We had a fantastic weekend stay! The location was great! We came for the childrenâs museum and the zoo and felt this home was perfectly located to both locations. We enjoyed the walking path right down the road and the safe and quiet neighborhood. We will definitely be back!
We have stayed here multiple times and will continue to do so. Kimberly the owner is the most amazing host and we always look forward to booking with her!!! She is the best!
We enjoyed our stay in this well located neighborhood near Butler University and walking trails. House was nicely updated and very clean.Just a word of caution to anyone with mobility issues- the steps leading to the second floor master are steep .
Very nice neighborhood. Convenient to many things. House itself was darling. Plenty of room for our family which got together there for thanksgiving-birthday celebration and then early Christmas. Kitchen updated as was bathrooms. Owner very easy to reach.
Very well appointed and the property interior is even better than the pictures. Highly recommended when visiting your Butler student or a game at Hinkle.
We stayed at "Briefly Yours" while we attended Parents Weekend for our Butler Student. This is always our go to place to stay when it is not booked. I can't even begin to tell you how perfect everything is. We have been there several times and always hope it's available when we plan a new visit.
We don't own the home but it just feels so like ours when we are there. Couldn't ask for anything better for a home away from home and the host is amazing!!!
We had a great stay at this property.
It is literally a half a block from the Butler University campus. Easily walkable to all parts of campus. We were there for Homecoming and enjoyed the ease walk there.
The property itself is quite beautiful! The interior looks exactly as the VRBO pictures indicate. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom was simply amazing in its style and function.
We kept quite busy the days we were there for Homecoming. Sadly, we weren't able to fully enjoy all the property. We will definitely stay there again!
Property was very livable and could tell itâs been recently remodeled. Pictures of the upstairs bathroom do not do it justice, it was fantastic. Washer and dryer were a plus for daughterâs college laundry. Perfect location for exploring and local walks.
My daughter and I rented this lovely home for 6 days while she attended Butler University tennis camp. The bathrooms had both been completely redone and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable with large closets. The master closet is huge and wonderfully done. The kitchen is wide open with a cozy breakfast nook, island and separate dining room table. Would definitely stay again! Communication with Kim was prompt and check in was seamless.
This home is a gem and the Host is absolutely amazing! This is our second time back and we have stayed at several places in the past and our stay here always feels so comfortable and just like home. Great location for a stay in Indy or visiting Butler University! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us! We will be back!
We made the property work but we are a tall family and it was not easy. Overall the house is uncomfortable and not as represented in the write ups. King bed is not a king. It is two twin beds made up separately and pushed together. Full bed is hard as a rock and oddly high. Not easy to get into even for a tall person. Pull out couch is tiny and mattress is super thin. The loft in the master bedroom is not useful for sleeping. Door knobs are impossible to use in all rooms and floors, couches and refrigerator were not cleaned at check-in. Drawers in kitchen and refrigerator were broken or unattached. Thereâs also way too much furniture in the kitchen and it is difficult to navigate for tall people like our family. Stairs are steep so anyone with mobility issues should not book this house. The host is responsive and the neighborhood is quiet and darling. The house would be good for 3-4 small people when it is clean and in working order.
We thouroughly enjoyed our time here on our first stay in the area to visit our daughter that is new to Butler University. Everything was simply perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better location to enjoy our stay. We were close to EVERYTHING - Indy, Broad Ripple, Butler, and even took a ride to beautiful Carmel Indiana.
The home was super clean, newly renovated and provided us everything we needed to feel "at home" while we were away. Our host Kimberly was amazing and we look forward to booking many more stays at this Home away from Home!
We stayed for Butler move in weekend, so this was a convenient location. House is clean. There are plenty of nice extras like ample paper towels, hand soap, kleenex, TP with spare available if needed, cotton balls, shower soap/shampoo/conditioner. Kitchen is updated and easy to use.
The beds included are a king (which is 2 twin beds put next to each other with twin bedding, so can't sleep in middle of bed), one double bed in 2nd bedroom, one pull out couch in 3rd bedroom, and a twin futon (that is located in the loft up a ladder in the master bedroom).
The host communicated very well before and during our stay.
This is a lovely home, and the convenience to campus, as well as just about anywhere else you want to go, can't be beat. We walked through campus and at Holcomb Park (beautiful and so close!). There is a running/biking trail steps away, and it was an easy drive to Broad Ripple as well as downwtown. Kimberly was impeccable in her communication and helpfulness. Parking was easy, kitchen was well equipped, and the upstairs bathroom is luxurious! I was able to invite my Indy friends over for dinner, and they were all impressed with the place. It was a perfect for our needs.
A few things to make sure are a fit for you if you're booking: there is a significant pet fee, the stairs are steep, the King is two twins together, and I only needed 2 bedrooms so I was squared away but if you need 3 or 4 be sure the details work for you. Also, there's a cute little enclosed backyard, but it wasn't mown so not really a good option for the pup (not sure if it's intended to be). But we like to walk, so that wasn't a problem. I would definitely stay there again!
