I have owned this residence now for 15 years. Nothing beats taking a short drive and sitting in the woods without the need to pitch a tent or drag a camper around. The cabin just sits there most of the time not being used so I thought I would try renting it out to off set the costs of owning it. Please help me take care of it by cleaning up after yourself so others can enjoy the property when they arrive. All cooking and eating utensils are present. The dish washer no longer works it will not pump any water out of it so dishes have to be done manually. Ice box is newer, hot water heater is new and the master bath has new tile installed.
Very quiet, area of nice homes. I used to have a place in the camp ground at the lake but it started getting over crowded with people so I finally thought it would be wise to buy something else. The neighborhood is mostly retired people so please try to have fun while not bothering others. Observing a quiet time of 10 pm or so when your outside will ensure the neighbors donât bother you during your visit. The back deck is screened in, itâs a nice place to hang out in the evening.
While itâs not lake front, the neighborhood has a private boat launch and I own a private dock in a no wake cove. Itâs good fishing and a great place to tie your boat up. We are very close to several state parks, the wine trail and giant city state park for hiking. They have live music every weekend on the dam road at a bar/bait shop called just add water as well as the resort in the southern part of the lake.
