We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful Quincy home! The house was large and fit everyone comfortably, and the location couldnât be more perfect. The kids loved swimming out on the lily pad, and we all enjoyed watching the gorgeous sunsets each evening. Being able to walk to the restaurant and ice cream shop was such a great bonus. Lindsay was so understanding, easy to reach, and helpful whenever we had questions. We are so thankful for the experience and would love to return!
We have rented many places over the years but never had an experience that made us feel like we were âat home.â The house is amazing, location was central to everything and our host Lindsey has thought of everything and then some. We were sad when half of our party couldn't make the trip because this house would have been amazing for our large group. Hopefully our group can come back and book here again! Thanks again Lindsey for your home and all the extra touches you provided that goes above and beyond!
This house was beautiful, fully equipped and perfect for our family vacation to the area. The location is great and the owner was very communicative throughout our stay as needed. I would highly recommend staying here. It was very clean, and everything it promised to be and more!
The house was great, fully furnished with everything you could need, super clean and tastefully decorated. Owners veey welcoming & responsive. Quiet neighborhood, views of bay and Boston skyline.
This house is unique and amazing. You are right on a quiet beach! Watching the tides, the Boston cityscape and the sunsets every night was incredible. We walked the beach everyday and found shells and sea glass. The house is brand new, has an amazing open layout, is beautifully decorated and has views from almost every window. The house is fully stocked with everything we needed for an amazing week vacation. We loved exploring at low tide, if you have kids, bring flashlights and look for crabs on the sandbars at night. We swam at high tide in front of the house and paddled in the canoe and kayak to the rocks in the bay at low tide. We had great meals on the huge deck at sunset then bonfires on the beach. There is a park around the corner with a baseball diamond, hockey boards and basketball net. It is a short drive to Boston for everything it has to offer and Quincy is closer for groceries and restaurants. Lindsay was great and super responsive to any questions we had. This place is too good to pass up.
Lindsay was the best possible host! She was friendly and professional and super quick to respond to all my questions. And her home is so beautifully decorated. It was great being right on the water, watching the tide rise and fall...
My whole family which includes adult children, their spouses, and 1 grandchild, all stayed in this property together. The house was even more beautiful than the pictures, and the view of the ocean and downtown Boston is stunning. We enjoyed hanging out on the beach and the 2 different decks attached to the house. Lindsay is a great host, even finding us a pack and play for the grandbaby before we arrived. The house is well stocked with everything you could ever need, and every detail has been thought of. Would definitely stay here again.
We loved everything about this property! The house was not only gorgeous but the views were stunning! The house was well equipped and we loved that it was a corner property so our pups had a little yard, as well as the beach. The owner was so nice and helpful and we would not hesitate to book again! We highly recommend!!
This property is fabulous. Itâs just as pictured. Overall it was clean, more than well stocked and comfortable. Beds are comfortable and we cooked in the well stocked kitchen with ease. Itâs probably one of my favorite VRBO rentals along with a property in Maine. Close to Boston and we had the beach to ourselves most of the stay. I would definitely rent it again. Host definitely knows hospitality. Thank you Lindsey for sharing your property with us!
The listing does not do this property justice. It is beyond everything you see. We are a group of 9 women who get together annually (for the past 20 years or so), in a different city every year. We almost always rent a house. None of the houses we have rented in the past can come close to this house. Everything was top notch. There is a well equipped gourmet kitchen, plenty of comfortable places to
sit and relax, extremely comfortable beds with soft, high quality sheets and blankets, bathrooms with large, thick, soft towels, hairdryers, shampoo, conditioner, a variety of soap and plenty of toilet paper (most places provide one roll per bathroom). The house is lacking nothing and if you need to speak with the owner, she makes herself completely accessible through email, text and phone (and responds very promptly). What a difference from a rental that is managed by a ânon-ownerâ. Lindsay (the owner), went above and beyond by rearranging beds, researching public transportation options for us, recommending great restaurants and even leaving us bakery cookies with a happy birthday balloon (she was aware that we were all turning 70 this year). The house was easy to find, easy to get into, had fast internet, working TV stations (as opposed to most places that only have streaming and you need to put your own password in). Check-out was a breeze, just close the door and lock it (most places want sheets put in the washer, garbage taken out, etc). RENT THIS PLACE NOW!
My children and I stayed at this beautiful house while we were in town for my graduation. Since it was graduation weekend, hotel prices were highly inflated, so I decided to treat my family with a stay on the water, and I do not regret it!
This house is simply stunning, and the views are incredible. We traveled in and out of the city via Uber, and had no issues getting transportation when we needed it. The owners were thoughtful and easy to communicate with, and even had a balloon and some delicious cookies waiting for us when we arrived as a congratulations on the graduation.
The house had everything we needed and moreâŠwe didnât want to leave! Highly recommend this place for a family getaway that is beautiful and comfortable, with all the convenience of Boston nearby.
The beach front home in Quincy was all we could ask for. Impeccably clean, modern and comfortable. The scenery was awesome. There wasn't anything we needed that was not provided in the house. Lindsay was great to work with! We would definitely stay here again.
What an absolute gem of a house in a wonderful location. We were 30 minutes to downtown Boston by car and the bus to the train depot was only a few hundred yards from the house. We took the train into Boston and it was an easy way to get downtown. The view from the back deck was stunning as you could see Boston across the bay all lit up at night and it was beautiful. The house was new and very large but comfortable. The furnishings were all top notch and the master bathroom was off the charts wonderful. My wife loved the heated floors in the master bath! This was such a wonderful experience and it was in December! I can't imagine how wonderful it is in the summer. Quincy was a wonderful town and the locals were very welcoming and quick to provide suggestions. We will stay here everytime we are in the area as I can't imagine finding a better place to stay considering the location, house and area!
We enjoyed a fun thanksgiving week in the house with a great view of Boston across Quincy Bay. The kitchen was well equipped, the rooms were comfortable, and the gas fireplace provided warmth on cold days. Plenty of toys if you bring kids and amenities for enjoying the outdoors, and a beach to explore at the bottom of the stairs! Would certainly come back.
Our arrival was smooth sailing with clear instructions and easy entry. The home is impeccable with so many upgrades. Spacious with beautiful views. Our host went out of their way to ensure we had what we needed with clear home instructions. It is absolutely perfect for a family with small children. Beautifully decorated and wonderful to cook meals for a large group.Great linens. Quiet beachfront location with a park on the top of the peninsula walking distance. We had a great time looking for shells and sitting by the fire pit. Our family consists of myself, spouse, our 6 kids ages 23-16 and my mom in law. Pls note 2 of the bedrooms upstairs with twin beds are for young children. The beds are very low to the ground and a bit small for our âadult sizeâ children.
We had an amazing stay overall. 5 stars âïž
When we arrived at the home it immediately exceeded our expectations. The pictures simply can't do the view justice. The decor is beautiful. The master and master bath are straight out of an HGTV show. The kitchen and living area are amazing. And then there's all the thoughtful little touches like board games and toys and binoculars. The host's clearly paid attention to detail & didn't want to just create a rental, but a home.
The location is fabulous. You feel like you're away from it all as the location is a corner lot on a waterfront road that only has a few other homes on it. It was perfectly quiet as we sat out on the back porch for dinner each night and then hopped in the hot tub and enjoyed the stars and the view of the Boston skyline. Our girls loved looking for shells and skipping rocks on the beach. We took the canoe out several times and had a blast paddling around. We built a fire in the fire pit and had smores. Nut Island is also a short walk and we walked the loop around it several times enjoying the stunning views and beautiful flowers.
Even as it feels so secluded it's a quick drive into Boston or you can drive and take the T to avoid traffic. We also drove to the Hingham ferry terminal one day and took the ferry into Boston which our girls got a kick out of. Quincy itself has some great restaurants and stores and if you head South you aren't far from Plymouth and the Cape.
What can I say other than stop thinking and just book it. You won't regret it.
