Breathtakingly Beautiful Brand New Trillium Home
Leave all of your worries behind when you escape to "On the Rocks" - located in The Trillium Links and Lake Club in Cashiers, NC. You'll have lake views with the magnificent mountains beyond. With four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a huge outdoor fireplace, three interior fireplaces and access to club amenities, you're sure to have a spectacular visit.
We have spent the past two decades vacationing in the Highlands / Cashiers area - and have just completed building what we believe is exactly what travelers to this area are searching for in a vacation home in the mountains.
If you are looking for long range views of Lake Glenville and the mountains beyond, this is the place for you. You and your family can sit around the large, wood-burning stone fireplace and take in the beautiful views and the cool mountain weather in the summer, the splendor of the leaves changing in the fall, enjoy a fire in cool winter months, or enjoy the wildlife and renewal of the seasons in the Spring.
We are located within the Trillium Links and Lakes Club, which is a private club with significant amenities including Championship Golf, a Marina on Lake Glenville, Fitness Center, Indoor and Outdoor Tennis Courts, Heated Pool, Neighborhood Hiking Trails, Pickleball and access to a newly renovated clubhouse with world class dining and some of the best views in the Highlands/Cashiers area.
If you decide to join the club for a day ($50) or a week ($200) - all of the amenities that come with being a member of a private club are yours to enjoy during your stay. You are not required to join the club as a house guest - but it is an exceptional amenity on par with Old Edwards or High Hampton - without all of the hotel guests.

Main Level
If you are traveling as a couple - you will have everything you need on one level. There is an open concept great room / kitchen area featuring 18' high exposed beam ceilings - with new, high-end appliances and comfortable and well thought out furnishings and living spaces. There is a large stone gas fireplace in the living room, so you don't have to worry about firewood, ashes or the fire going out.
The master suite features another gas fireplace with a timer, a huge closet, heated floors in the bathroom and a bath / shower combination which features a oversized soaking tub with a chandelier!
The back porch is accessed from both the great room and the master suite - and features a dining area for up to 6, a stone, wood burning fireplace with TV and comfortable outdoor furnishings. The views from the porch are spectacular in all seasons.
If you must work, there is a dedicated office area on the main level with the fastest internet on the plateau from which you can keep up with important matters.
Downstairs Level
The downstairs area is the location of another spacious living area, three bedrooms and a kitchenette from which to serve coffee, breakfast, drinks and snacks. The kitchenette features a sink, coffee maker, refrigerator and counter-depth microwave which provides the ability to serve without going to the upstairs kitchen.
If traveling as a larger group - for young children - we feature a pack -n- play and a portable high chair if you don't want to bring yours. For those with older children - we have a dedicated and separate living area for them to hang out in the lower level with TV and Fireplace. There are two separate bedrooms downstairs with queen beds - and finally, another bedroom with four bunk beds for those that want to hang together.
We can easily accommodate up to 8-10 guests. There is a large pantry, a laundry room and a two-car garage for when you want to get your vehicle out of the elements. There are four smart TV's available - please remember to bring your streaming passwords.
For outdoor entertainment, we have complimentary fishing poles (you need to bring your own bait), hiking trails (with waterfalls!) in the neighborhood - as well as two paddleboards and two kayaks which you as our guest have complimentary access to at any time.
Local activities include hiking, horseback riding, kayaking, zip lining, tubing, snow tubing, skiing, mountain roller coasters, sliding rocks, waterfalls, antiquing, shopping, farmers markets, the Village Green, and so much more.

We're a family of 4 that absolutely loves the mountains. My husband grew up not far from here and felt the mountains calling him back. So, we built this home and hope to share it with you.
Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
Trillium is a wonderful mountain neighborhood. It has on property hiking, the Lake, Golf, Pickleball, Croquet, Top Notch Dining and tons of fun family entertainment.
Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?
We built this home with the vacation renter in mind. There are separate upstairs and downstairs living rooms and shared spaces so that more than one family can enjoy and spread out.
