A serene Norfolk retreat for up to 10 guests, featuring 4 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and a relaxing back yard with hot tub! Enjoy the cozy living room, peaceful front porch, or the pergola-adorned backyard with fire pit. Bright and welcoming, with a fully stocked kitchen and dining table for 8 plus a kitchen island. Within walking distance to downtown, Johnson Park, and right across the street from the North Fork river and Norfolk's newly opened White Water Park! Perfect location for a couples getaway, friends gathering, a mini staycation, or even special family events! Stay includes the use of 4 kayaks during the summer months!

The space
Charming details fill this entire home. The central living room has plenty of seating and a smart TV for your entertainment. The kitchen is well equipped and has an island for extra storage and entertaining. Main floor has 2 bedrooms including primary suite with king bed, smart TV, and blackout curtains. Secondary bedroom has queen bed and built in desk.

Basement is fully finished and has second living room with cozy sectional and smart TV, game room area with second dining space and Murphy bed, 2 bedrooms (one with queen bed and the other with full bed), full laundry room, secondary kitchen and 1/2 bath.

Will discount for stays over a month.

This is a very cute cottage like home that’s in a wonderful area in Norfork. Right near a small crack, bike path, and grocery store. All the amenities were in the house and the AC ran well.

Wonderful Property for Family Gathering

This property is adorable and has a great layout for family gatherings. It is well-equipped and very clean as well as is located across the street from one of the entries for river rafting which was fun and convenient for our family. The owner was very responsive and helpful during our stay when we had questions. The only issue we ran into was it was advertised as a 2 bathroom home, however it truly only has 1.25 bathrooms which we still would have stayed but it made it a challenge with 10 of us staying there to only have one true bathroom. Also it would have been nice to have a complimentary soap/bathgel for the shower as we did not bring our own. Overall though, I would highly recommend this property and stay there again, we would just bring a few extra toiletries the next time, which isn't a huge deal.

House was fine except the central did not work and the owner was called, and she stated it was fixed but the house would be 80 plus when we tried to go to bed so did not get a good night sleep all three nights we stayed!!!!

Family Weekend

The areas in this home give you lots of room to gather together, or spread out and have your own space, or have work meetings on your computer. The kitchen and bathrooms needed a few more items. With having the maximum number of family members 10/11, staying for the weekend, we had lots of coffee drinkers, and with two pod coffee makers, one upstairs and one downstairs, there were only 4 coffee cups. We had to keep washing them, for the next person. Also there was No Body Wash or Bars of Soap, for the shower, or napkins. We went out and bought these items as well as extra toilet paper, because we thought we would run out. These are just some suggestions that would help make the stay at this cottage even better.

You will love the vibe of the house, the space it offers, and it's convenient location to Downtown Norfolk and the newly redeveloped Riverfront with white water rapids!
