Your enclosed bedroom is rare within Sapphire Beach Resort, providing additional privacy and spaces, especially traveling with friends. We were delighted to find sea turtles just off the beach and an easy ferry to the countless trails and beaches of St. John, but maybe you'll love the night life of Red Hook or Charlotte Amalie. The adventure is yours to choose!

THE SPACE
Tropical Tide is designed with relaxation in mind, ocean tides with an airy jungle vibe. It's location is the perfect balance of privacy and convenience with Sapphire Beach Resort & Marina.

Our custom built, enclosed bedroom is a rare find among studio Suites in Sapphire Beach Resort, providing additional privacy and spaces while you enjoy time away with friends and family. Both the bedroom and living room can be closed to the hallway whenever you choose. The queen bed is prepared with a luxury Serta pillow top mattress, the room equipped with soft & dimmable lighting, and bedside shelves provide the option for wireless, USB, and USB-C charging.

Slide open the balcony doors to create your own indoor/outdoor living space and bask in a panoramic view of white sands lining the turquoise Caribbean Sea. St. John and several of the British Virgin Islands enhance the horizon. Open the front door as well to take advantage of fresh easterly breezes passing through. Our high-top office space provides table-height, dual outlets with USB, USB-C, and traditional charging. The same table can slide away from the wall and be folded open to double the size of the table-top for games, dining, or just more desk space. Premium cable channels are provided, as well as multiple streaming services available for personal login.

Our kitchen boasts granite countertops, stainless steel sink & faucet, sink-top water purification faucet, Wolfe glass cooktop, full-sized refrigerator, microwave, and cognac-stained hardwood cabinets. A coffee maker, single K-cup brewer, toaster over, blender, and traditional toaster are also provided.

Most recently, Tropical Tide was updated with fresh paint throughout as well as new lighting and ceiling fans. If you're traveling with a large party, we are familiar with the owners directly next door and will be glad to connect you with them for the option to stay close.

As a guest of Tropical Tide, you are entitled to the exclusive benefits of Sapphire Beach Resort. Amenities include:

The Marina:
is also just steps down the beach, where you can rent boats or book charters for snorkeling and exploring the beaches of St. John or the BVIs. Rent jet-skis, go parasailing, and try other watersports! Local bonus: boats returning to the marina at dusk may sell their fresh catch to you.

The Laundry Room:
is in the module to the left (north side) of the marina. Tokens for washer/dryer, and detergent, can be purchased 7:30am-3:00pm in the Dockmaster’s Office, next door in the same module.

In our experience, tokens cost $4 each; cost is one token to wash and wash betaken to dry. Washer takes 35 min, and dryer takes 45 min. All of this is subject to change at resort management’s discretion.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Remember, we own the condo directly next door, Ocean Breeze! If you're traveling with friends, renting both condos provides space for 4 people, allowing you to stay close and still maintain privacy when you choose.
