimes rentals feel like they are just rentals but this house felt like staying in a well cared for home. We had everything we needed, kitchen basics, linens, etc.. Only downside was we wish the Hotpot/Hot tub had been easier to use. We only got to enjoy it once on our 6 night stay but otherwise this place was great. Definitely recommend!

Excellent place to stay and great base to explore from

We had an excellent stay in Iceland. Just around the corner from Selfoss (easy for your grocery shop) and the main attractions from the golden circle are less than an hour’s drive away. The property is very tidy and cosy and Elin is a great host. Definitely a great place to stay

Iceland Day Trips

Property was perfect for day trips for the golden circle, snorkelling, lava cave and volcano hike, Sky Lagoon and glacier lagoon (long day). Came back to relax in the hot tub and sauna.

This couples property was great! They had all the amenities of home and it was centrally located for adventures in Iceland’s southern region. Could not have been more pleased with their hospitality, flexibility, and kind demeanor! Highly recommend this property for your travels.

Perfection

The location of this property is perfect! It’s close to Selfoss, all the main attractions of the Golden Circle as well as off the beaten path sights. It was so nice coming back to this cozy property after a long day of sightseeing to take in the beautiful surroundings and relax in the hot pot & sauna. The property owners go out of their way…literally, to familiarize you with the house and their country. I highly recommend this property.

Das Ferienhaus ist ideal gelegen, um in verschiedene Richtungen Ausflüge zu unternehmen. Der Wohnraum ist modern und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet. Einige Gewürze und Lebensmittel sind bereits vorhanden und können benutzt werden. Es ist jedoch schade, dass der Hot Tub jedesmal drei Stunden braucht um vollzulaufen. Der Kamin war leider nur der Deko.

Das Haus war wie beschrieben sehr schön und super ausgestattet. Die Lage war für uns perfekt. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin Elin sehr nett. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Insgesamt alles gut. Wir hatten hier einen sehr schönen Urlaub.

Selfoss house

We had a great stay at Elin's house. The location is perfect for exploring the Golden Circle and Reykjavik. The house was very warm and comfortable, with an extremely well-equipped kitchen which we made good use of. Elin and her husband met us and drove with us to the house which was much appreciated and she was only a phone call away if we had any questions or issues. Highly recommended.

Excellent Home Away from Home

Elin was very easy to work and communicate with. The house was very well appointed; we cooked a number of meals in the house. If any issues arose, Elin and her family were a call away. I’d highly recommend staying here and hope to do so again.

Outstanding in every way

Absolutely amazing! I first of all never leave reviews and secondly am the most neurotic person and nothing really meets my standards ever, except my own home. I felt completely at home here and the house is exactly as pictured—except it has the most amazing coffee machine that has sparked an addiction for me:) The sauna is beautiful. The house has everything you need and more. Plenty of condiments, towels, toiletries you may have forgotten, American charging plug adapters, etc. We spent a very long time researching where to stay in Iceland. This location is PERFECT! You’re less than an hour to Reykjavik which wasn’t of high interest to us. Being outside the city meant you were typically within 1.5 hours of EVERYTHING else you would want to see from Vik to Mt Esja and the erupting volcano. Elin was terrific to work with and extremely responsive. A+

Wonderful house in great location

A very comfortable house set in lovely surroundings - very peaceful and relaxing. We loved the hot tub and sauna! Elin was an excellent host, highly communicative as needed. The house is ideally placed for exploring the Golden Circle as well as easy access to the Blue Lagoon, 2021 eruption site and more. Highly recommend this place for a great blend of touring and relaxing.

Great house with perfect location

We had a wonderful stay - the house is very well set up for relaxing, cooking at home, and feeling away from it all, yet is located to make getting to all of the hikes and sites of Southern Iceland very easy. Extraordinary

Elin's house is a stylish and luminous home, cosy, warm and very inviting. We all (4 adults and 2 children) felt very comfortable during our wonderful stay in Iceland. The home is located in a very quiet area. It is equipped with every possible thing (and more!), so that it feels as if you were at home. I missed the house enormously once we had left! Absolutely to recommend!

Fantastic holiday home

This modern holiday home was the perfect base for our day tours into the wonderful nature of Iceland's southwest. Only 15 minutes north of Selfoss it offered all amenities we could think of. Besides a very appealing arrangement this included a well equipped open plan kitchen in a spacious living room, three bedrooms, lots of stowage space, a sauna, an outdoor hot tub with shower, laundry facilities as well as a Weber grill. Everything worked properly and was super clean. Elin (property owner) was very hospitable and reachable whenever needed. Even better, after our arrival in Iceland we met Elin's son in Reykjavik who guided us to the house where he gave us a comprehensive briefing. What else could we expect? Really nothing to complain about. We can fully recommend this holiday home!

We couldn't have been happier!

This was the perfect home base for our first trip to Iceland. Everything we wanted to do was a short drive away and the home itself was the most lovely thing to come home to after a long day of adventures. We will definitely be back! The only note we would leave is that the washer/dryer are not what we're used to back home -- some of us had packed very lightly hoping to do wash during the week -- but the washer takes hours to complete a cycle and the dryer does not really dry. This is totally fine -- only mentioning it so others know to pack a little differently. It did not take away from our trip at all! Don't hesitate to book this one. The owners are lovely and helpful and the home itself is a gem. Beds are all very comfortable. There are shades on the windows to help block the light in the summer and we found wearing a sleep mask did the trick. Thank you Elin!

Great house and the location was perfect. No more than a two hour drive to any of the secinic spots within the golden circle. Loved our stay the owner was great and easy to work with. I would suggest blackout currtans though.

We care greatly for our summerhouse and it's the best place we know to enjoy with our family and friends. Absoulutely the best place to relax and get in touch with nature which surrounds the place. We put great trust and faith in those who choose to rent our place and we do our utmost to maker their stay as enjoyable as possible.

This beautiful summerhouse is the perfect place to relax and enjoy being away from your everyday life both summer and winter. It's luxurious and beautifully designed. It's located 30-45 min. drive from many of Iceland's most popular places and surrounded with hiking trails and just few minutes walk from a salmon river.

The beautiful surroundings and the overall design of this place is irrisisteble and makes you feel welcome, relaxed and secure. During the summer you can enjoy the 24 hr light and the during the winter the Northern lights in the complete darkness. After a long day looking at beautiful sights you can relax in the sauna and make a delicious meal in the very spacious and well equipped kitchen.
