Highland Red House - NEW construction luxury lodge with Mountain Views

We designed the experience at Highland Red House with a focus on luxury furniture and linens, with tons of things for kids and families to do inside and out. Our goal for your stay is that you feel connected to the mountains and nature, while staying in a high quality space with all the elevated comforts of a luxury home. The property is privately managed by our family and we maintain strict standards for cleanliness and inventory. This is our soft launch while we are waiting for items to arrive with a full launch scheduled in early 2024.

Located 17 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and 15 minutes to Lake Blue Ridge, you are close to all the local adventures, but tucked away if you want privacy and quiet.

With 106,000 acres of Chattahoochee National Forest, 300 miles of hiking trails and 100 miles of trout streams, Blue Ridge is the perfect place for a family vacation or getaway. The area has consistently been ranked as one of the South’s Best Mountain Towns.

There is something for everyone in this vibrant town: Take a ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, following the Toccoa River to the town of McCaysville. Sample craft breweries, wineries, upscale shops, galleries, and restaurants. Hike to a local waterfall on the Appalachian Trail, tube or kayak the Toccoa or go whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River. Or just enjoy the quiet space to spend time with family and friends.

Highland Red House has 3 king bedrooms, 1 queen bedroom, and a pair of twin-sized bunks to accommodate a total of 10 guests. Three bedrooms have en suite full bathrooms and the primary bath includes a luxurious free-standing soaking tub.

All bedrooms have smart streaming TVs, closets with luggage racks, ceiling fans, and new Nest mattresses with Standard Textile duvet covers and linens. We believe your sleep is important and chose high-end mattresses and luxurious sheets to provide maximum comfort. All towels and linens are provided, as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We use EcoBee smart thermostats to maintain easy to use and comfortable interior climate control. All showers include rain head shower heads.

The family room has comfortable seating for your entire group, a stone gas log fireplace, and smart streaming TV. Step outside to the spacious covered upper deck, spanning the full width of the house. Six estate rocking chairs are the perfect spot for sipping your morning coffee while enjoying the wooded tree-top scenery, a gas fireplace, and the crisp mountain air.

Downstairs you will find a second entertainment space with comfortable seating, a smart streaming TV, the third and fourth bedrooms, two full bathrooms, dozens of games, and a beverage bar, beverage fridge, and sink. It opens up to a large covered lower deck with fans. Relax in the luxurious twin sized swing beds after a full day of exploring. Roast s'mores around the outdoor firepit (we provide a starter set of firewood) in the 4 Adirondack chairs with side tables.

In the kitchen, you will find everything you need to cook a gourmet meal. We have a beverage station with a Keurig coffee maker stocked with k-cups, sugar, cream, and various teas with honey. We provide cooking essentials such as oil, salt, pepper, and some spices. We believe you should arrive ready to relax, not be worrying about what necessities you need during your stay or running out to buy firewood. We've got you covered on all the basics and more!

We love hosting families with kids! There are games, puzzles, and toys to enjoy. We also provide a pack ’n play with sheets, a high chair seat, and kids plates, bowls, cups, etc.

Our smart streaming TVs provide endless entertainment options via your subscription to Netflix on all the major streaming platforms. For those who need to get a little work done, we have Starlink Residential high speed wi-fi and good cell phone service.

The driveway has parking space for at least 5 vehicles (2 covered, 3 uncovered) and includes a Tesla charger. We have two laundry rooms available for guest use and we provide some detergent to get you started. The front entrance and back of the property are monitored by security cameras. The side door (by the parking structure) is accessible with a keypad for self check-in.
