Nestled in the woods, Leisure Lodge features large windows to see the beauty of north-central Minnesota in all seasons.

The lodge’s full kitchen features new, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, along with being stocked with coffee, tea, small appliances, dishes, glasses, flatware, baking and cookware. A list of all the kitchen includes for your cooking is sent to you prior to arrival.

•All king and twin XL mattresses are new Sealy hybrid mediums, with new high quality bedding, fully professionally laundered between each booking.
•All furnishings and linens are new with two types of pillows provided, gel and hypoallergenic filled.

•Indoor dining table features 10 chairs, plus a bench and a highchair.
•Outdoor dining table seats 10 on the deck connected to the main lodge.
•Additional exterior seating is available for boathouse deck and for the lakeside fire pit area.

•The main floor bathroom features a tub/shower, toilet/sink and a full size LG washer and dryer.
•The main floor features two bedrooms, each with king beds.

•The lower level bathroom features a ceramic tile shower, toilet and urinal and sink.
•The lower level has a private area with a king bed and a queen sofa sleeper in the family room area.

•The upper level bathroom features a Jacuzzi tub, ceramic tile shower, toilet and sink.
•The upper level features a bedroom with a king bed, plus two twin xl’s in it. The portable crib is stored here. The loft area outside the bedroom has two additional twin xl beds, with a privacy screen provided.

•The lower level custom hickory bar features space for your entertaining and a refrigerator. The lower level provides walkout access to the lakefront.

•Two 65” HD Smart televisions are in the lodge, one on the main floor and one in the lower level are connected to basic cable plus you can connect to your favorite streaming apps.

•Indoor board games, a small selection kids’ toys, crayons, colored pencils, coloring books and balls and outdoor yard games are provided.

•An outdoor Nordic hot tub is available for guests, year-round. Rules are posted at the lodge and sent out to guests prior to arrival.

•The private lodge dock is available for guest use from spring ice out through September, inquire with questions.
•You are provided two kayaks for your use seasonally along with a couple of sizes of life jackets.
•Inquire on available pontoon rentals during your summer stay.
•An outdoor fire pit is provided and indoor gas fireplace creates a cozy space.

•For spring through fall guests, there’s nearby premier golf courses, a picturesque state park and fabulous hiking, bike, trails across Crow Wing County.
•For winter guests, three pairs of snowshoes are available for guest use, along with nearby snowmobile trails and cross-country ski trails.

•The lodge has six steps to its entrance and there is an exterior elevation change to and from the dock, with stone steps.

•Inquire with hosts Katie and Hunter with specific mobility and accessibility questions.

•Guests have full access to the lodge except a storage room. Guests have Upper South Long Lake private access from the shore and dock.

•If you are bringing your own boat, let hosts Katie and Hunter know and they will send directions for public boat access.

•A local family-owned cleaning company professionally cleans the lodge prior to your arrival, launders ALL linens between guests off-site and does maintainence at Leisure Lodge. The hot tub is professionally maintained and treated weekly. Your cleaning fee goes directly to them.
•Book the pet fee to bring up to two dogs with you on your stay. You bring your own leashes and dog kennels. We provide one dog dish, a blanket dogs can lay on, pooper scooper and bags for waste clean up.
•A 24’ x 38’ unheated garage is available for indoor parking as well as the driveway.
•Artisan-spring fed water supplies the lodge and has since the home was built. Water quality and flow is safe and tested. If you were to run showers, washing machine, dishwasher simultaneously, water flow will slow down or stop for up to 15 minutes until the natural reservoir fills again in the well.
•The lodge is located in a natural wooded, lakeside environment, with loons calling on the open lake, acorns, leaves and seeds dropping on the deck and walkway and there are bugs, although two elevated decks helps keep seasonal mosquitoes away.
•Located in a rural area, less than a mile from beautiful public snowmobile and bike trails, you may hear the sounds of ATV’s, snowmobiles, etc.
•The nearest big box shopping or grocery stores are a 15-25 minute drive into Brainerd/ Baxter. A gas station/convenience store is about 10 minutes.
