EMPLACEMENT, EMPLACEMENT, EMPLACEMENT! Emplacement spectaculaire, sur le 10e fairway à Oxmoor Valley sur le sentier RTJ, à seulement 175 mètres du club-house! Notre maison (OSTER GOLF HOUSE "Palmer") a été récemment construite spécialement pour les groupes. Nous combinons l'intimité d'une résidence personnelle avec les équipements de première classe des beaux hôtels. Nous avons 3 maisons de golf Oster sur la même rue, pour accueillir des groupes de toutes tailles!

Nous avons conçu notre maison pour les groupes, il y a donc de nombreuses commodités spéciales, notamment: 4 suites parentales, chacune avec une salle de bain attenante et deux lits queen-size (8 lits au total). Les grandes douches à l'italienne sont finies en travertin italien et les vanités ont des comptoirs en marbre. Le plan d'étage ouvert offre une grande salle avec une télévision à écran plasma de 60 pouces, une table à manger / poker avec des sièges pour 8 et une salle de billard séparée avec une table de championnat Brunswick. Chaque chambre dispose également d'un téléviseur HD 42 pouces.

La cuisine entièrement équipée est suffisamment spacieuse pour de nombreux cuisiniers, ou vous pouvez engager l'un de nos chefs personnels pour préparer des repas pour vous. La terrasse extérieure, donnant sur le 10e trou, est parfaite pour se détendre, siroter un verre de vin ou faire griller des steaks. Aucune dépense n'a été épargnée et aucun détail n'a été négligé.

Notre maison est de 3200 pieds carrés de luxe. Nous offrons la meilleure expérience au meilleur prix. Everything was wonderful! Loved the location the lay out of the house was perfect for seven adults and we enjoyed the back porch. Came in from Texas for a funeral and were able to relax without worry. Very peaceful.

This house has anything and everything you need for a golf trip. We had 8 guys who all had their own queen beds. There was plenty of amenities to keep us busy when we were off the course. We will be back!

Last Minute Christmas Stay

My family had to scramble to find a place to stay to get together for Christmas after our parents came down with COVID and we could not stay at their house. Truly the perfect place for our extended family. Plenty of space to stretch out, well stocked kitchen, quiet neighborhood, very clean and easy check-in. I highly recommend!

Ricks house was absolutely beautiful and in a stunning location outside of the city of Birmingham. It was comfortable, clean and safe. Parents and coaches had the opportunity to golf on the beautiful course in the community and was an easy commute for us and our players to their games. I’d stay here every year when in town for the event!

Wonderful wedding weekend!

Rick, I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed staying at your oster golf house. Being in your home made our family wedding weekend much more comfortable, pleasant, and relaxing. Plus, the pool table allowed for hours of entertainment And fun family competition. Not to mention how close we were to the Barn and the resort for the wedding and its festivities. I was so happy to be a small part of your wonderful wedding festivities. "The Barn At Shady Lane" is a beautiful wedding venue, located down the street from my house. Instead of scattering family members across hotel rooms, many people reserve my home for out of town guests. Sometimes the bridesmaids (and / or the bride) will spend the night and get ready in my house. I guess the secret's out; my house isn't just for golfers :)

My best idea ever!

Had family and friends stay for football, golf, & food! This place was perfect for all of it! Plenty of parking! Slept 16 comfortably if needed! Grill was great! TV was great! I have referred several people already & the house was also posted to the golfalabama Instagram page. Can't wait to visit the prattville houses!

Fabulous Stay

My sisters and I spent the weekend in the Oyster Golf house to celebrate my 42nd birthday and from my arrival till check out we could not be more please. The space was very accommodating. The sceneries of the golf course was spectacular! Roomy bedrooms with their own bathroom was perfect. The kitchen was the wow factor for the house. We spent most of our time in the kitchen. It was very clean equipped. We even played a little pool. Fun, fun,fun.The iPod doc station in every room was great and we really enjoyed listening to music in the living room. I can not say enough about this house. I must say the owner Rick was easy to contact for any questions I had. What a Fabulous stay!

There's nothing better than hanging out in a comfortable home, having fun with family. One word that I use to describe what happens inside my houses is "camaraderie". Gorgeous Getaway!

This beautiful property is absolutely anything you could ever want for a relaxing, wonderful family and friends gathering! We had the extra beauty of being surrounded by snow as we looked out at the gorgeous golf course from the huge windows! There is more than enough room with each of the 4 bedrooms having 2 queen beds and each bedroom having a beautiful bathroom with gorgeous walk in steam showers! The kitchen is wonderfully equipped with everything you could need for wonderful meals and delicious grilling! There is a lovely pool table, a putt putt area inside, a chess table and a poker table set up with chips to keep everyone entertained! There is a very comfortable living area with a huge screen television and each bedroom also has its own television! There are plenty of fresh towels and the water was so warm and inviting for the showers during our wintry stay! There is a lovely screened in porch with very comfortable, cushioned patio seating that overlooks the golf course! Do yourself a favor and look no further than this beautiful home for your next Birmingham getaway!

Perfect place for guys golf get-a-way

So glad we found this house for 50th birthday golf get-a-way. The house is perfect set up for 8 guys (or girls). Bedrooms and bathrooms are perfect size for 2 people. Living area and kitchen are ideal for hanging out, watching TV, eating, playing cards and cooking. Pool table is a bonus and we played every night. Kitchen is well stocked and we cooked in 2 nights. Gas grill on the deck came in handy. Covered porch was great for late night hanging out. House even has 2 laundry rooms and we used both of them. Location is very convenient to Oxmoor Valley and Ross Bridge. We even drove to Prattville one day. All of the courses were great. Rick was very accommodating and helpful. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to RTJ Trail.

This house is awesome. Very spacious and very clean. The owner is very prompt to respond.

My family and I (husband, 3 grandkids, my daughters an my son along with two other friends were a part of my group. My children did not stay the entire weekend, but we were very comfortable and enjoyed the comfort of everything. The bedroom suites are huge!!. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, drink ware, dinner plates , cook ware etc. We brought our food and had fun grilling and just hanging out. The grandkids also had the chance to bake brownies and cupcakes. They also enjoyed the karoke system. We are planning to return next year. If you have a large party and planning to be in the B'ham area, try to stay here if you can. I understand now why the calendar is nearly full. Great place. Mary/Doug Parnell

Excellent for a guys golf trip

Everything was great! Owner was helpful, friendly, responsive. Good quality house. Clean. Plenty of space for 8 guys. Beds were comfortable. Nice amenities and finishes (5 plasma TVs, wifi, screened in porch, 2 washer/dryers, 2 AC units, etc.). Everything was as nice as advertised. We also used it as home base for visiting Tuscaloosa for the Alabama game. Only downside is proximity to retail and restaurants was just a little farther than we'd have liked....but was definitely manageable. Also, since the house is new, address was not easy to find by navigation system. We knew this ahead of time, but it did cause some challenges/delays with having food delivered or taxi pickup. We got through it, but it would have helped if the owner had a list of these services that are good, close by, and easy way to explain (or that knew how to get there). Not something we expected necessarily, but would have been a nice touch. Overall, EXCELLENT. If and when we go back to the RTJ Trail, we'd definitely stay at this house again. Thanks so much Rick!

Thank you, John, for giving us the highest rating possible! It sounds like you guys had a great time. For future guests, there are numerous restaurants and retail stores close to the house. The Ross Bridge Resort is 1.2 miles away and has two good restaurants. In fact, they have one of the best breakfast buffets you'll ever find. If that doesn't interest you, the following places are less than 5 miles from our front door, on Lakeshore Parkway: Landry's Steakhouse, Hooter's (just sayin), Bruno's Supermarket, Starbuck's, Overtime Sportsbar & Grill, Outback Steakhouse, IHOP, WalMart, Sam's... and many more. To make your stay even more enjoyable, let us do the shopping for you. Simply email your grocery list to us and we will take care of the rest. Everything will be in the kitchen when you arrive! As far as directions, some GPS systems don't recognize newly constructed homes. In that case, simply use the address of the Oxmoor Valley Golf Clubhouse: 100 Sunbelt Parkway, Birmingham, AL, 35211. We are only 175 yards from the clubhouse, on the same street. You have to drive past our home to get to the clubhouse. There are only four homes on the street and we are the last one on the right. I want to apologize to John because there should be a binder in the home providing this information. Thanks to him, I will get that binder finished asap!

Great place for RTJ trail courses

Great House with plenty of beds and bathrooms for your golf trip. The house is right at the entrance of the Oxmoor Valley course a short drive to Ross Bridge. Everything was very good except the grill. The grill was old, beaten up. One of the grill grate was broken and the grill was very dirty.

Family Golf Trip House

The Oster Palmer House was exactly as advertised with a great location; our group had a wonderful time on our annual golf trip. The house is very spacious well equipped and clean. It had plenty of room to accommodate our group. Rick was very accommodating and easy to communicate with and addressed my concerns very quickly and to my satisfaction. When in the Birmingham area again or in Prattville we would definitely stay at one of Rick’s houses.

Sibling Gathering

This was the first time all 8 of us stayed under the same roof since we were kids. Our ages are 59 to 68. It was fun. We played games , watched movies, went into town and just chilled around the house. It took us back to our growing up days. It was fun. We are talking about doing it again next year. We are talking about maybe coming back. If not the same place, it will be in the same area. Being able to wash our clothes before leaving was a good bonus. This place was awesome. Thanks for a great vacation.

My name is Rick Oster and I build "Oster Golf Houses" on the RTJ Trail. I'm a dad with 3 kids and I don't get to play enough golf! However, the one thing I make sure I do every year, is take a golf trip with my friends. In 2006, I came up with the idea of building houses specifically for golfers to rent. I wanted a place where we could be totally comfortable, hang out, goof off and have fun. I literally sat down and listed everything I'd want in a 'man cave' type of vacation home...and then I built it! My first home was near the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Oregon. It was so successful, that I began searching for another great location. After two years, I finally found an incredible acre of land, overlooking the 10th fairway at Oxmoor Valley. Since then, I have built 2 houses overlooking the RTJ courses in Prattville, AL @ Capitol Hill, and 2 more houses in Birmingham @ Oxmoor Valley.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

It's really difficult to buy 'golf front' land on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. Much of the land is owned by US Steel or the Retirement Systems of Alabama. So, I was absolutely thrilled to find this piece of property. The home sits up in the treetops, as the land slopes away down to the golf course. The view is phenomenal. There is nothing but trees between me and the clubhouse. It is an ideal spot to relax after a long day on the links!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

You can park your car at my house and never get back in it. There's no need to leave! We will stock the house with food and drinks and even have a chef come cook dinner! Need a massage? No problem, we will have a masseuse knock on the door! We tried to think of everything you might need to have the time of your life.
