Ce charmant bungalow de style Craftsman a boiseries d'origine, planchers de bois franc et cheminée offrant un séjour confortable pour les clients et comprend trois chambres au premier étage et salle de bain ainsi que salon / salle à manger et cuisine et propose des chambres et salles de bains supplémentaires sur les niveaux supérieurs et inférieurs. Profitez de promenades du matin à la plage avec du café chaud, ou des promenades à travers la roseraie historique ou pittoresque quartier bien entretenu. Overall nice place. Lot of character in house and rooms. Basement and second level steps are a bit cramped so put young couples in those areas. Great location next to park and across from beach.

Everything was great...from initial contact to booking to check in and check out. Kelly was super efficient and friendly. The property was immaculate in a great location. Our out of town friends were very happy with all of the aspects of the stay and are already asking about another stay! Highly recommended.

Overall enjoyed our stay, parking was tight because we had 3 trucks with boats, neighbors were very nice and let us park in front of their property. Owner was very nice and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again.

The house was clean and comfortable, the owner was more than accomodating and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. I especially appreciated her level of communication. We enjoyed staying here and will keep it in mind if we ever need a place to stay in Lorain.

Easy to find. Easy to get around Northern Ohio. Lots of room. Very cute, pickleball courts right across street. Really enjoyed it!

Clean and comfy

This is a cozy home just one house away from the beautiful park on the lake in Lorain. We would have enjoyed it more if the porch furnishings were updated and the landscaping was better taken care of in the front yard. That said we had everything we needed inside the house.

I apologize for your concerns and wish you would have reached out during your stay. The dehumidifier in the laundry room should have been left in prior to your arrival due to the changing temperature spring brings. I could have simply suggested you plug it in. As for any nest, I definitely wish you would have reached out with a concern so I could assure you there are no rats. We did have a flying squirrel try to get in so I had all the eaves checked. And if there was anything you noted to the contrary, I would have certainly had them rechecked! I certainly would have appreciated the opportunity to dispel those concerns so that you could fully enjoy your stay.

Family getaway

We loved our stay by the lake. There were nine of us, and everyone enjoyed the house. It hasn't had many updates and the appliances are old, so if you're looking for fresh and up to date this might not be for you. Everything else makes it great though! The beds were comfy, and there was plenty of space to spread out and entertain. It was freezing, but the kids just had to get close to the lake. We might have stayed there for two minutes, but we did it! Wow, that lake wind is cold! Kelly was quick to respond too. The location is great with some very kind neighbors. We're grateful for a fine place to stay.

Not what we expected

This location was convenient to the park and the beach area. We made the most of our visit but ultimately cut it short. The house and furniture was just not well kept. The large amounts of ductape on the sofa, dirty chairs, exposed lightbulbs, torn carpet, large hole over the toilet ceiling. It just needs so much work before offering it open to guests. We made the most of our time there. Decided to head home early. She is a lovely lady and quite sure she means well with this property but oh my. It’s ready for a refresh.

I certainly apologize for these items. The sectional initially showed wear on just the corner and suddenly began peeling in other spots. I spent several weeks looking for a new one but with COVID delays, would not get delivery during the summer season. It is such a comfortable sectional that I am now considering having it reupholstered, but either will unfortunately be after the seasons slows. In the meantime, I purchased a sofa cover to help eliminate more wear ( and cover some of the temporary upholstery tape repairs). The chair ottoman is indeed stained and will also either be replaced or recovered. I was able to at least purchase new porch furniture this spring despite COVID delays. As for the rug, the bias tape edging had loosened and is being remedied. I am not sure about any exposed light bulbs, other than the typical fixtures 8n the basement laundry but I will certainly look to see if any other fixture is missing a cover. Our large project this year was redesigning and rebuilding the stairs to the second floor to allow ample headroom at the top . The next off -season project is to complete the basement bath. We began with tiling the large shower floor and will continue the tile in the vanity sink area as well as replace the sink and add an access panel to cover the whole above the toilet that resulted from a plumbing repair. I am truly glad you enjoyed the location and sorry you felt the need to cut your trip short.

Wedding weekend

The house was comfortable and met most of our needs. The Lakeview Park across the was excellent. We spent a lot of time there, taking beautiful views and sunsets. Property owner is in the midst of making some improvements and I'd one of those is a handrail on the porch steps we would definitely stay there again

Family time

We live in Arizona now but are from Ohio. We came in for my moms 8oth birthday . We had some family over to celebrate. I was afraid that there would not be room but it worked out great. We moved stuff around, as I usually do. There is a bedroom off main room. We put small table and chairs for the kids to sit at and play. Lots space to sleep so that was the main goal. Everyone loved the house. The neighbors are great , very friendly. Kelly gets back to you immediately with any questions. It was a great trip.

It’s a beautiful house and location, they are doing some work on the house which is nice and when the AC stopped working they sent someone right over to fix it! Would definitely rent from this owner again!

Great location and great house!

Great house with a great location! We drove from Iowa and stayed 6 nights. Perfect size. There were 6 (ages 17-47) of us to start, 2 (15 & 50) came & stayed for 2 days. Perfect location between Cedar Point & Cleveland. Right across the street form Lake Erie. Park across the street with tennis court, baseball field & other activities. Park at the lake had a neat fountain at night & had a concert/play Friday & Saturday. House had everything we needed. There are 3 bathrooms, 2 have showers but we just used the main floor shower. Nice sized rooms. It says there are bunk beds, it's a trundle bed if that helps anyone with smaller children. Awesome front porch! Neighbor Joe is super friendly! We played cards every night before bed, table is big enough to fit 8 people. Washer & dryer available. If we ever go back to Cedar Point or even Cleveland (our 3rd time) we will definitely be staying here again if it's available! Floors are creaky cuz it is an older house but that sure didn't bother us or anyone that was trying to sleep. Great price! Lockbox with a key which is where we always kept it, so much easier & less likely to lose it... Great idea! What we did need, Kelly was right there with it. We had a great time!

Large family with all ages to please to celebrate a birthday We had a great time lots of laughs Nice to be close to lake area House was nice lots of places for everyone to sleep We saw Negative saw past reviews from 2016 about couch and little things that need repaired ... it was very uncomfortable and pieces of fabric coming off when you sat down Having younger children there the outlets should be fixed Other then that it was a great weekend 🏖🎉

Near Lake Erie

This house is a 3 minute walk to the shore of Lake Erie where there is a beautiful park and beach area. The house is very nice with lots of bathrooms and bedrooms. Met the neighbors and they are very sweet. The owner is accommodating and easy to contact. Recommend this house for families.

Beautiful house

This little house was perfect for us, we we stayed there for a cousins wedding and it worked out perfectly for all of us to be u see one roof and comfortable sleeping arrangements, unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side and we couldn’t enjoy the beach like we wanted in our free time.

Great place if you’re bringing kids. Plenty of sleeping area where everyone can spread out. Cedar Point is a quick drive away, plus the parks across the streets.

Wonderful Home

Really enjoyed our stay! Great Location with easy access to Cleveland Suburbs. Room for plenty and also very quiet neighborhood. Within walking distance you have access to the beach and a park which is great for a family vacation!
