We’re sorry that some aspects did not meet your expectations. We continually update the home based on guest feedback and normal wear, including replacing furniture and adding amenities such as the foosball & pool tables. We recognize that our photos should reflect these changes & are updating the listing accordingly. This was an exceptionally busy summer with back-to-back stays, which limited the time available for non-urgent maintenance between guests. We appreciate you identifying the items requiring attention & our cleaning, maintenance & pool teams have been following up on them. The pool is professionally maintained, although the unusually frequent rainfall can temporarily affect water clarity and chemistry. We are also addressing the patio door, deck, shower, towels, supplies, appliance instructions and remote you mentioned. Regarding the garbage & recycling, collection is weekly, so bins may contain waste from the current collection cycle when guests arrive. We recognize that fuller bins can nevertheless be inconvenient & are reviewing how we manage this during busy periods. We appreciate your constructive feedback & we will use it to make further improvements. Most importantly, we’re pleased the location and space worked well for such a special family occasion.

In the weeks leading up to your stay, we hosted guests on three consecutive weekends, all of whom left 5-star reviews, specifically highlighting the cleanliness, comfort, and overall presentation of the home. Our property is professionally cleaned and inspected prior to every check-in. Additionally, as part of our standard process, we reached out the morning after your arrival to ensure everything was satisfactory. We did not receive any concerns or issues at that time, and no opportunity was given to address or resolve any of the points mentioned in this review, something we always prioritize for our guests. We take cleanliness and maintenance very seriously, and while normal wear and tear can occur in a large, high-traffic home, we continuously invest in upkeep to ensure a high-quality experience. The claims made here are not consistent with our inspection records or the feedback we consistently receive from other guests. We remain committed to providing a great experience for all guests and encourage open communication during stays so any concerns can be promptly resolved.
