Mid-century retreat, less than a mile from Vaught-Hemingway and the Grove.
Less than a mile from Vaught-Hemingway Stadium and the Grove, this renovated mid-century retreat is nestled among the trees on a private one-acre lot just off the Ole Miss Campus. With an open floor plan, two living areas, three bedrooms, three full baths, and two outdoor living areas, it's the perfect place for your next football weekend getaway.
Such a great property for our crew for the GSU v Ole Miss. Oxford is a gracious hostess and we loved the property! Super comfy primary bed and extra soft sheets! Well provisioned and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare healthy meals.
Your home was so comfortable and welcoming. The outdoor lighting and beautifully designed space was inspiring and made our stay in Oxford perfect. Thanks for opening up to us and we will be back.
This is one of THE BEST vacation rentals I have stayed in and trust me, I travel A LOT! Such a gorgeous home and property. Super clean, we had every single thing we needed +++. This home is exactly as the photos show plus some! There were six of us total and plenty of room to sleep and spread out so we weren't on top of one another. The record collection was a HUGE hit for all of us especially the twenty-somethings! I'm afraid that I'll need to step up my own collection now. We were in town for a football weekend and the location was perfect. Super close to campus to either walk or uber. Getting to The Square is less than a 10 minute drive. Communication with the owner was fabulous as well and had we needed anything, there is no doubt it would have been taken care of immediately. You cannot go wrong with this rental!
The house was an easy walk to the football stadium and the Grove. We had enough space for us to spread out. We had fun exploring the musical decor. The backyard was beautiful. We had an easy time getting in and out, even with game weekend traffic. Great property and host!
My husband and I are long-time Oxonians who enjoy music, traveling, and bringing new life to older homes. Oxford showcases Mississippi's abundant culture and is a special place to live and visit. There are hidden gems throughout the state, and we want others to experience Oxford and Mississippi for themselves. It's our pleasure to share our home and local recommendations with our guests.
The best thing about our neighborhood is its proximity to the Ole Miss campus and the South Campus Rail Trail, and we're just two miles from the square.
We love the convenience of our location and the privacy of our one-acre wooded lot. We renovated the house after purchasing it in 2015. The original house was built in 1960, with a large primary suite added in 2013.
