Whether traveling to Playa Coronado to relax, spend time with family, flee the cold weather or scout your retirement destination, this house is perfectly located in the heart of Playa Coronado and features an airy, tropical ambience, a pool with loungers to soak up the sun, two bohios with dining/lounging areas, hammocks to sway your day away and a BBQ to cook fresh fish bought at the local fish market.
The house has a water well so no problems with access to water during the Dry Season.
This is a wonderful place! It was spotless and had everything you could possibly need. Its conveniently located near stores, restaurants, and the beach. And the backyard is magical. I cant recommend this place enough. Would definitely stay on a future visit!
The house was lovely and exactly as presented. The backyard is truly spectacular, and we used the wet bar and barbeque often, especially when we hosted a few guests. The bedrooms were cozy, the beds were comfortable, and the showers and bath products were high end.The kitchen was reasonably well-stocked, and even had some spices. The water dispenser was appreciated, as was having 5 ice trays! The area has lots to offer, from huge grocery stores, shops, restaurants and beaches (note: there is no shade on the beaches) to beautiful national parks, and hiking (moderate to terrifying). The area provides whatever you are interested in.We would highly recommend renting a car. The property has a covered car park to keep it from melting. It should be noted that the pool is quite warm and provided only minimal relief from the heat. On hot, windless days, it was necessary to use the outdoor shower, and blast the shaded patio area with multiple fans. Only the bedtooms have a/c.There were two issues while we were there, neither of which the owners have the ability to address. Firstly, there was a bad algae outbreak in the pool that took four days to address. This surprised us, as the pool is carefully tended to once or twice a week (we identified the problem). The second issue was that the house ran out of water on our second last day. Talking to people we met there, it seems that is not an unusual event in that area of Playa Coronado.Overall, it was a wonderful visit, with a bump or
This place is every bit as nice in person as it looks online and it was everything we wanted. The only issue we had was lack of hot water into the master bathroom which to me wasn't a problem at all because the water doesn't run cold anyways and my wife just took a shower in one of the other bathrooms. Jacqueline was great to respond to me on things and I know she would've got someone out there had I told her but we were coming and going too much and didn't want to have to wait on a repairman to come. The only other thing to note, you do get a pass to get behind the gate for a shortcut to the beach area but beach access isn't inviting at all. Mansions and resorts have the beaches so what you get is a walk down a long ally then walking/climbing over big rocks, which I wasn't going to subject my mother-in-law to. We were perfectly content to stay in the pool anyways. If you want to get to the beach, there's a couple of better accesses closer to Playa Serena and you'll likely have the whole beach to yourself. All in all, this place truly was a dream and nobody wanted to leave it. Highly recommend and would hope to stay here again!
We had a fantastic stay. The property is so well organized and stocked. The owners truly thought of everything. Great communication throughout and very helpful. We loved our stay and highly recommend this Accomodation for your Coronado exploration.
