Welcome the luxurious accommodations of the Lyric at Norton Commons. The Norton Commons neighborhood is an extremely walkable, mixed use development with shopping, restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. This unit is offered as a partnership with Watch Hill Proper, Louisville's premier bourbon destination. This unique partnership allows our guests the opportunity to participate in exclusive bourbon experiences, tastings, food pairings, and even private barrel selection.
The living space itself is extremely spacious and updated. Upon entering you will be greeted by the open concept with 10 foot ceilings. The modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances and quartz counter tops is stocked and ready for basic cooking. Each bedroom is equipped with king size, memory foam mattresses perfect for sleeping off a day on the bourbon trail. Two full bathrooms (one with a tub shower combo and the other with a stand up shower) are connected to the bedrooms. One of the bathrooms has "Jack and Jill" doors for easy access from the common area.
Step out on to the rear covered patio with views overlooking the pool and Zen courtyard areas, enjoy a movie or a game in the theater lounge, or be still and calm in the meditation room. Free covered parking is readily available in the attached parking garage.

**PLEASE NOTE** - This unit is subleased as a short term rental. The short term rental accommodations offered at this unit are subject to all terms of the lease agreement between the lessor and the lessee. Violation of any terms of the lease agreement will result in additional fines, removal from the property, and potentially criminal penalties.
RENTAL AGREEMENT: Guests are required to sign all Rental Agreements within 24 hours of booking. If guests do not complete or refuse to sign the rental agreement, host reserves the right to cancel the reservation without penalty and the cancellation policy will still apply.
KENTUCKY DERBY: All Kentucky Derby week/weekend reservations are non refundable, regardless of whether or not a rental agreement has been signed.
RECORDING DEVICES: Recording devices are located on the exterior of the property. Devices record audio and video and recordings are triggered by motion. Devices will be active during guests stay. Recording devices only capture views of the exterior. Guest safety and privacy are top priorities. These recording devices exist solely for the safety and security of our great guests!
NO SMOKING: Absolutely no smoking or vaping inside the home
CHECK IN: Contactless check in is available until 10 pm EST via keypad. Any guests planning to check in after 10 pm EST must notify the host in writing prior to 10 pm to make accommodations for after hours check in. The host may not be available to assist with any check in issues between 10 pm and 9 am EST
NUMBER OF GUESTS WE HOST: We expect to only host the number of people on your reservation only. For insurance and safety purposes, please make sure your reservation reflects the accurate number of people. For properties that accept more than 8 guests, we have an additional guest fee of $10 per guest, per night for every guest above 8 total guests.
NOISE LEVELS: Please be mindful of noise levels at all times and be respectful of neighbors by adhering to the quiet hours.
PARTIES/EVENTS: Absolutely no parties or events are allowed without written approval from the host prior to check in.
AIRBNB SERVICES: We do not permit any Airbnb Services or Experiences of any kind at this property. This includes third-party bookings made through the Airbnb Experiences platform. Any guest who attempts to host or bring an Airbnb-related Service or Experience onto the premises without our prior written approval will have their reservation cancelled immediately, with no refund issued.
PETS/SERVICE ANIMALS/EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS: Pets and Emotional Support animals are NOT allowed at this unit. We are aware of and fully comply with all local and federal regulations regarding Service Animals. However, online booking platforms indicate that a Host may qualify for an exemption in certain circumstances including but not limited to HOA/Landlord/Building Requirements: "The Host States that they cannot accept Service Animals at the risk of fines, legal action, or eviction for violating HOA, landlord, or building restrictions for breeds, animals, or Service Animals". The online booking platforms require that we obtain written documentation of the lease as it pertains to service animals. This written documentation reads:
"Apartment management will authorize an assistance animal for a disabled person. When allowed by applicable laws, before we authorize an assistance animal, if the disability is not readily apparent, we may require a written statement from a qualified professional verifying the disability-related need for the assistance animal. If we authorize an assistance animal, we may require you to execute a separate animal and /or assistance animal addendum. Animal deposits, additional rents, fees or other charges will not be required for an assistance animal needed due to disability, as authorized under federal, state, or local law." In most cases we will not be able to accept service animals due to the Landlord/Lease exemption. In some cases where a service animal requires a specific function for a guest, the guest must participate in a screening process performed by apartment management. This screening MUST be scheduled with Apartment Management at least 30 days prior to check in. Written approval from Apartment Management must be obtained and given to the host prior to check in. This building may be shared by other tenants, cleaners, or other personnel who face direct health issues stemming from exposure to service animals.

My husband and I booked this apartment for a last minute weekend getaway to celebrate our anniversary. It was exactly what we were looking for. The apartment was super clean and the complex offered so many amenities. Restaurants, coffee shop and shopping all within walking distance, which was a huge plus! Super safe and friendly community!!

Loved the location of this apartment. Great community. We took advantage of walking the beautiful neighborhood every morning and enjoyed the different restaurants and bars on a rainy day. Would highly recommend and would even go back.

Three family members came to Louisville for a celebration of life for another family member. This is a great apt. It’s very well appointed and decorated. Much, much better than a hotel. Great parking garage and other amenities. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful spacious apartment
This VRBO has the appearance of a model home.
The kitchen, great room, bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. It has a patio overlooking the garden/pool area. We were amazed by the amenities that The Lyric had to offer, such as a large, modern exercise room, a nap pod, game room, pool and more. You can either take a city street drive or a scenic country road to the apartments. The Norton Commons area is so beautiful, and walkable. There are lovely parks in the area, too.
We had a verycomfortable stay.

Awesome Rental in Louisville JY
One of the best rental experiences i have ever had! Brandon and Kayla were so accommodating! I traveled to Louisville for a family get together for Mother's Day. The apartment at Lyric Commons is beautifully decorated and has great space for 4-5 people! The location is awesome with parks, boutiques, restaurants,, and close to Costco!!The amenities of the apartment complex are outstanding! The outdoor living space is gorgeous! This apartment is on the first floor very convenient to the parking garage and ramp that leads to the outdoor pool and outdoor living space with a gorgeous fire table!! U definitely will be back!!

Trip back to hometown for family wedding
We recently came back to Louisville for my nephew's wedding and found this gem of an apartment for my family (myself, husband, daughter, son-in-law and 2 year old granddaughter) to stay in for 4 days. The property was amazing, so many on-site amenities. The apartment itself was great-clean, beautifully decorated, very comfortable. Lots of space to spread out, large kitchen, all new appliances and modern conveniences. I do have some recommendations for owners:
*Need towel hooks next to showers. Towel rack way too far away and no place to hang towels
*Bath towels were poor quality and seemed overused
*Kitchen had great quality items, but could use more pots and pans
*Starter papertowels and toilet paper were provided, but would have liked some kleenex. We had to use toilet paper for that
These things aside, we loved the apartment, would highly recommend to others to rent and would return again.

Our experience at The Lyric surpassed our expectations. The apartment was ideal being in Norton Commons for walking to restaurants and enjoying the many green spaces and walking trails throughout the neighborhood. Two grocery stores a short drive just down the street made shopping very convenient. The apartment itself was roomy and comfortable. Also parking garage was easily accessible and made coming and going effortless. Many extra amenities in this particular building that included game room, work out room, media space, and several nice gathering areas on the main floor.Will definitely stay here again when coming to Louisville. Host was very quick to respond to any questions we had.
