Fun and funky location, good price, very old home with giant ceilings. "Spanish Town" is unique; strolling around the neighborhood to view homes and gardens is a treat. Coffee shop down the street, downtown area and Interstate very close by. Designated parking is helpful, in an area that is "permit parking" only. I love the high end finishes/products, artwork, and decor. Convenient kitchen: air fryer, microwave, Keurig, but strangely, no potholders, and just one kitchen towel, no sponge or dishcloth to wipe the counters. I brought my own sponge and extras towel, thoughThe bed is quite comfortable but the air conditioner unit was in DIRE need of a very thorough cleaning, which I discovered on my 5th day there, after allergic symptoms began. The hosts were quick to respond, but I prefer not to breathe mildew and dust bunnies during any part of my stay. Confusing: the listing says, "Sleeps 3"? King beds generally sleep 2. The whole place has good lighting, but is a bit dark during the day, without much natural light coming in. It stays cool in the hot months with the ceiling fan and shade trees. Blackout curtains in the bedroom. Trouble with the keypads: the laundry room pad was a different version than the pad on the front door, so two sequences and two different codes. Having directions to keypads spelled out beforehand would be helpful. VERY quiet except one night when tenant with shared wall did laundry and banged around well past midnight. I'd stay again!
