The space
There is nothing better than life on the lake!

Crystal Haven is located on a quiet cove with access to the sought after northern end of Hyco Lake. The view from the back porch and from the living areas takes your breathe away!

The home is also built to entertain! The downstairs area has toys for kids and both living areas have televisions where you can enjoy and watch your streaming subscriptions!

Guests enjoy plenty of space to have their meals! There is a large dining table the main floor as well as a table on the covered deck that overlooks the water and seats 8.

Starlink WiFi was installed in October 2023 at the house

The dock is very large and private (they are not allowed to build docks as big anymore). There are two boat slips. One can be made available for guest use but you must ask. You can tie up your boat to the end of the dock.

There is a shaded dock area with patio furniture. There is also a large sun lounge area.

Please note that due to the extreme weather from the hurricanes/storms, we took down the TV for safety.

*** PLEASE READ - IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING ***

UPDATE:
Due to the recent storm, the property experienced some water damage, which our team promptly dried and cleaned up. As a result, our house is now fully accommodated and can accept reservations at this time. However, we'd like to note that a few spots of drywall and trim are still in line to be patched once the sump pump system has been installed, which is expected to be completed sometime this September. This is purely a cosmetic issue and will not impact your stay with us.

KAYAK AND PEDAL BOAT are available for use at the house.

REQUIREMENTS TO BOOK:
• The primary renter must be 25 to book this property

PARTIES/EVENTS:
• We do NOT allow any parties, receptions or events at this property

PETS:
•⁠ ⁠We allow up to (1) dog to join you in your stay for an additional $200 pet fee.
• Pet should not weigh more than 50 lbs
•⁠ We do NOT allow cats or puppies in our home
•⁠ ⁠Pet is not allowed on the furniture
•⁠ ⁠Pet must be supervised at all times
•⁠ ⁠Pet must be declared upon reservation

LAKE SAFETY RULES:
• NO jumping or diving off the dock
• Use of the water toys/activities is at the guest's own risk and discretioN

HOT TUB:

• There should be an expectation that the hot tub will be off-line from Memorial Day to Labor Day

• If the hot-tub is undergoing maintenance or repairs and is unavailable during your stay, there is no discounts or refunds. We will do our best to make it available in the non-summer months but there is no guarantees.

• Please note that in the event we need to drain the hot-tub after your stay, there will be a fee of $350 to cover the cost of maintenance and cleaning. We strive to keep our hot-tubs in excellent condition for all of our guests to enjoy, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping them in top shape.

• No glass in or near the hot tub or pool. If there's any remnants of glass, guest will be charged a $2,000 fee.

• If guests drain the hot tub, a $1,000 fee will be charged. Guests will also be held liable for any damages resulting from this action.

NOISE:
• Quiet time is between 10 pm and 6 am. Please do not play outside music and keep noise to a minimum in order to respect our neighbors.

DRUGS
• No Illegal drugs are permitted to be stored or used at anytime at Crystal Haven

PARKING
• There is a parking space available in front of the house (in the circle driveway). Five cars can fit at most.

SMOKING
• No smoking cigarettes, tobacco, marijuana, and vape is allowed inside Crystal haven at any time.

FIREWOOD
• Firewood are guaranteed during winter only
• Bundles are sold at Hyco Lake Marina

OPTIONAL BOAT RENTAL:
• We are in partnership with Hyco Lake Boat Rentals and they have pontoon boats available for rent. Send us a message for more information.
• The renter needs to be 26 years old or older. The operator/s need to be legally permissible to operate a boat
• The boats come with lifejackets.
• Boat renters should have previous boating experience and will receive an orientation and safety lesson from the team. Often times the boat can be delivered and picked up directly from the dock.
• We are not held responsible in the event that Hyco Lake Boat Rentals does not rent out boats due to weather or any other circumstances.

Note: The lawn service provider may come to take care of the lawn during your stay.
