This is a very clean, comfortable and spacious home with a nice outdoor area. The appliances are new and the kitchen is very well supplied. Communication with the host was excellent, and the check-in process was seamless and easy. The location is convenient to the interstate, and it is a very short drive to downtown Charleston. I gave the location a 4-star rating simply because my personal preference when visiting Charleston is to stay downtown, in Mt. Pleasant, or in West Ashley. I enjoyed my stay immensely, and I would most definitely stay here again.

Perfect Stay for Attending a Wedding

This house was just perfect for our stay in Charleston for my nieces wedding. It has been updated with all the comforts and conveniences of home. The beds were all VERY comfortable with nice comfy sheets and duvets and the baths were nicely updated and very clean. The master bath is quite small but functions fine for two people. We never had to touch the thermostat and were comfortable during the day and at night. The ceiling fans in each bedroom were quiet and worked very well. I would definitely stay in this lovely home again! It is perfect for dogs and has a good size fenced backyard with plenty of grass and seating, and a nice deck with a nice grill. It is close to freeways and an easy drive into Charleston. Tanger Outlet stores and a Walmart are a five minute drive and easy to find.

Good Times

Our host, Erica was very prompt in returning texts and I loved her humor. Loved the decor and we felt right at home. Parking in front of the garage instead of on the street was a big plus. And the neighborhood was quiet. I would stay there again!

Great location and property

We enjoyed our stay at Southern Bell. The home is centrally located to everything. There is a nice little park within walking distance to take your dog. We walked the surrounding residential streets and had a couple encounters with loose dogs, so be prepared for that. The Master Bedroom bed is fantastic. Super comfortable, high quality mattress which is greatly appreciated. The small fenced in yard worked well for our dog. It was a great visit and Erica was super responsive and helpful. There is also a great book of recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. Would love to stay again!

Excellent Stay

We had an excellent stay at this beautiful North Charleston home. Exceptional attention to detail and a magnificent host made our stay very enjoyable. The home is elegantly decorated with super comfy beds and lots of space. The backyard was a perfect space for our pup. Easy drive to downtown and the beaches. We will definitely book again on your next visit to Charleston!! Thanks again for everything! -Kristen

Perfect spot to stay in North Charleston

We had a great time staying here. The house was clean and comfortable, well equipped and centrally located to everywhere we needed to be this long graduation weekend.

80th birthday celebration

Six of us celebrated my mother's 80th birthday with a long weekend getaway to Charleston. The Southern Bell was perfect for our needs and close to everything we wanted to do. Erica went above and beyond to have balloons and special goodies for my mom for her birthday...it made the whole experience extra special!

Thanksgiving 2023

The house is exactly as described, so no surprises when you get thru the door. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable, which you don't find often in rentals. Awesome water pressure in the shower as well. Erica was very prompt to answer any questions we had and was a pleasure to chat with. She left us some delicious coffee and cookies which we enjoyed upon check in. When we go back to Charleston, we will look to see if the property is available to book.

Great experience!

We were visiting Charleston with our dogs. The dogs enjoyed the backyard. The house was decorated so beautifully! Erica, the owner, allowed us to check in early and left us a sweet card, gift and cookies! There were plenty of spices to use and other kitchen items. The house is very dog friendly with dog towels, bowls, and treats. Our king bed was so comfy! Erica communicated with us quickly and was so kind. Thank you for everything, Erica!!

Exceptional host and property!

I can't say enough about this property and the host! We came to the Joint Base to for the International Police Working Dog Association Nationals. To say the host was dog friendly was an understatement! She communicated with us via text, left treats for the dogs, poop bags, extra sheets to cover the furniture, dog towels, a kind thank you note and some incredible cookies! They literally thought of everything. Comfortable and lovely deck, patio and back yard to relax with the dogs and drink wine. The house was extremely clean and well-appointed, the beds were comfortable, the showers were amazing, the neighborhood was quiet and you could get to almost everything in 15-20 minutes. We will definitely be back.

Amazing Hosts & Home!!!

We had a wonderful weekendstaying at the house. It had everything you would need for a perfect weekend away we grilled steaks and had dinner outside on the beautiful patio, watched movies in the living room on the reclining couches and made a huge breakfast in the morning. The home has everything! Our daughter got sick on the morning of our checkout and the hosts graciously let us stay several hours later to ensure she was well enough to travel. The absolutely went above and beyond! We will be coming back!!
